"Let me see if I understand this right... You want Tsuna as your fiancée...?" Tsunade asked, looking at the two young people in front of her. After their conversation by the river, Minato had put on his clothes, and they returned to the camp with Minato using his teleportation to avoid being seen by the still euphoric crowd. After all, he had something more important to do.

Thus, he went to a tent where Jiraiya was with Tsuna and other leaders. He said he wanted to talk with Tsunade and Dan, who were also present. The leaders complied without any issue, seeing Minato holding hands with Tsuna, which pretty much gave them away as Tsuna's parents raised an eyebrow at Minato.

That's when he made his declaration to both of them, expressing his desire to bind their relationship to the future, with the intention of marrying and starting a family.

"Yes, I intend to marry your daughter," Minato spoke with a confident tone.

"..." Tsuna blushed on the side while still holding Minato's hand.

"..." Tsunade seemed to form a vein on her forehead, arms still crossed.

Dan, however, couldn't hold it in. "Bff! Hahahahaha!" He started laughing, as if this was no secret to him. As a father, he already knew his daughter's feelings for the boy, and how could he refuse after Minato risked his life and performed a miracle to save Tsuna?

"Do you know what you're saying, kid?!" Tsunade advanced, grabbing Minato by the collar, being more aggressive and protective than Dan.

Minato didn't mind her grip as he looked at her with a firm gaze. "Yes, I know exactly what I'm saying, and I'm set on it. I'm going to make Tsuna my wife," he said.

"You think you can protect her?! You think you can have my daughter that easily?" Tsunade continued with a harsh tone, not accepting mere words.

"Mother!" Tsuna exclaimed, dissatisfied with her mother's overprotection. "I've made up my mind too. I'm going to marry Minato!" she declared firmly.

"You can't be serious?! Since when are you so rebellious, wanting to run away from home with a man!" Tsunade said, grabbing her daughter's collar with her other hand.

Minato and Tsuna remained resolute, unwilling to be lifted by Tsunade, who wasn't happy to hear her daughter would be getting married after almost dying.

"Calm down, Tsunade..." Dan spoke this time in a surprisingly firm tone. So firm that Minato was taken aback by the man standing up to his wife so directly.

'He's definitely going to get hit...' Minato thought, knowing how cheerful Dan usually was.

"I think you're right... sorry..." Tsunade suddenly spoke in a low tone, releasing both young people's clothes.

'What?!' Minato couldn't believe it, seeing that Dan had a kind of control over Tsunade that he hadn't expected.

"Well... but this is still sudden. You already want to leave home like this, Tsuna... I already tolerated you dyeing part of your hair... but this is a bit much," Tsunade pouted, clearly not wanting her daughter to leave home so young.

"I think they want to get engaged, Tsunade... Tsuna and Minato are still young for that, aren't they?" Dan asked, looking at Minato.

"Yes... I intend to marry Tsuna when I'm 18. Is that okay?" Minato said, wanting to be of legal age.

"18... that's 5 years away?! You intend to take my daughter in 5 years, brat?!" Tsunade exploded again with a dissatisfied tone.

"Mother! I love Minato, just like you have Dad, I have Minato, and it's natural for us to get married!" Tsuna spoke rebelliously.

"..." Tsunade didn't like those words but stayed silent.

"Did you expect anything different, Tsunade...? Look at them. The boy just saved our daughter; he's more than capable of taking care of our baby," Dan said.

"Father!" Tsuna didn't like being called a baby.

"I know, Dan... it's just..." Tsunade still didn't seem satisfied before pointing at Minato. "That boy... he's a womanizer!" she accused him.

"Womanizer...?" Minato raised an eyebrow at the accusation.

"You think I don't know how your teammates look at you? And besides... Kushina... you think I don't know about your relationship... How do you think you won't hurt my daughter with all those girls around!" Tsunade spoke, fire blazing in her eyes as she stared at Minato.

"That..." Now Minato was caught, as he had to explain his relationship with basically four girls. But before he could say anything, Tsuna took the initiative.

"I accept Minato having four wives, so that's not a problem!" Tsuna exclaimed, clutching Minato's arm.

"..." Minato just smiled while scratching his head, observing the reaction of the two.

"..." Tsunade.

"..." Dan.

Both were speechless, even Dan, who was supportive of Minato, raised an eyebrow at him.

"You... You... You..." Tsunade began to exclaim repeatedly, and Minato knew he couldn't stay there much longer.

"Let Jiraiya-sensei know I've gone north. I'll bring Tsuna later, goodbye." Minato said simply, before his future mother-in-law could explode at him, and he disappeared with Tsuna.

To the far north, Minato appeared with Tsuna by his side, while she remained dazed.

"Well... that was quite surprising." Tsuna murmured as she looked at Minato. "Where are we?" she asked.

"We're at Camp 12. This will keep your mother away for now. Hopefully, she calms down..." Minato commented.

"She'll understand... don't worry. What matters is that we're engaged." She said with genuine joy. "Does this make us a couple now?" she asked with a smile.

"I guess it does... But let's leave official talks for after the war," Minato said, and Tsuna didn't disagree.

