My Movie Queen: Chapter 92
Melody went out again to buy some snacks, just to give her friends some time. On the way back to the park, Melody saw Alice walking towards her, smiling as if nothing had happened.
"Are you going to buy something?" Melody asked.
"No, it's just you're taking your time too long, so I followed you. You buy so many," Alice said, taking the drinks and snacks from Melody's hands.
Melody didn't let Alice take everything, but Alice insisted, "You might be walking for too long and must be tired. Let me just carry these things. I'm strong enough anyway."
"It's not that heavy, but yeah I'm kinda tired walking around," Melody complained, patting her shoulder lightly.
"I'm sorry to trouble you. I just want to talk to Yanna alone," Alice said. Melody just nodded. Alice continued, "It went well. Her response is within my expectations."
Melody looked sideways at Alice, seeing her smiling wryly.
"Is everything okay?" Melody asked.
"Yes."
"Wanna drink?"
"No, thank you. I still have a flight later."
"And yet you still have time to play around with us instead of taking your rest," Melody teased.
"Because I know after the release of the movie you and Yanna will be busier than ever," Alice responded.
Melody smiled, knowing that Alice didn't show any more sadness and followed Alice's topic, "Of course, Yanna is really talented and I'll make sure that she will stand in the spotlight in no time."
Alice laughed, looking at her friend who had become more energetic and positive than before. She was also looking forward to Yanna's future. She couldn't be with her now, but it didn't mean she couldn't in the future. No one knows what will happen in the future. For now, she would accept this rejection and maybe try again in the future if there's a chance.
Melody ran along with the wind, just thinking about the future made her full of expectation. She smiled widely unconsciously, her golden hair fluttering as she turned around to look at Alice. Then she said excitedly, "Alice, you should look forward to it. Then when that time comes, let's drink!"
Alice watched Melody and smiled dotingly at her. With Melody around, she felt better. She walked fast to stand next to Melody and patted her head.
She gently said to Melody, "If you said it with that confidence, then I guess I have no other choice but to really look forward to it then."
"Haha, yes."
Melody didn't expect Alice's habit of patting her head to still remain. Alice was an Alpha yet so gentle, which made her comfortable and dependent back then. She was lucky to meet people like Alice and Yanna.
Melody held Alice's arms and pulled her as she saw Yanna waiting not far away.
"Haha, look at her. She's looking anxious. It's your fault for leaving her alone, you know," Melody said. Then she ran to Yanna.
After talking and eating until past 9 in the evening, Yanna and Melody even sent Alice to the airport before saying goodbye.
Melody went back to the hotel after the busy day, while Yanna went to Vanessa's house.
Yanna sent a message to Vanessa and received a quick reply, with Vanessa saying she's at home too. Yanna smiled lovingly, she missed Vanessa so much, especially when she talked to Alice. She herself didn't know how big a place Vanessa had in her heart, but when she thought about it, maybe it was because she never dared to let anyone enter her life and occupy a space in her heart.
Yanna couldn't wait to see Vanessa, so she made a phone call.
"Yanna?" Vanessa asked as she answered the phone quickly.
"Honey, I miss you," Yanna said in her bedroom voice.
Vanessa blushed, hearing Yanna's seductive voice over the phone. Even though Yanna would talk to her like this most of the time when they were together alone, it still made her feel excited. Every time Yanna talked to her like that, she knew Yanna was being flirty again and extremely sweet and also clingy. For her, Yanna like this was always extremely irresistible.
Vanessa looked down, trying to maintain her calm, then she coldly said, "Come home quickly."
Yanna looked at her phone, then she stopped a taxi and gave the address. The house where Vanessa stayed was not far, so it only took her 15 minutes to arrive. At the gate, she saw a woman standing, and even though the woman was covered, the aura of her coldness was unmistakable.
Vanessa spoke to the guards and then walked to her car. Yanna also got inside. When Yanna sat, Vanessa didn't talk and immediately drove her to her villa. Yanna smelled the scent of peaches and sniffed it, then she removed her mask, cap, and jacket.
Yanna's wine pheromones started to leak in response to the scent of peaches. When the car stopped, Yanna removed her seatbelt, and then her hand was held by Vanessa immediately before she could even move.
