My Life in Multiverse

After walking for a few minutes, Alex appeared inside the innermost chamber of the huge hideout while knocking out the members of the Eye of the Midnight Sun who tried to stop him.

When he stepped into the huge hall, he saw Rhya sitting there with his usual lazy expression.

"How is the plan going?" Alex asked as he walked over and took a seat.

Rhya sighed and replied while yawning. "Everything is going smoothly. Now that you have brought all the troublemakers here, Patolli will take care of everything in the capital."

"Let's just hope so. Since Julius is a very tricky opponent. His time magic is no joke!" Alex muttered.

He then lazily stretched his body and closed his eyes, observing the movements of all the magic knights and Eye of the Midnight Sun members as they were locked into a fight.

Aside from a few people, only Mereoleona and Nozel were the only ones who were making rapid progress into the raid, coming deeper and deeper into the enemy's lair. 

Not only that, but Alex also used sense exchange with his shadow soldiers to keep an eye on the situation in the capital, making sure that the plan was making smooth progress.

After a few minutes, Mereoleona was the first to arrive at the center of the Gravito Rock dungeon. She was excited to see Alex waiting in the hall and grinned but it was short-lived as her smile disappeared replaced with ferociousness when she saw Rhya sitting not far away from Alex.

She was enraged and clenched her fist as fire erupted on her arm and lunged towards Rhya, ready to destroy the enemy.

*Boom!*

Rhya instantly evaded the attack with light magic, grumbling in annoyance.

"Seriously, she is one scary chick! How are you able to handle her?" 

Alex chuckled and replied. "Yeah? But I think it's fucking hot!"

"You sure have some weird fetish," Rya complained with a playful smile.

Mereoleona had appeared behind Rhya, ready to strike his head, and took him out in one swoop but the latter dodged again.

"Mereoleona! Put down your hand!"

At that moment, Alex sighed and released the massive amount of mana he had compressed till now in his body.

*Boom!*

The entire room, no, the entire massive structure shook from the impact and everyone could not help but fall to the ground, unable to hold it on.

Only Mereoleona and Rhya were the only ones able to still stand on their feet but they were struggling too.

Mereoleona narrowed her eyes and sighed. "Fine. Now just don't go all out or you will destroy everything."

Rhya was drenched in sweat unable to even breathe properly since he had never seen anyone possessing such an absurd amount of mana. He could feel that even if the Elves were resurrected, they might not be the young man's opponent.

Alex smiled and retreated his aura, turning to Rhya. "Now then as promised, I will let you guys complete your goal and in return, you Elves will release all the humans, and the Demon is mine!"

The last three words were dripping with killing intent, so heavy that they could see it turning tangible.

Rhya nervously nodded his head, still contemplating whether the plan was good or not.

"It's time!" Alex raised an eyebrow and a portal opened in mid-air, followed by a man falling from it.

Mereoleona was startled to see that person appearing out of nowhere, her eyes trembling slightly.

"What the hell happened...?"

Alex was very relaxed and walked over to Julius who was still confused to see the unfamiliar place.

"Where is this...?"

"You've also lost, huh?" Alex asked.

"Ah, so all of it is your plan," Julius muttered.

Alex smiled and looked at Rhya. "When I give you a signal, heal this idiot!"

Rhya nodded his head and stood close to Julius, ready to use the Light Healing Magic: Healing Ray of Light.

A few seconds prior to this event, Julius had exchanged a few moves with the Patolli, the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun who also revealed that he was actually sharing a body with William Vangeance, the captain of the Golden Dawn squad.

Julius faced against the enemy and almost overpowered him with ease by using his Time Magic with elegance and great ability.

But Patolli used Julius's position and responsibility of being the Magic Emperor against him and launched a large-scale attack on the citizens.

Julius used his entire power to stop that attack and prevent any tragedies, only to be caught off guard by Patolli who plunged a magic sword directly into Julius's chest, landing a massive attack on the magic emperor.

"You being the magic emperor is your biggest weakness!" Patolli declared emotionlessly. He just did what he had to do and this was the only way.

Julius's body hit the ground, his life slipping out of his grasp slowly.

"What's going on...? Vangeance...!!" Yami who had just arrived, only to see the demise of his mentor and friend was enraged and unsheathed his sword as dark mana burst forth from his blade.

"A pleasure to meet you, Yami Sukehiro... I'm Licht... William is sleeping." Patolli had grabbed the magic stones from Julius's body and smiled at Yami, wiping out his sweat after he had used a large amount of his mana for his previous large-scale attack.

Yami's face darkened when he heard his nonsense. "Huh!? Make up your mind... Huh?!"

Yami wanted to say something but he caught sight of Marx, Julius's assistant who was panicking, trembling in his spot after witnessing the magic emperor's battle with Patolli and his death.

He got angry and shouted at Marx. "The hell you're doing, Marx?! Get a medic!! Hurry up and call Old Man Owen, you dumbass!!"

"Yes, Sir!"

Marx trembled and ran away instantly, wanting to bring quickly a medic. Maybe, they would be able to save Julius before he really died.

"Don't fear. This man will not die... at least this time..." Patolli smiled mysteriously at Yami.

Before Yami could react or even understand, a portal opened below Julius's body and he was sucked into it.

"What did you do?!!" Yami saw the scene and his eyes trembled before he shouted at Patolli for an answer.

"You're asking the wrong person, Yami Sukehiro. Anyway, it's time!" Patolli chuckled playfully at Yami.

"Lord Licht!!" 

A portal opened in mid-air and Valtos peeked out his head, his voice filled with urgency and worry.

Licht jumped into the portal and left the roof, barely missing Yami's attack who was a step late in using Dark Magic: Dark Coated Dimensional Slash.

Yami raised his head towards the sky and roared angrily like a wounded beast.
