Chapter 13: Chapter 13:- Left eye(Rewrite)
Kenshin found himself in a strange, empty space. His surroundings were void, but in front of him, a single object caught his eye. "What the... where am I? And why is my here PC here?" He muttered, cautiously stepping toward it.
As he approached, Danzo's picture flickered on the screen. Kenshin frowned. "So this is Danzo's mind... or maybe it's just my subconscious projecting this? Instead of something traditional like a library of memories, my brain turned it into a computer." He clicked through a few files but didn't open any right away, scanning their titles.
One caught his attention—Itachi's face as the file icon. Hesitant, he clicked on it. Instantly, he was bombarded with detailed records of the Uchiha massacre, all from Danzo's perspective. His stomach churned, but before he could dwell on it, he found himself back in the real world.
Akane noticed the shift in his expression. "What's wrong? Weren't you going to use your left eye's ability on him?"
Kenshin blinked, realizing time had moved differently in that space. "It works like Tsukuyomi," he muttered under his breath. "Time inside doesn't flow the same." Steeling himself, he activated his jutsu again, diving back into the strange mental landscape.
This time, he avoided opening files, instead letting his eyes drift over their titles. He spent longer scanning them, trying to get a sense of what information was hidden in Danzo's twisted mind. Then he saw a file with Hiruzen Sarutobi's face.
Curiosity gnawed at him. He opened it.
His eyes widened in sheer horror. "OH MY GOD! MY EYES!" he screamed internally, recoiling from the sight of Hiruzen in... a compromising position. Kenshin slammed the file shut and was immediately thrown out of Danzo's mind again.
He gagged. 'What the hell did I just see? Is that how Danzo saw him? No wonder why he's single at his age.'
He collected himself, forcing down the disgust. "I'm only able to see one file at a time... and I'm nearly out of chakra." His vision blurred, blood trickling from his left eye as he fell to his knees in pain.
Akane rushed to him, worry etched in her face. "What happened?!"
"My left eye... it's mind reading, sort of," Kenshin said through labored breaths. "I can enter his mind and retrieve information, but only bits and pieces. And it takes a lot of chakra... though still less than my right eye."
Before Akane could respond, Kakashi, Guy, and a few other Jonin arrived. Kakashi's sharp gaze landed on Danzo's unconscious, armless body. "His arms... they're gone! What did you do?!"
Kenshin winced as Akane helped him to his feet. "I'll explain later, Kakashi-san. Just take him to the Hokage for Inoichi to extract his crimes. I knocked him out, but don't underestimate him."
Akane handed Kakashi Danzo's severed right arm, which still had five Sharingan embedded in it. "These Sharingan... he took them from the Uchiha after the massacre. He managed to destroy half, but I stopped him before he could destroy the rest."
Kakashi's eyes widened at the sight of the arm. He wasn't the only one—the other Jonin stared, horrified by the grotesque reality of Danzo's crimes.
"Shisui's eye... I also retrieved it," Akane continued, carefully placing it into her pouch. "I'm going to keep it until we can bury it with him."
Kakashi remained silent, processing the whirlwind of information. The past few days had been nothing short of chaos—first, Kenshin came to the village, seeking help for his dying mother.
When they failed to save her, he awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan and brought her back from death. Then, the shocking revelation that Danzo had kidnapped them, and now this—the stolen Sharingan, Danzo's defeat, and Shisui's eye.
"Kai, take Danzo to the Hokage," Kakashi ordered quietly. "I'll follow with these two."
As Guy and the other Jonin left, Kakashi turned to Kenshin and Akane, placing a hand on each of their shoulders. "Before we go, I need to know something... about your Mangekyo abilities. I won't tell anyone, but I need to understand."
Kenshin and Akane exchanged uncertain glances. After a long pause, they nodded. Trusting Kakashi felt like the right decision.
Akane spoke first. "My right eye causes the target's body to decay—no healing jutsu or technique can stop it. My left eye... it creates what I think is an invisible hand. I can use it to attack, but only once."
Kenshin, still wincing from the pain, followed. "My right eye heals injuries. If the target's heart has stopped, i can revive them as long as their brain is active." He took a breath, steadying himself. "My left eye is... limited mind reading. But I can't pull too much information at once."
Kakashi nodded, his face softening with a small smile. "Thank you. I appreciate your trust."
Akane tilted her head, a sly grin forming. "By the way, Kakashi-sensei... since we told you about our Mangekyo, it's only fair you share yours."
Kakashi raised an eyebrow but didn't resist. "I do have the Mangekyo Sharingan. Mine allows me to use a space-time ninjutsu. I can teleport objects or people to a separate dimension, though I can't access that space myself."
With that, the three of them headed toward the Hokage's office. The weight of the night pressed on them, but at least for now, they had clarity.
