Chapter 339: "This is Su Han's dad, my husband." (3)
“Su Ran?”
“Ahem, are we done? Let’s head out then,” said Su Ran as she looked away from the separate bag of stuff.
“I can take these two bags and you take the other three. Will that work?” said Su Ran after she took a couple of the shopping bags.
After she had said that and before she could react, Lu Shao had already walked past her and took all 5 bags of stuff,
Why did that look somewhat familiar?
The image of her son carrying things for her normally popped into her mind.
The two were sure alike……
The grocery store was not far from Su Ran’s place but not close either.
The two had walked over there. Su Ran had planned on grabbed a taxi on their way back but, before she had a chance to grab a taxi, the two had already walked back to her building.
The two ran into Aunty Li coming downstairs on their way back.
She greeted Su Ran nicely when she ran into them.
“Ah, you are just now coming back, Su Ran?”
“Yeah, we went shopping at the grocery place.”
Su Ran had just finished saying that when she noticed Aunty Li looking at her with a look of surprise.
She was looking at Lu Shao with all that bags that he was carrying, to be precise.
“This……”
Su Ran started to talk before Aunty Li could ask.
“This is Su Han’s father.” Pausing, she added, “My husband.”
They got their marriage certificate already. He was now officially her husband.
Having said that, she ignored how colorful Aunty Li’s expression was. She dragged with her the complacent-looking Lu Shao and went upstairs.

“Do you need some help?” asked Su Ran as she stood in front of the kitchen, dazed.
It didn’t feel like that was her kitchen at all.
Su Ran had wanted to help out; unfortunately, Mr. Lu was adept at what he was doing that Su Ran didn’t see how she could help out.
Upon hearing that, Lu Shao paused a little.
He looked over at Su Ran and nodded. “Sure.
“Can you rinse out the vegetables?”
“Sure,” said Su Ran with a smile.
That was easy.
Besides, Su Ran had put a lot of thought into what she wanted for dinner.
The preparation for these dishes was very easy and rinsing them was even easier.
“Done.” After Su Ran was done with her task and handed them over to Lu Shao, she asked again, “Anything else?”
“I got the rest,” said Lu Shao after he took a look at the cleaver.
“Okay.
“Do you need an apron then?” asked Su Ran.
As amazing as his cooking was, Mr. Lu was apparently not one who cooked a lot. He was a little daze when he heard Su Ran’s question.
“You have that?”
“Yes.”
“Alright.”
“Hang on. Let me go and get it.”
Having said that, Su Ran turned around, walked into the living room, and pulled out the apron that was still in its original packaging.
She bought it the last time she went shopping with her son at the grocery store.
Even though they wouldn’t have a lot of chance to use something like this, but it was just too cute. As such, under her son’s I-don’t-think-that-we-will-need-it and you-are-just-wasting-money look, she tossed it into their shopping cart.
It had stayed in its packaging until today.
Su Ran hadn’t expected that Su Han’s dad would be the first one to utilize this apron.
Why did she find that somewhat exciting?
“I bought this at the supermarket previously. It’s brand new,” said Su Ran as she walked into the kitchen with the apron in hand.
Lu Shao turned his head slightly when he heard that and noticed the pink apron.
“Hmm, you know. This is mainly to prevent grease from getting onto your clothes when you cook,” said Su Ran looking as serious as she could.
Having said that, she even added, “You don’t have any change of clothes at home right now.”
Nobody knew what was so great about what Su Ran had said but Lu Shao seemed to be good spirited after she had said that.
“Okay.”
Even Su Ran was a bit surprised when she heard Lu Shao’s response.
