Chapter 21: Surrounded?

"Puchi!" The knife stabbed into Butcher's thigh. He screamed and then swung the knife at Wesley's foot. It was too late to draw the knife. Wesley jumped up and dodged, then pulled out the pistol and fired continuously. Butcher was really good at it. He lay on the ground and kept waving the knife and sharpening stick in his hand, which were the two things he used most often.

"Ding Ding Ding" blocked three bullets in a row. Wesley pressed his arm and fired directly at his legs. "Damn it, I'm going to kill you." The Butcher was a little crazy. His body was very fat, so Wesley came up and stabbed him in the thigh with a dagger so that he would not be able to get up for a while, and then he fired at him. But he did not expect that he could block bullets while lying on the ground, so he attacked his legs again.

The Butcher was enraged and tried to get up. He had no use for his weapon at this point. Wesley fired again and hit him in the head.

Taking a deep breath, Wesley breathed a sigh of relief. A butcher is not easy to kill, especially on his territory. Fortunately, I can control my heartbeat through the apple and avoid his first sneak attack.

The Butcher was too strong. Wesley had learned this during training. He would not die if a normal knife was stabbed into his body, unless it was in the position of his heart, and the power of a pistol was not good. A 9mm bullet was not very lethal to him, unless it was an 11.43mm pistol like the M1911. A bullet could make a big hole in a human body.

Wesley replaced the magazine with a fresh one, then pushed forward and pushed open a door in front of him. They were in a small hallway with neat cabinets on either side, and on the other side was the round file room. There were cabinets all around, which blocked the windows well. Carlos couldn't support them here, but Wesley was confident that he could kill everyone even if Fox didn't help. As for Sloan, who was afraid of death, he couldn't escape.

Stepping forward, Wesley came to the other side. The door was open and he was two steps away from entering, but he stopped. "Sloan…" Wesley shouted. "Come out. I'm not going to walk in. A group of rats is afraid of the sun. All of them are hiding here."

Sloan came out, sitting directly across from Wesley. "I don't know why you betrayed us and your father. Did Cross give you anything?"

"Don't say such stupid things. You should know that your trick has been seen through. In fact, I knew from the beginning that the guy who died on the rooftop was not my father, and my father has been around me. Don't forget my ability. After being watched for more than twenty years, would I not feel anything? Sloan… Your name appeared on the Loom of Fate. You betrayed the purpose of the Assassin Brotherhood. You are the damn one." Wesley took out a piece of cloth and threw it in. He knew that no one would look at it.

Several people flashed out from behind the surrounding pillars. They all pointed their pistols at Wesley. "Is that true?" Fox asked. Sloan took his time to take out a folder, then opened it and took out a piece of paper and handed it to the gunsmith. "This is your name."

He walked up to Fox again and handed her one. "This is yours." Continuing to walk, he completely ignored the gun in Wesley's hand. After walking around, he said, "If you think I'm breaking the rules of the Brotherhood, you can put the gun in your mouth now and pull the trigger." Sloan knows that people are afraid of death. It doesn't matter if the others aren't afraid. Most of them are on his side now. Wesley's position may not have walked in, but can he hide in such a narrow corridor?

"Sloane, their names appeared because of you. He first went against the arrangement of fate, and they followed your orders under unknown circumstances. Their mistakes should actually be blamed on you."

"So what? We have power. We have great power. We can change the world and make the world run according to our intentions. This is a world where the weak are prey to the strong."

"Yes, it's a world where the strong prey on the weak. That's why you were afraid of my father, so you asked me to come here. Similarly, I know the rules of this world, so I chose to come here to be trained and become a top assassin."

"Then why don't you join us? If you join us, we will be even stronger."

"Because you don't understand that the world is changing. Look at how shabby it is. Everything is so old. The Assassin Brotherhood is already decaying. Otherwise, there wouldn't be guys like you. The mission of the Loom of Fate has been completed. The world needs a new order, so I'm here. Sloan, you don't have a chance."

"Haha, there are so many guns pointed at you. You are surrounded, aren't you?"

"Are you sure?" Wesley smiled, and his heart began to beat faster. He held the gun a little tighter in his hand again, and his eyes scanned the targets in front of him. Now there were three people who could attack him, and the rest were cross-aimed on both sides. He could hear their heartbeats.

The tension began to build, and everyone kept quiet. Now a slight movement or sound could immediately cause a firefight. Sloan started the fire. "Now is the time for everyone to make up their minds. Either kill themselves or kill this bastard." Sloan hated Wesley. There weren't many people left in Fraternity now.

The gunsmith glanced at Sloan. "Of course I'm going to shoot this bastard." Wesley moved. He used his feet to stir the wooden doors on both sides. The wooden doors closed. Everyone in the file room fired at once and kept pulling the trigger on the wooden doors. The only exception was Fox.

Sloan backed away the moment he opened fire, and he ran away, leaving the others behind.

When the bullets ran out and everyone began to reload, two grenades were thrown through the gap in the wooden door, and Wesley was just above it. The moment the door closed, he jumped high, his legs stepping on the cabinets on both sides, and then he continued upward, his whole body pressed against the roof of the shed.

When he heard them reloading, he took out two grenades and threw them in. There were two loud bangs and there were screams coming from inside. Then there was the sound of gunfire. The sound of an M1911. Had Fox made a move? Wesley would not trust Fox too much. He jumped down and looked through the mottled gap in the wooden door. The Assassin's door was down. He glanced down at their bodies. Dark red blood was flowing out and Fox was holding a pistol to his forehead. Wesley raised his gun and rushed in.
