Naruto: Tenseigan Eye

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Konoha Hospital, Education Department.

Tsunade sat in a chair, legs crossed casually, holding application papers as she curiously studied Shinki's unique eyes.

"Hyuga Shinki, you left your ninja team due to blood degeneration and applied to join the medical department for training. Do you want to become a medical ninja?"

"Yes, I want to become a medical ninja to find a treatment for the blood disease," Shinki explained, giving his reasons.

Throughout the ninja world, medical ninjas were always scarce, even in Konoha, which highly valued their training.

Tsunade was pleased that someone wanted to join the medical department voluntarily. The only disappointment was that Shinki, originally from the Hyuga clan, had been afflicted with a blood disease.

Tsunade pointed out, "Can you tell me more about your eyes?"

She was intrigued. Shinki's eyes were unlike others suffering from blood degeneration.

The azure pupils, with a black center, resembled a bright blue star, mysterious and captivating.

In response to Tsunade's question, Shinki calmly said, "I was injured on a mission. During recovery, my eyes became sensitive to light, and my vision blurred. After treatment, the bloodline trait began to degenerate."

Most believed Shinki's Byakugan was degenerating, but in truth, this so-called degeneration was evolution.

This story began before Shinki's unexpected journey.

He and his best friend were engrossed in a Naruto mobile game. The game's first three days included a special recharge promotion: spend 648 ryo for an epic lottery spin, with high chances for rare items.

Shinki decided to invest and struck gold on his first try, drawing the Tenseigan.

Just as he was about to boast to his friend, he felt dizzy, his vision went black, and he collapsed onto the sofa, unconscious.

When he awoke, Shinki found himself transported to the world of Naruto.

As his condition improved and the first stage of the Tenseigan's emergence passed, Shinki withdrew from his ninja team, citing blood degeneration, and applied to the medical department to study.

"I approve your application. You'll start tomorrow. Put aside your concerns about the blood disease and study seriously," Tsunade instructed.

"Yes, Tsunade-sama," Shinki said.

With his application approved, Shinki exhaled in relief.

His reason for joining the medical department was straightforward: he didn't want to risk his life for the Hyuga clan or the so-called Will of Fire. As a medical ninja working at Konoha Hospital, he would be exempt from family orders and village missions.

Medical ninjas earned well and had secure, stable jobs.

After leaving Konoha Hospital, Shinki purchased non-fading paint, drawing supplies, and paper before heading home.

Unlike other clans, the Hyuga estate was organized in an unusual manner: with the main family's compound at the center, surrounded by the residences of the branch family leaders, fanning out in circles. The lower a member's status, the more distant their home was from the center.

Shinki's home was in one of the more remote areas.

Once inside, Shinki set down his purchases and went to the bathroom with a bottle of green paint.

When he removed his forehead protector, his forehead appeared dyed green. The caged bird curse seal had vanished after the first stage of the Tenseigan. The mark now on his forehead was self-drawn with a paint pen.

But the paint he had been using faded too quickly. Hence, he bought a non-fading type and drawing materials to pretend he was learning to paint.

The Tenseigan required three stages of development, during which Shinki couldn't use its powers. During each stage, he had to stay hidden in a dark room until it passed.

Thankfully, his "blood disease" provided a plausible explanation.

The clan believed him, as bloodline degeneration wasn't unheard of in the Hyuga.

Shinki, however, cared little for the opinions of the Hyuga clan. Their corruption, darkness, and inequity meant they didn't deserve his loyalty.

Once he became a medical ninja, he planned to move out of the clan estate.

Not caring about others' opinions didn't mean he would accept subservient treatment. He carefully painted the caged bird seal on his forehead. Satisfied, he snapped his fingers. "Perfect!"

With his disguise complete, Shinki stepped into the yard for training. He disregarded the clan's traditional gentle fist techniques.

From now on, he needed to focus on fine chakra control, essential for becoming a medical ninja. Once his Tenseigan's development was complete, he'd have the power to challenge the main family's authority, rendering the gentle fist technique irrelevant.

While tree climbing and water walking were easy for him, they were merely the basics of chakra control. True medical ninjutsu required more dedication.

The next morning, Shinki packed a lunch, notebooks, and pens, then headed to Konoha Hospital. The medical department was part of the hospital, so he just needed to wait there for Tsunade's instructions.

Before long, Tsunade appeared, yawning, her hair disheveled.

"Read these books, then tell me your current chakra control level. I'm too tired to teach right now," she said before falling asleep at her desk.

Tsunade is going to teach me herself? Shinki hadn't expected that.

At this time, Tsunade wasn't yet a Sannin, just an accomplished medical ninja.

The books she provided were for beginners, perfect for Shinki. He sat in a corner, set down his bag, and started reading.

The first sections introduced medical ninjutsu, followed by detailed chakra control techniques and standard levels.

Tree climbing and water walking were basic skills.

"Hm." Shinki realized he had already met the basic requirements for a medical ninja. It seemed that after the first stage of the Tenseigan, his chakra control had improved significantly and was still getting better.

The Tenseigan's power enhanced him in numerous ways.

He resisted the urge to wake Tsunade and continued reading.

Morning passed unnoticed as Shinki read, while Tsunade slept soundly. Fortunately, there were no serious cases that morning, so Tsunade wasn't needed.

Despite her restful sleep, her posture was anything but graceful, with a drool spot forming on the desk.

Shinki's lips twitched at the sight.

Tsunade-sama, some decorum, please?

If only I had a camera, he mused, I'd capture this for her "blackmail" photo collection.
