Chapter 221: Chapter 221: Obito Saves the Queen
Chapter 221: Obito Saves the Queen
---
"Those enchanting eyes again, huh? Hmph, I acknowledge you, but your art is nowhere near Haneda Bro's level! Hmm!"
Deidara struggled to break free, but it was futile. Reluctantly, he admitted to Obito's "art."
"Of course! All my genjutsu was taught by Haneda himself."
Obito's tone carried a hint of pride. He tugged Deidara's sleeve and smiled.
"Let's go, Deidara. I'll treat you to some dango."
"Okay, Obito-senpai!" Deidara, coincidentally hungry, agreed without hesitation.
In the tower, only Haneda, Minato, and Kakashi remained, exchanging awkward glances.
Haneda was the first to break the silence.
"Ahem... It seems some details about the future are unavoidable and will be revealed."
"However, Deidara is a rogue ninja from Iwagakure. He doesn't know much about Konoha's situation," Haneda explained.
Minato smiled and added, "After we handle the people from six years ago, I'll erase everyone's memories."
"Even mine?"
"That depends on your decision. I won't stop you," Minato replied, shaking his head.
He couldn't help but feel that Haneda's strength was unfathomable. Minato's sensory ninjutsu, passed down from the Second Hokage, could detect enemy chakra from dozens of kilometers away. Yet, when applied to Haneda, he felt nothing. It was as though Haneda was an ordinary person standing before him.
"So, what's the plan now, Minato-sensei?" Kakashi asked, steering the conversation back to business.
Haneda, however, seemed distracted. He enjoyed the camaraderie of the moment, knowing that once their mission was completed, the bond would inevitably dissolve.
Without hesitation, Minato declared, "First, we'll reveal the truth to Queen Sara of Roran. Then, we'll overthrow Mukade's regime."
"For that, we'll need the queen's cooperation. Only she can control the Ryumyaku."
"Well, actually..."
Haneda stopped himself. He could also control the Ryumyaku's chakra, perhaps even better than the queen herself.
But he wanted to spend more time with Obito and Kakashi.
"Let's go. Time to execute the mission," Haneda said decisively.
"The celebration organized by Mukade will start soon. That'll be his cue to make a move," Minato added, producing a kunai of Flying raijin and twirling it on his finger.
"You know what this is, right? If you need me, I'll be there in an instant."
"What about Obito?" Haneda asked.
"Don't worry. I've placed my Flying Raijin seal on him. I'll be there immediately if he's in danger," Minato assured him with a smile.
Haneda wasn't actually worried about Obito's safety. He simply wanted to stay by Obito's side. However, he couldn't bring himself to decline Minato's suggestion, especially with Kakashi watching him expectantly.
"Fine, let's go. I've also left a Flying Raijin seal with Deidara," Haneda said.
"You know Flying Raijin too?" Minato asked in surprise.
"Not really. It's just a basic skill around here." Haneda smiled, glancing at Kakashi.
"Wait, even me?" Kakashi was skeptical. He didn't think he could master the Flying Raijin technique. After all, his talent in spatial manipulation barely compared to Haneda's.
Hold on...
Haneda had mastered Minato's Flying Raijin?!

**Roran's Tower – Queen Sara's Residence**
At that moment, Mukade entered Queen Sara's room uninvited.
"Your Majesty, what are you doing?"
"Your people eagerly await your presence. To honor you and your mother's creation of this beautiful ancient town—Roran—they need you to stand before them with a smile."
Sara wiped away her tears, nodded, and replied, "Yes, Minister Mukade."
Dressed in an elegant ceremonial outfit, Sara stepped onto the tower's balcony, overlooking the entire city.
The dazzling lights and beautiful decorations came into view, accompanied by festive music echoing in the air.
Below the tower, a crowd jostled to catch a glimpse of the queen, singing her praises.
Suddenly, a hand silently pushed Sara off the balcony.
The crowd continued to cheer, oblivious to the fact that their queen had been shoved.
A large white bird soared past the tower, with Obito aboard. He managed to catch Sara in mid-air.
It was his first close interaction with a woman. Startled, Obito immediately pushed Sara away and exclaimed, "I didn't mean to catch you! Don't tell anyone, especially Haneda or that idiot Kakashi!"
Sara, utterly baffled, stared at Obito. Shouldn't she be the one scolding him for acting indecently? Why was he the one disassociating himself so quickly?
Deidara, piloting the bird, descended to Haneda's location.
"Hey, Obito-senpai, we're here!"
"Oh, right!" Obito turned back and sternly warned Sara, "Just forget what happened, okay? Don't spread this around."
"I, Uchiha Obito, am a man of deep feelings. I'd never get involved romantically with another girl!"
Haneda suddenly appeared behind Obito and whispered, "I saw everything, Obito."
"You! Weren't you with Minato-sensei and that idiot Kakashi?!" Obito's voice carried both shock and embarrassment.
Haneda laughed, "Don't worry, I won't tell Rin."
Although Obito had no chance with Rin anymore, Haneda knew how much Obito cared about these things.
"Haneda Bro, you're here! Can I finally show off my art now? Hmm!" Deidara eagerly asked, looking at the crowd and the modern tower, itching to blow something up.
"Not yet. There'll be plenty of chances for you to demonstrate your art later," Haneda replied dismissively.
He glanced at Sara, then turned his attention back to Obito.
"You really don't have to be so uptight about these things, Obito."
"Rin wouldn't mind," he added.
Obito fidgeted and muttered, "I know... She's the kindest, most wonderful girl in the world. But I... I can't. I only want to be good to her."
"Tch." Haneda rolled his eyes. Expecting anything but romance from this love-struck fool was pointless.
Glancing at the sky, Haneda casually said, "How about some training this afternoon?"
"Are you serious, Haneda? We're in the middle of a mission! Did you forget the basics of being a ninja?" Obito scolded loudly.
At that moment, Minato used Flying Raijin to appear beside them.
After a brief look at Obito and Haneda, he approached Sara and began explaining Mukade's schemes and the truth about the Ryumyaku.
Sara's voice was filled with protests and disbelief as she argued that Mukade wouldn't harm her and that she wasn't a puppet.
Haneda had no particular fondness for the queen and didn't care to involve himself in her matters. Instead, he continued chatting with Obito about their past misadventures.
Before long, Kakashi arrived with a group of Roran citizens, who exposed Mukade's crimes.
When Kakashi severed several chakra threads and brought in puppets created by Mukade, Sara finally had no choice but to accept the truth.
At that moment, Minato decided to confront Mukade and seal the Ryumyaku.
