My Movie Queen: Chapter 90

Fiona kept apologizing until she asked for help from Melody. Melody sent a message to Fiona, stating that it's not hard to coax Yanna—just give her an ice cream, and everything will be fine. Fiona followed the advice and didn't expect Yanna to really accept her apology this time.

"Alright, let's go back to business," Yanna said as she ate her ice cream.

"Okay, Arnold said that Set set up a plan for you. Are you going with his plan?" Fiona asked, taking the matter seriously, as Yanna was her friend, although she felt that Yanna hadn't told her everything.

"Yes," Yanna replied.

Melody still didn't know how Set would set up Yanna, which made her worried, even though Yanna seemed to know what to do.

"How will he set you up? Does he know your whereabouts?" Melody asked.

"It's easy for him to set me up. He only needs to talk to someone, arrange a meeting with me—someone I can't ignore and someone who can give me a stepping stone," Yanna said, finding such strategies old-fashioned and boring.

"Are you not worried?" Fiona asked.

"No, I just think their way of doing things is too boring. Although I expected it, it still disappoints me," Yanna replied.

"Fufufu~ so you like excitement, huh?" Fiona said, agreeing with Yanna, but having a friend who seeks excitement still excited her. She remembered Yanna asking her if she wanted to watch the fun.

"How will you make it fun? I mean, they are boring. What about you?" Fiona asked, her excitement and expectation evident in her eyes.

"What do you mean, make it fun? Just solve everything and don't make it complicated. Can you?" Melody said, not accepting that they wanted to treat the situation as entertainment.

"Melody, don't you find it boring?" Fiona asked.

"No, it's a headache for me. If it's not necessary to deal with it, I wouldn't even agree in the first place," Melody said, massaging her temples.

Seeing Melody look really troubled, Fiona and Yanna looked at each other. They understood Melody's concern but couldn't explain how boring petty tricks were.

"Alright, we will just finish it and won't make everything complicated," Yanna said after some thought.

"Really?" Fiona asked with doubt.

Yanna secretly made eye contact with Fiona, and even without words, Fiona understood.

"Yes, Melody still has to deal with a lot of things, so we really can't make any trouble," Yanna explained after an eye contact.

"Sigh~ that's good then. We still have to meet Alice later. We should get going," Melody said, trying to end the conversation before Fiona and Yanna could come up with more ideas.

"Alice?" Fiona asked, hearing the name for the first time from Melody.

"She's a friend of ours, and we worked together on my recent project," Yanna answered, unaware of Fiona's concern.

Melody smiled and nodded her head. Then she added, "She's a very good friend of mine. I just didn't expect her and Yanna to know each other too, which is really unexpected, right Yanna?" Melody became excited as she talked about it.

Yanna thought so too. "Yeah."

"Then, can I come with you?" Fiona asked, really wanting to know if Alice is Omega or Alpha, but she had a feeling that Melody wouldn't like such a question.

"This..." Yanna hesitated, then she looked at Melody to decide since Melody knew Alice better than herself.

"Maybe next time," Melody answered. It's not good to suddenly bring someone, especially Fiona, who has a special status.

"I see. Then... can you introduce me in the future?" Fiona asked tentatively.

"Of course," Melody answered quickly.

"That's great. By the way, how about just inviting her here? This is a good place anyway. You can order whatever you want, the bill's on me as a gift in advance. Just mention me to her," Fiona said.

"Are you that interested in her?" Melody asked.

"No, don't get me wrong. You said she's a friend of yours, so I thought maybe we can also be friends. You know I don't have many people I can consider friends, so that's why," Fiona explained. She gave Yanna a signal to help her with her eyes, but Yanna looked away.

Yanna thought that Fiona initially wanted to know Alice, but Fiona kept asking. Then an idea came up to her: maybe Fiona is not interested in Alice in the first place; she's just curious and wants to know who the people around Melody are, which is good and not good at the same time. If she wants to know more about Melody, she should go directly to the point. It's not Fiona's style to be roundabout

Melody didn't think of anything; for her, Fiona is just curious. "This place is good; Alice would really like eating here, but I still need to ask her first. After all, Alice is the type of person who will make a plan in advance before inviting people."

"You really know her well," Fiona commented with sourness in her tone.

Yanna caught the sourness, but Melody seemed not to realize it yet. On the other hand, Melody, who silently took a sip of juice after hearing Fiona's words, understood Fiona's meaning.

Melody acted as if she didn't understand anything, she just smiled and said, "Of course, she's my best friend after all."
