Chapter 2009: Helper



Even though 10 days was not a long time for Ajax to wait to harvest the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, if there was a way to decrease the duration, he wouldn't mind trying them.

Before he awakened the Divine Plant Rule, Ajax solely relied on external sources to nurture his plants and he thought he could do the same to fasten the maturing period of these essential

plants.

'I can use the Plant Essence; however, I have already used everything in nurturing the Higher World Tree and other two special Mythical Grade Trees.'

Previously, Ajax had bought lots of Plant Essence; however, he has used almost everything.

'Floris has some good skills that speed up the plants.'

While thinking about the methods to speed up the nurturing, Ajax thought about his Special Elemental Spirit, Floris, the Flower Elemental Spirit.

As the Flower Elemental Spirit, she was born to grow plants and she even has a couple of skills similar to Ajax's [Enhanced Nurturing].

'Floris.'

With a thought, Ajax pulled Floris into the Divine Inner World and shared his thoughts with her.

"I can do it."

Floris felt excited about being specially called to help her master.

Soon, she started working on nurturing the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants.

[Blooming Aura]

First, Floris walked into the centre of the 100 Rule Ascension Lotus Plants and activated one of her basic skills.

The thing with the basic skills is they are cost-effective and can be used for long intervals.

'Swiish'

As soon as she activated the skill, her entire body emitted a faint green glow like a nature spirit simulating the plants surrounding her.

'Although they are not growing as fast as when I activated the Divine Plant Rule, it is better than nothing.'

Looking at the visible rate of growth in the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, Ajax was satisfied; however, he knew that Floris had yet to use her main skill.

[Nurturing Rain]

After using her basic skill, Floris moved to an intermediate skill where she rooted her position and released a green cloud.

The green cloud was not big but not small either, just enough to cover the 100 Rule Ascension Lotus Plants.

'Swoosh'

Soon after, the cloud poured shining rain on the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, speeding up their growth by a good margin; however, it was still lacking a bit when compared to Ajax's speed.

'T-this is already close to the effects of my Divine Plant Rule. As long as she can maintain this kind of speed for an hour, it would reduce my burden by at least 20 percent or even higher.'

Looking at the nurturing speed that Floris brought to the Lotus Plants, Ajax was satisfied; however, he knew there was still another big move that Foris was yet to use.

In the next second, the growing speed of the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants reached a terrifying level.

'T-this...the speed is almost the same as my Divine Plant Rule's associated Divine Skill.'

Although Ajax was expecting Floris to have good plant nurturing skills, he was still surprised at the level she could achieve.

'As expected of a Flower-type Elemental Spirits. I was greatly underestimating them.'

When Ajax thought about the main purpose of the Elemental Spirits, he realized that he understood the Elemental Spirits' ability.

Fighting was one aspect; however, the main purpose of the Elemental Spirits was to help their master and as a Flower-Type Elemental Spirit, its main purpose was to help Ajax nurture the

plants.

'System, adding her skills to my nurturing skills, the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants will mature in just five days, right?'

Ajax asked the system with a smile.

There was no reply from the system for a minute before Ajax received a notification.

'Ding,

After the calculations, with Floris' help, the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants will be matured in 6 days.

'6 days? Looks like her skills are a bit lacking compared to my Divine Plant Rule.'

If the plants matured in 5 days, then it would mean both Ajax and Floris had equal nurturing skills; however, the system informed him that it would take 6 days.

It means his skills were a bit better than Floris's.

'6 days is much better than 10 days; however, I am still someone who can help me in nurturing the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants and further decrease the duration.'

Ajax was in a good mood today because not only could he get a steady supply of Quasi-Divine Grade Seed, but he would get them in less than 4 days even every three days.

When Ajax was thinking of ways to speed up the growth rate of the Rule Ascension Lotus Plants, other than Floris, he thought of another person who could help him.

It was none other than Siora.

'She has her Divine Forest Rule which could rapidly grow the plantation around her.'

Although the Divine Forest Rule was more of an offensive Divine Rule, there were slight nurturing effects along with a Divine Skill that could speed up the growth of the plantation

around her.

'Her nurturing skills might not be comparable to Floris but as long as it could be reduced at least one day, I am more than happy.'

Even though Ajax said only one day, he was expecting more than 2 days. But, in his current situation, he would be more than happy even if it was a single-day reduction in the maturity

of the Lotus Plants.

'However, the bad thing is, Siora has already used her Divine Forest Rule for today and could only use it tomorrow.'

Ajax shrugged his hands and decided to take her help the moment her Divine Forest Rule came out of the cooldown.

'Ding,

The Flower Elemental Spirit's [Elemental Ascension] has been active for 10 minutes. It will be

entering a cooldown.

Like how Cultivators required Divine Rules, the Elemental Spirits required Elemental Ascendance to ascend to the Heavenly Realm.

Moreover, there were many similarities between the Divine Rules and the Elemental Ascendance like additional effects and Divine Skills associated with them.

Floris' [Floral Symphony] was a Divine Skill similar to Ajax's [Enhanced Nurturing] and thus,

the duration of the skill is limited.
