Chapter 443 What's your thought?
[Dear Reader,
I truly appreciate you taking the time to read this note and share your thoughts with me. Your feedback and support mean a great deal, and I value each and every one of you who has stuck with this story.
It's been a year since I started this novel, and I have poured my heart and soul into this novel. It's my first story, and it's truly my first love. I recognize that there have been shortcomings, especially in the beginning, but I believe my writing has evolved significantly over time. This growth has been a journey, and I am grateful for the lessons and improvements it has brought.
Recently, I have been contemplating whether to continue this story as it is or to rewrite it anew.... I am not considering discontinuing it or putting it on hiatus, as the story holds a special place in my heart.
However, I have noticed a decline in daily views, from 3-4k to now only 1-1.5k. This change has made me question if a fresh start might be beneficial.
If you prefer a new story, rest assured it will not follow the same plot but will feature the same characters and world settings. I am excited about the potential for new adventures and growth with these beloved characters.
However, if you prefer to continue with the current story, I am equally happy to do so.... but, You know... It can feel quite lonely when there is little response or engagement, but I am hopeful that this message will spark a conversation.
Truly lonely 🥹
Most of all, I know many left after the controversial 'R*pe' (Actually not) part involving his first wife, despite my explanations.
So, here I am... Hope you answer me properly]

Inside Duchess Mariel's Mansion, the atmosphere was tense, thick with anticipation and underlying unease.
Asher Eli smiled coldly as he examined the Soul Crystal of Lucian's son, his fingers tracing the delicate object. He then shifted his gaze to Scarlett, who wore a smug expression, exuding confidence as if she had orchestrated the entire situation flawlessly.
"What should we do with him?" Scarlett asked, her voice tinged with curiosity as she leaned on Eli's shoulder, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Well..." Eli began, a dangerous glint flickering in his eyes. He entertained the thought of inflicting torture upon Lucian's son, just as he had done to that child. In his mind, there should be no mercy for this man.
"Eli, calm down and think rationally. Whatever you decide to do to him, you must proceed with caution. Lucian wouldn't just sit idly by and wait for his son's demise," Mariel said with a stern and serious expression, her voice cutting through the tension.
Eli then turned his attention to Rose, who was watching him with a frown, her expression questioning and contemplative.
"What is it, Ms. Rose?" Eli asked, his curiosity piqued by her demeanour.
"Hmm... Just curious," Rose replied, her tone enigmatic.
"Go on..." Eli urged.
"I mean, your relationship with your sister..." Rose trailed off, but Eli understood her implication perfectly.
"Yeah, we're married," Eli said with a smile, his voice steady. Scarlett blushed slightly and proudly showed her ring finger to Rose, a gesture that spoke volumes.
Rose raised her eyebrows in surprise, her eyes widening as she glanced at Luna, who stood nearby with a strange, dark expression. Even though Luna already knew Eli was married to others, she couldn't help but feel a surge of possessiveness, a feeling she found hard to suppress.
'W-Wait? W-What the hell is happening to me?' Luna screamed inwardly, her eyes slowly returning to normal as she struggled with her emotions.
Eli, noticing Luna's inner turmoil, smiled with amusement. He then looked back at Rose and asked with genuine concern, "Will you be fine?"
"Well, it will be alright since Sentinel herself said to let you go," Rose responded, her smile reassuring but tinged with a hint of uncertainty.
The mention of 'Sentinel' brought an amused expression to Eli's face, and he asked, "How old is your Sentinel?"
Rose and Mariel exchanged puzzled glances, wondering why Eli would ask such a question. A powerful entity like Sentinel was undoubtedly older than anyone present in the room.
Seeing their incredulous expressions, Eli frowned and asked, "Have you guys seen Sentinel's face?"
They both shook their heads in denial, their curiosity now piqued.
Eli was taken aback. He thought for a moment, recalling that Sentinel had sealed herself, then nodded.
Seeing his intrigue, both ladies pressed further, "Did you see her face or something?"
Eli smirked cryptically and replied, "Yes, but it was something even I didn't expect."
This revelation only heightened everyone's curiosity. They all turned their gazes towards Eli, silently urging him to divulge more, but Eli simply said, "It's a secret between two adults."
"Tsk," everyone clicked their tongues in collective annoyance, frustrated by Eli's evasiveness.
Eli then refocused on the Soul Crystal and instructed Mariel to revive Lucian's son and treat him the same way they had treated the Leader of the Assassination, who was still alive, albeit barely.
With the immediate decision made, Eli, Mariel, and Rose turned their attention towards Luna, who stood there looking slightly overwhelmed.
Luna glanced nervously at Scarlett and Scylla, both of whom appeared somewhat surprised by the sudden shift in the room's atmosphere.
"There is no need to worry. No one will judge you, okay?" Eli said with a serious yet reassuring tone, his eyes conveying earnest sincerity.
Despite his words, Luna felt a wave of hesitation. She had opened up to Eli, but with Mariel and Rose having eavesdropped, she wasn't entirely sure what to say and now this....
Sensing her hesitation, Eli nodded thoughtfully and looked at Scylla and Scarlett. They seemed to expect him to ask them to leave, but to their surprise, Eli flatly stated,
"Her name is Aurora, mother of Luna."
A stunned silence filled the room.
Scylla tilted her head, confusion evident in her eyes. "...."
"What!!" Scarlett exclaimed, her voice a mixture of shock and disbelief. She turned to Mariel, who nodded solemnly, confirming the revelation. Then Scarlett looked at Luna... no, more accurately, Aurora.
"Mother's friend Aurora?" Scarlett asked, stepping forward to stand before Luna.
Aurora lowered her head and nodded silently, her demeanour heavy with unspoken emotions.
Without warning, Scarlett threw her arms around Aurora, hugging her tightly. "Thank you for being friends with my shitty mother!"
"Hey! I am not a shitty mother!" Mariel shouted back, her voice filled with annoyance.
"Yes, you are!" Scarlett retorted with a seriousness that made everyone laugh, including Aurora, who had been silent and sombre up until now.
"Haha... What's with you guys?" Aurora said, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes, her voice filled with newfound warmth.
Scylla, who had pieced together the situation from Eli, approached Aurora. She thought to herself, 'To think they'd go to such lengths...' She mumbled inwardly before embracing Aurora and saying,
"You will get all the love you need from my master. He would never abandon you."
Aurora's lips trembled as she nodded, looking at Eli with teary eyes, "Y-Yeah, I-I know..." Her voice broke with emotion.