"Now let's go see Mikoto and Hanabi..." Minato said, taking the initiative as they passed through the trees, heading towards the camp, sensing Mikoto and Hanabi on the other side.

"Hey, isn't that Minato?" someone exclaimed as soon as they saw him. Since they were aware of the southern operation and even Minato's contributions, they couldn't help but be astonished at his appearance there.

Minato sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to stay hidden for long, especially in this camp, where he was the commander's student.

Thus, Minato had to explain the situation as more and more ninjas gathered around him, discussing his contributions and courage in Suna. They expressed how happy they were that he had been rescued in the end and how he had made history, becoming the hero of the war with his actions.

He left the group after a short while, before the crowd grew too large, and Minato took Tsuna to the forest on the other side of the camp. As he approached, he saw Mikoto and Hanabi running towards the camp after hearing from the sentinels that Minato had returned.

"Minato!!!" Mikoto and Hanabi exclaimed, excited as they ran to him, throwing themselves into a sincere hug. "You're okay... thank goodness!"

Minato was surprised by this, returning the embrace with Tsuna standing behind them. He felt Mikoto and Hanabi shed tears, truly happy that their companion was back and safe.

"You're alive, you idiot... What were you thinking, poisoning yourself to go to Suna?!" Mikoto exclaimed with an annoyed tone, but it was clear she was mad at herself for not being strong enough to help a precious friend.

"I'm just glad you're okay... Are you hurt...?" Hanabi asked, looking over Minato, searching for any injuries so she could use her healing jutsu.

"I'm fine..." Minato stepped back from the hug, touching both girls' shoulders. "But I appreciate the concern. I hope while I was down south, you two got stronger..." Minato said with a smile.

"Of course we did...! Why don't we go train, I'll show you the jutsu you taught me." Mikoto said with her proud Uchiha spirit.

"You know Minato is a level above us, right?" Hanabi commented, already accepting that Minato was now the strongest Jonin in the village, and they were still far behind.

"You don't have to say it. And why are you so quiet, Senju, after being saved like a damsel?" Mikoto teased Tsuna from behind them.

"You see... I was saved by Minato, he's my hero!" Tsuna now openly acted like a love-struck girl, clinging to his arm and looking at Mikoto with a teasing smile.

"What are you doing?!" Mikoto gritted her teeth, not liking that at all. Even though Tsuna didn't mention that they were engaged, knowing the girl also had feelings for Minato, she didn't hold back from teasing as much as she could.

"Hey, you two... Stop that and let's head to the training grounds." Minato spoke, trying to calm things down as they continued towards the training area, like in the old days—only missing Kushina.

Meanwhile, in the south, the mood in the hospital at Sunagakure was anything but cheerful. Sasori was being hugged by his mother, standing in a room where his father lay in bed after taking a direct hit from Shukaku. According to reports, it was Minato himself who threw him into the middle of the attack as Sasori's father tried to retreat.

"Minato..." Sasori would never forget that name.

He had thought he could turn that spy into a puppet... He had been waiting for it ever since the spy was discovered, but instead, he had been the one caught when the Kazekage found out about Minato and threw him into the fight, losing in a way he didn't even understand.

Sasori was frustrated, knowing that he had been used, traded for the antidote with his grandmother. He realized he was weak...

'This war, this village... why should I stay tied to them...' Sasori had no interest in the war and was beginning to think about how he would leave the village. 'I must get stronger... and also specialize in fuuinjutsu, to start placing seals on certain people so I can do what I want in this village before leaving it...' He murmured internally as he thought about his plan to turn someone strong into a puppet. His parents and grandmother weren't on the list... but someone who wore a certain hat might be interesting to him.

It was at that moment that Kai woke up, shaking his head in confusion.

"Hm? Kai!!" While Sasori was lost in his thoughts, his mother exclaimed as she approached Sasori's father.

"Hm...? Now I remember... I was fighting that intruder and then lost consciousness..." Kai murmured as he was hugged by his wife, and Sasori stepped closer.

"You were tricked by a brat, Kai. You're getting too distracted..." The door opened at that moment as Chiyo entered, a smile on her face, happy to see her son.

"Mother..." Kai murmured, embarrassed.

Seeing this, she smiled. "I see you're feeling shy... but don't blame yourself, that brat caught all of us off guard, even the Kazekage wasn't spared... We'll be at a disadvantage in this war now, with no poison left, and it will take me months to develop another one..." she said before continuing. "The Kazekage was quite angry with me... but I didn't care about saving my family... so I told him to go to hell. Hahahahahahaha!" Chiyo responded, laughing while her son sighed, knowing that his mother had really told Kazekage-sama to go to hell.

"Now that you're awake and seem fine... I'm going to check on Rasa. After all, he was also injured by that brat. Hahahahaha!" Chiyo said as she began to leave the room to see another patient.

I was going to skip ahead a few months in the end, but I decided to talk about it in the next chapter instead, wanting to write a bit about Sasori's family and his motivations to leave the village in the future, after killing the Kazekage, as it happened in the canon.

Now the war is going to pick up speed, and the events with Kushina's kidnapping will begin in the next chapter.
