Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 450: Chapter 450: The Four Shocked Shadows

One day later, a group of people arrived in Konoha.

"Ok?"

"Why… have the walls of Konoha changed?!"

Ohnoki's voice was filled with surprise as he gazed at the tall, thick stone walls in front of him.

For years, Konoha's walls had been made of wood—symbolic of the village's resilience and history. But they had always been vulnerable to more powerful opponents. The new stone walls were a stark contrast, now exuding an imposing, almost ancient feel, as if they were part of a fortress built to withstand the greatest threats.

"This is a newly built wall. Please, come in," Namikaze Minato greeted them with a calm smile as the gates opened wide.

The group stepped into Konoha, and what they saw immediately left them stunned.

The entire area within sight was taken up by expansive training grounds. Each field was large and well-equipped, with hundreds of ninjas—mostly Chunin and Jounin—practicing various combat techniques. The training grounds were full of energy and purpose, with the ninjas clearly focused on improving their skills.

At every training ground, pharmaceutical supplies were being used in conjunction with the training, allowing for maximized efficiency. The presence of medical teams on standby highlighted Konoha's serious approach to the well-being of its shinobi.

"Is this... really training?" Ohnoki asked, taken aback. "Such scale, such resources… I've never seen anything like it."

"Should we observe their training, or should we eat first?" Namikaze Minato asked casually, looking at the group. "Or would you like something brought to you?"

The pride in his voice was unmistakable as he watched their reactions.

"Just eat something here," Goju Yagura replied, still taking in the scene. "I want to see how Konoha trains. By the way, once the alliance's special training camp is established, will it also follow this method?"

Yagura's words hinted at his genuine curiosity and interest in learning from Konoha's methods. The village's efficiency and discipline were impressive, and it didn't take long for him to express his admiration.

"No, this is just the regular daily training method," Namikaze Minato explained. "The training at the special camp will be much tougher and more intense. Of course, it will also come with better treatment. And we will ensure the best medical care for all participants."

Minato glanced toward Reiki. "Right, Reiki?"

However, after Minato's words, no one responded for a good ten seconds.

"Hokage… Reiki, he…" Kushina spoke up, pointing to the training ground. There, in the midst of the activity, was none other than Reiki, the renowned medical ninja.

"Ah, this guy..." Minato chuckled awkwardly. "Well, look at our medical ninjas. They're all so energetic."

He continued, half-joking, "You know, medical ninjas are under a lot of pressure here in Konoha. If they don't keep up, they won't even get missions. And if they do accept missions, they might end up getting treated by Reiki himself."

Kral, who had already witnessed Reiki's impressive skills, nodded in acknowledgment of Minato's words. It was clear to him that Reiki was an influential presence in Konoha.

At that moment, the training grounds continued to buzz with activity. The ninjas, young and old, were focused on their training, paying no attention to the high-ranking visitors from the other villages.

As midday arrived, a group of Konoha shinobi noticed the presence of the visiting Kage.

"Is that Tsuchikage Onoki? The Third Raikage, the Fourth Kazekage, and the Fourth Mizukage!" one of them whispered. "Hokage-sama is here too?"

"But… why are they watching us train?" another wondered.

However, the curiosity didn't last long. Konoha's current resources and training methods were more important to the ninjas than the visiting Kage. After all, their focus was on improving and ranking higher for better rewards and resources.

"Is this the training in Konoha now?" Ohnoki muttered, his confidence from earlier completely deflated. The genin in Konoha were already as strong as his Chunin, and the sheer number of them was staggering. He couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the scale of Konoha's training system.

The Third Raikage, though silent, couldn't help but acknowledge Konoha's power. His village had been quietly developing, but to see Konoha's strength displayed so openly was a stark reminder of just how far ahead they were.

Rasa and Goju Yagura, eager to learn, had already moved toward the training grounds to observe. They were even taking notes, absorbed in the methods Konoha employed.

Namikaze Minato, as the host, simply stood aside with a smile, watching his guests' reactions with quiet satisfaction.

Later, in the evening, after a full day of observing, most of the training sessions had wrapped up. The genin returned to their homes to rest, ready for another day of rigorous practice.

"We've seen enough for today," Minato said as he led the group through the village streets. "If you don't mind, we can visit Konoha's orphanage next."

Ohnoki, who had been impacted by everything he'd seen so far, spoke up. "I'd like to visit the orphanage, if that's okay. After all, Konoha's power has been laid bare for us. I need to balance my thoughts a little."

"Sure," Minato replied. "Reiki, take them to the orphanage. It'll be the last stop of the day. Afterward, someone will escort you to rest."

With that, Minato excused himself, his day with the visiting Kage coming to a close. There were still matters to attend to in the village, and he needed to focus on them.

As the Kage visited the orphanage, their minds were heavy with the day's revelations. They had witnessed Konoha's strength firsthand, and it had left an impression none of them would easily forget.
