My Movie Queen: Chapter 74
As soon as Yanna came inside she can feel the tense atmosphere around Melody and Fiona, although she wanted to know what had happened, she thought it would be better not to be nosy and instead decided to wait for them to talk when they wanted.
Melody asked Yanna to sit down, then she went to the kitchen and served black coffee for Yanna then she also sat down.
Yanna had been considering doing live stream to quickly gain more fame, but she wasn't sure if it was a good idea. Seeking advice, she turned to Melody, who is more reliable when it came to making decisions.
"Melody," Yanna began hesitantly. "What's your opinion on me doing a live stream to gain more fame? I'm just getting back into acting, and I'm not sure if it's a good idea."
Melody thought for a moment before giving her honest opinion. "Honestly, Yanna, I don't think it's a good idea. Going live can be unpredictable, and it can be hard to control what people say or do."
Yanna nodded, understanding where Melody was coming from. "I see. But what about the potential benefits? It could help me reach a wider audience and gain more popularity. I can also use it to promote myself, and communication with people, fans or not, is not bad. Besides, I want them to see who I really am. In this way, at least some people might see me from a new angle."
Melody listened carefully as Yanna listed the pros. Melody considered the pros and cons, going live. Although she was worried about Yanna being hacked by malicious individuals on the internet like before, she knew that once Yanna came back onscreen, something like that would be unavoidable.
After analyzing everything, she agreed with Yanna but added that she needed to carefully plan the content and the platform she would use.
As they continued to talk, Fiona, who had been silent all along, interjected and expressed her support. "I think it's a great idea, Yanna. And if it's what you really want, then go for it. I'll support you, and maybe we can even collaborate on something."
Melody was surprised by Fiona's sudden outburst, but she smiled at the thought of working with both of them. And can't help but think ' Is it because of what happened last night? But having her support will be really helpful to us, should I accept it or not? No, I already rejected her twice and if I rejected her again this time it would affect Yanna's starting career ' Melody shake her head to focus her thinking and set aside her personal matter.
Yanna, Melody, and Fiona gathered around the living room, ready to plan Yanna's upcoming live stream. They knew it was important to have a clear vision of what, when, and how to execute the stream, especially since Yanna will have a scheduled shoot after signing a contract later.
"Alright," Yanna began, holding a notepad and pen. "Let's start with the content. I want it to be something fun and interactive, maybe even a Q&A session with the audience. What do you guys think?"
Melody nodded in agreement. "That sounds great, Yanna. It would allow your fans to get to know you better and feel more connected."
Fiona chimed in, "Yes, and we can also incorporate some behind-the-scenes footage later from your new shoot to generate excitement,"
As they discussed further, they finalized the time for the live stream, ensuring it wouldn't clash with any of Yanna's other upcoming commitments. They also decided on the platform they would use and brainstormed ideas for possible giveaways or special guest appearances if it became successful.
After a couple of hours of planning, Fiona had to bid farewell as she had some urgent company matters to attend to. She assured them that she would stay in touch with both Melody and Yanna to support them throughout the process.
Yanna returned to her house to freshen up. She took a relaxing bath, letting the warm water wash away the stress of the day. Once she was refreshed, she changed into an outfit that showcased her warm and approachable temperament - a summer dress with vibrant colors but still maintaining a conservative style.
She looked at herself in the mirror, feeling confident and ready for the live stream. Yanna grabbed a mask and sunglasses to ensure her privacy and headed towards Melody's apartment.
Meanwhile, Melody was also preparing herself for the day. This was her first time as a manager, and she wanted to make a good impression on the director and screenwriter of the artist she was handling. She carefully selected her outfit, making sure it was professional yet stylish.
As they both left their respective places, Yanna and Melody made their way to meet the director, assistant director, and Alice, the screenwriter. It was an opportunity for Yanna to discuss her character development and understand the vision for the upcoming project, while Melody aimed to establish strong connections with the team and learn more about their expectations.
As Yanna and Melody made their way to the restaurant, Yanna took a moment to send a quick message to Vanessa
Yan: Honey, I'm on my way to meet the director and the others. Feeling a bit nervous, but also excited! How's your day going? Don't forget to eat and rest, okay? Talk to you soon!
Yanna hit send, hoping Vanessa would see it soon,a little while later, Yanna decided to put her phone away in her bag, realizing that Vanessa might still be busy with her own commitments.
Meanwhile, as they approached the restaurant, Melody couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. This was her first time meeting such highly esteemed professionals in the industry, and she wanted to make a good impression. However, as they stepped inside, Melody found her nerves settling and transforming into a sense of professionalism. She knew she had prepared well for this meeting and was determined to showcase her skills as a capable manager.
A staff member approached them, smiling warmly. "Good evening! Do you have reservations?" the staff asked, looking at Melody expectantly.
Melody nodded confidently. "Yes, we do. Under the name of Shin."
The staff quickly checked their reservation information. "Ah, yes. Right this way, please." The staff gestured for Yanna and Melody to follow as they led them to a private room.
The room was beautifully decorated, creating an elegant yet comfortable ambiance. Yanna admired the attention to detail, feeling even more excited about the upcoming meeting.
As they settled into their seats, Yanna couldn't help but notice how Melody seemed to transition seamlessly into a professional demeanor. It was as if the nerves from earlier were completely gone, replaced by a confidence and poise that impressed Yanna.
' As expected from one of the supporting female leads she can adjust quickly, luckily Melody is on my side, I just have to intervene when needed. I can't let the male protagonist succeed. Hmm.. stealing his future helpers won't be bad right? Right, I forgot to contact that person before to deal with Oliver '
