Chapter 337: Chapter 337: Lightning Bombs Fly Without Warning

The Uchiha were laughing—but why?

Kaguya Hōmei, towering over two meters tall, advanced towards them, exuding an overwhelming presence. His eyes, filled with battle lust and a hint of madness, locked firmly on Takuya.

"I thought I'd have to hunt you all down in the Land of Bears, but here you are, coming straight to me. This is perfect."

"Hehehe…"

Hōmei let out a sinister laugh, staring at Takuya in a way that made his skin crawl. It was as if a lecherous old man was eyeing a pretty girl.

"Hehehe…"

The Kaguya Clan members followed their leader's cue, echoing his laughter.

"What are they laughing about?" one of the Uchiha asked.

"Who knows? They're the crazy ones, not us," another replied.

Now it was the Uchiha who were puzzled. What on earth were these lunatics laughing at?

"Damn it! Stop staring, you creeps!"

No one would feel comfortable being stared at by over a hundred crazy people, eyes glinting with madness.

Takuya had no idea if this was the entire Kaguya Clan or just a portion of them, but gathering a hundred shinobi wasn't easy for any clan. If all these people were to die here today, it would be a massive blow to the Kaguya.

But did the Kaguya care? Not at all. They only sought an exhilarating fight.

They had caused no small amount of trouble in their pursuit of battle, to the point where even the other families in the Mist Village were fed up with them.

In the original story, these maniacs had even plotted rebellion against Yagura's rule. Unlike the Uchiha, they were blatant about it, openly discussing how to overthrow Yagura.

Yagura had finally had enough and decided to eliminate them for good, sending his forces to crush them.

"If you want to die so badly, I'll oblige."

And just like that, the Kaguya Clan was wiped out, leaving only Kimimaro, who was eventually taken in by Orochimaru. Kimimaro later died of his bloodline illness while fighting Gaara.

Against Kimimaro in his bone-weapon form, Gaara's absolute defense was like a joke—it was easily broken. If not for Kimimaro succumbing to his illness, Gaara might have met a heroic end that day.

Takuya formed a lightning bomb filled with violent, crackling chakra. With a flick of his wrist, he threw it towards the Kaguya.

"You like laughing so much?"

"Keep laughing. Let's see how long that lasts."

The instant the lightning bomb appeared, everyone felt the danger. Goosebumps rose across the battlefield, even among the Uchiha.

No one had time to react until Takuya hurled the lightning bomb.

"Watch out!"

The bomb came out of nowhere, giving Hōmei barely any time to dodge. Though he wasn't afraid to die, he wasn't eager to test the bomb's power on his own body either.

"Bone—"

Some of the Kaguya attempted to gather and use a defensive technique, but the speed of the lightning bomb left them no chance.

No one had expected Takuya to strike so suddenly, not even the Uchiha. They had still been trying to figure out why the Kaguya were laughing, and then, in the blink of an eye, Takuya had formed two lightning bombs and hurled them.

The techniques were almost instant.

"Boom!!!"

The beach erupted in a massive explosion, with sand flying everywhere, mingling with shattered pieces of flesh, organs, and bones.

"Fall back!"

The blast radius was too large, and Fugaku had to order his men to retreat. As they moved back, he couldn't help but glance at Takuya, who remained standing, unfazed, at the center of it all.

Instant jutsu, huh?

No wonder even Hanzo, the famed Salamander, had been wary of Takuya. This was more powerful than most S-rank jutsu—dangerous on a whole different level.

Most S-rank jutsu needed hand seals or preparation. But Takuya? He just charged up his chakra and let it fly.

The explosion echoed alongside screams of pain.

The lightning bomb had detonated close to them. Only a few managed to escape; most of the Kaguya Clan took a direct hit. None of them had expected Takuya to throw out an attack without even a warning—a "big move" right off the bat.

If Takuya could describe his feelings in words, it would be: "Eat this!"

And if he could, he'd probably have used the twisted expression of a certain pop star for emphasis.

Two craters remained on the sand, filled with scattered body parts. The surrounding area was littered with wounded Kaguya Clan members.

In mere moments, over a third of their forces were wiped out, and many were left injured.

"We must avoid conflict with him at all costs!!"

Otherwise, the Uchiha would be in deep trouble.

Seeing the Kaguya Clan's miserable state, Fugaku remembered his vision of the future, and his eyelid twitched uncontrollably.

This guy was just too dangerous.

Fugaku kept reminding himself that the Uchiha could not afford to make an enemy of Takuya. Luckily, he was wise enough to heed that warning instead of acting like Danzo, who always saw eliminating Takuya as the solution to everything.

Otherwise, the Uchiha would definitely be dragged into disaster.

"Kid, you've made me angry."

They hadn't even started properly fighting, and already a third of his men were down, with many others wounded. The Kaguya had died without even knowing what hit them.

Hōmei's face twisted in fury. He looked like a raging beast, his eyes burning with hatred.

"Sorry to upset you, but I'm feeling pretty great right now," Takuya replied, grinning. "What are you going to do about it?"

He honestly didn't understand where the Kaguya got the nerve to stare at him and laugh like that. What did they think they were—some kind of ancient cultivator?

The last guy who had looked at him like that was long dead.

"Dance of the Willows!"

Disregarding the deaths of his clansmen, Hōmei roared and charged forward. Bones sprouted from his head, hands, elbows, shoulders, back, knees, toes, and heels—anywhere that could be used as a weapon.

A walking weapon.

In this state, Kaguya shinobi were the bane of any taijutsu user. With spikes covering their entire body, getting close meant being impaled.

"Attack!!"

With their leader going after Takuya, the remaining Kaguya targeted the Uchiha. They roared as they charged, pulling out bones or letting bone spikes grow all over their bodies. They looked like monsters.

"Attack!!"

Facing these maniacs, the Uchiha didn't flinch. Under Fugaku's command, they activated their Sharingan, drew their weapons, and met the enemy head-on.

Even those without Sharingan joined the fight.

Madmen?

When it came to battle, the Uchiha were the real madmen. No enemy had ever made the Uchiha back down.

So what if they were taijutsu experts?

No way the Uchiha were going to fight on their terms.
