My Movie Queen: Chapter 113
Vanessa quickly changed her clothes and glanced at the clock. It was already 6 in the afternoon, and they still had to get ready for Mirayuki's arrival. She went into the room, giving Yanna a gentle kiss on the cheek and softly calling her name, but Yanna didn't respond. Vanessa tapped Yanna's shoulder, hoping to wake her up, but there was no response. Nervousness started to creep in as Vanessa shook Yanna more forcefully, calling her name with increasing urgency. However, Yanna remained in a deep sleep, unaware of Vanessa's efforts. Vanessa's worry grew as she checked Yanna's forehead, finding no signs of a fever.
Feeling a surge of panic, Vanessa quickly called Melody, urgently asking her to come over. She also reached out to her personal doctor, seeking immediate assistance. Vanessa tried to calm herself, finding comfort in the regular rise and fall of Yanna's chest, indicating normal breathing.
Within minutes, Melody arrived, her concern evident as she observed the distress in Vanessa's eyes. Vanessa explained the situation, her voice trembling with worry. Melody, recognizing Vanessa's fear, tried to stay composed.
"Should we take her to the hospital?" Melody suggested, her voice filled with concern.
Vanessa shook her head, clearly anxious. "I've already called my personal doctor. She's on her way. I just don't know what's happening to her."
Melody pondered for a moment before offering a suggestion. "Maybe she's just exhausted?"
Vanessa sighed, her voice filled with uncertainty. "I don't know."
With each passing moment, Yanna's peaceful slumber became increasingly worrisome. Despite their efforts, neither Vanessa nor Melody could awaken her.
After what felt like an eternity, the doctor arrived, visibly surprised upon entering the room. However, she quickly composed herself, displaying a professional demeanor. Vanessa recounted the events once again, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and hope.
"Are there any similar cases or records of this?" Melody asked, her gaze fixed on Vanessa, who remained silent and wore a cold expression after explaining the situation.
"Yes, there are medical conditions that can cause excessive sleepiness or prolonged periods of sleep without waking up," the doctor began, her voice calm and reassuring. "One such condition is called hypersomnia, which is characterized by excessive daytime sleepiness and prolonged nighttime sleep. Another condition is sleep inertia, where a person has difficulty waking up and feels groggy or disoriented after a long sleep."
The doctor continued, explaining that certain medical conditions or medications could contribute to excessive sleepiness or difficulty waking up. To ease their concerns, she emphasized that Yanna's overall health seemed normal, and there was no immediate cause for alarm. However, if Yanna remained unresponsive after eight hours, the doctor recommended taking her to the hospital for further examination.
As the doctor spoke, Vanessa's mind wandered. A sense of unease settled within her, as if an invisible thread threatened to sever their connection. She tightly held Yanna's hand, leaning in to whisper in her ear.
"Honey, it's Vanessa. You can't leave me. You have to wake up, or I'll chase after you no matter where you go," Vanessa pleaded, her voice filled with desperation and determination. If Melody and the doctor could see into Vanessa's eyes, they would witness the depth of worry and a touch of madness in her clear blue gaze.
"You're the only one I have, and the only one I want. Please wake up, or I might go crazy," Vanessa whispered to herself, her words a fervent plea to the slumbering Yanna, hoping against hope that her beloved would hear her and return to her side quickly
Melody after talking to the Doctor came to Vanessa.
" Vanessa, I'll take the Doctor to the guest room to stay for a while until Yanna wakes up," Melody said
Vanessa nodded," Thank you,"
" Vanessa don't worry, she's only sleeping for few hours maybe she'll wake up later," Melody tried to comfort Vanessa but her words is really limited when it comes to comforting people
" I hope so," Vanessa replied without moving
Melody shake her head and went out of room, she carefully close the door and left Vanessa alone with Yanna.
