Naruto: Paws and Whiskers

Chapter 21: Chapter 21

After couple minutes Shiranui Sensei returned and picked up the little black cat "Inuzuka Hana, your family knows a lot about ninja beasts. Has anything like this happened before?" and the whole group of students gazed at those innocent and watery eyes, finding them so cute.

The students whose performance was poor still felt dejected, their transformation skills were not even as good as a cat's.

In the past, this might have been an insult, but now it was an indisputable fact. If it weren't for physical limitations, this cat's transformation would probably be more perfect.

"It hasn't happened before, but it may have something to do with the biology of the ninja dog. This cat's background is still unknown. Basically, even among known ninja cats this is not ordinary." Hana replied.

She wasn't just guessing; she had ample evidence. As a ninja dog, Haimaru was much larger than a cat and was more than half a year older.

It stood to reason that no matter how hard Haimaru fought, he couldn't lose to the little black cat - and it would still be a disastrous defeat that would leave a psychological shadow.

Therefore, this black cat must have mastered a ninjutsu that could harden his hair and even turn it into needles.

Now, with the transformation jutsu... The ninja dogs of the Inuzuka clan could also transform, but their transformation usually required the owner to stack their chakra with the ninja dog, allowing the owner to control the chakra of the ninja beast to finally achieve the activation of the transformation jutsu. The ninja dogs themselves did not have this ability.

Hana bowed slightly, then sat down without saying much about the little black cat. In the field of ninja cats, Uchiha was the expert.

Abit away, an Uchiha Clan member kept staring at Takeshi, his expression uncertain, with unknown thoughts running through his head.

"I know," Shiranui Sensei thought for a moment, then put the little black cat down.

Takeshi quickly slipped back to Rin. 'Certainly, coming back home, I am bound to be scolded, but compared to the points gained, Abit of scolding is nothing.'

Originally, Takeshi was still far away from enough points for buying Human speech. but this time, due to his performance directly earned him nearly a thousand points.

"The total points are now more than 2,100. No need to hesitate. Start purchasing!" Takeshi was satisfied when he saw the item "Human speech" in the ability column.

'Being able to speak was important. For example, the fact that I hate Guy would have been solved long ago if I could speak.'

How could it take such a strange combination of circumstances to make Rin understand? It was not the only Summon Beast and ninja beast that could master language in Konoha, but the talking ninja beasts were generally of higher origin - such as Mt. Myoboku.

However, even if he didn't have the ability to speak, others still knew that he was high-class and had a strong lineage.

No one would suspect that the enemy was using a ninja cat as a spy, especially a kitten that was only half a year old. He was still too young and couldn't remember much after all.

Takeshi didn't try to speak, but after buying the ability from the system, he could feel some strange changes in his throat.

As long as he thought about it, he would be able to speak human words immediately. If he spoke directly now, he should be able to earn a lot of points, right? He had this idea in his mind, but after careful consideration, he temporarily gave up the idea.

Orochimaru hasn't run away at the moment. In order to prevent the crazy ninja scientist with great imagination from having the absurd idea that there was a fourth holy land (for summon beasts) in the world, he felt that he should not be too suicidal.

Takeshi made up his mind and lay down on the table to take a nap.

Due to being distracted by him, Obito had to take the test again. In a panic, he almost failed. Fortunately, his performance was barely passing.

Shiranui Sensei gave him a passing score based on his two performances. But Obito himself didn't know that. He looked pale, as if he had lost hope in life.

Kurenai covered her mouth and snickered for a few seconds before she said, "Don't be afraid, Obito. You've already passed."

"Don't comfort me. I obviously performed perfectly the first time, but the result... the result..." Obito almost cried.

He finally performed extremely well, but was interrupted by Takeshi and had to take the test again. How tragic.

Takeshi felt that he had gone a little too far, but when he saw that his panel points jumped from two hundred to three hundred, he instantly felt no guilt.

'In order to make me stronger, Obito, your sacrifice is appreciated.' Takeshi thought in his heart. Then, the little black cat stretched out his paws, trying to comfort Obito, but at this time, the little Obito was already in a state of disbelief.

He was afraid when the black cat moved his hands and immediately whispered vigilantly, "What do you want to do ..." Takeshi was stunned for a moment and retracted his paw.

"Obito, he probably wanted to comfort you, so he reached out," Rin explained.

"Is that so?" From the moment he met this cat, Obito felt that he was a bit unlucky and was really scared of being punished.

If he wanted to write, he would definitely have written a compendium of sufferings due to this cat with deep feelings.

"Actually, Takeshi is not bad; he just likes to be naughty," Kurenai put in a good word for Takeshi. This made Takeshi more determined not to reveal anything about his ability to speak for the time being - if he could speak, maybe no one would be able to speak for him.

Certainly, he knew very well that thinking about himself from Obito's side was indeed quite irritating, just like those naughty children he encountered in his previous life; he was just a child, no need to take it seriously, and so on. "But who told me that this damn system that made me bully others to get points? I'm desperate too!"

Takeshi used his paws to comfort Obito, making him look cute, and finally dispelled the good little guy's anger.

While leaving, before Rin could take Takeshi out to teach him a lesson, a bunch of people gathered around.

Hana took the lead, followed closely by Yamashiro Aoba and a boy from the Aburame clan, followed by many classmates, all of whom were very excited.

Needless to say, the three people in the front were there to study Takeshi, while the people in the back were just watching.

"Hana, what are you..."

"Don't worry; I'm just going to observe him." Hana excitedly came to the table, ignoring Takeshi, who was struggling to escape, and carefully picked him up and turned him over to check.

Kurenai frowned slightly and said with some displeasure, "Why are you still using chakra?"

"Uh," Rin looked at Kurenai, but then looked at Hana. She hadn't noticed it before, but upon closer inspection, Hana did use chakra.

"Sorry; I just want to prevent him from fighting back in self-defense. You may not know that he has the ability to harden its hair like needles and then stab others," Hana apologized immediately.

"The ability to make hair hard," Kurenai looked over in shock.

At this time, the people around him came closer. Takeshi was a little unhappy. Was he a clown that everyone is watching him like that? He sharpened his claws in displeasure, then glared at Haimaru.

Haimaru was stunned and confused for a moment, then turned around and barked loudly at the onlookers, as if he would pounce on them if they got closer.

Hana was stunned for a moment, turned around, and noticed the situation, frowned and said, "Why are you all so close? Stay away."

As the eldest in the class and having more dogs than others when fighting, no one really dared to challenge her, so everyone took a few steps back to make the space in between bigger.
