The twin's bodies that were engulfed with golden light started to levitate as their auras started to increase in power and intensity.

Zhu Cheng eyes widened as he jumped up trying to stop what was happening, they all realized that the twins were breaking through the Emperor realm at the same time!

It seemed the godly treasure was a catalyst left behind from the god realm expert, he left there some of his enlightenment along with ki so that someone would get a guaranteed breakthrough of one level, even if they were at the Sage Realm, however, it wouldn't be useful for those at the God Realm.

It seemed quite wasteful the energy was used on the twins but it was their luck to get it, Zhu Cheng teeth made sounds like they were ready to break as he tried to break the twins away from the sword but the few seconds when he jumped to the moment that his hand touched the sword was enough for both of them to assimilate the energy and breakthrough, even though they forced their breakthrough the sequelae from it could be healed with the resources of the Zhu Family.

Yun Jhin watched as the twins opened their eyes at the same time and tried to unsheath the sword only for it to drop out their hands and zap both of them, it was a godly weapon, even those at the sage realm would barely be able to use it.

Since they couldn't use the sword the duo directly attacked Zhu Cheng, they were fighting as one as Zhu Cheng had to dodge their palms and fist attacks, their combined battle power was pretty similar to his!

Zhu Cheng eyes became red as he took a glance at the sword, he could have broken through to the 3rd stage of the Emperor realm with that sword, the veins of his head started to become visible as they moved like earthworms, he was thoroughly angry at this point!

The twins created a katana each and they wielded as if it was one person attacking and not two, Zhu Cheng started to get overwhelmed as he fought two people at once and his face got slashed a bit, blood dripped slowly from the cut on his cheek and his expression became terrifying.

Zhu Cheng's anger couldn't be explained in words as he transformed into his true form and used his claws to slash the duo into nothing, however, the twins transformed into their true form as well, they were sky dragons with strange blue patterns running across their snake-like bodies, their wings were small and they seemed like they wouldn't be able to support their long bodies enough to fly.

Yun Jhin was already breaking away from the group as he took a safe distance away from the fight, the shockwaves would disrupt his concentration and might even trigger some traps that he didn't disarm.

Zhu Cheng knew that there were some traps left so he didn't unleash his full strength, the twins did the same, they weren't ready to use their lives to trade it for Zhu Chengs, they were only showing the fact that they were strong enough to keep him in check.

The fight didn't last that long as they both reverted to their humanoid forms, Zhu Cheng face was as cold as a 10,000-year-old glacier as he glared at the twins, one of them grasped the sword from where they dropped but didn't dare to unsheath it again.

Zhu Cheng fiery eyes turned to Yun Jhin, but he already disappeared!

Yun Jhin was quickly disarming traps along while walking in the tomb as he made his way towards the direction of the core of the formation while being in stealth.

He frowned as he could feel the coldness entering his body so he had to use his life law jewel along with his yang and 4 elemental jewel to expel the coldness from his body.

He knew that he was getting closer to the core of the formation but what he found strange was that the traps started to lower in number and he could feel no auras around!

This surely meant that the Emperor must have been on this path.

Yun Jhin slowed down but in the end, he still arrived in the main tomb area where the core of the formation stood.

The core of the formation was a sarcophagus that was shaped in the form of a dark dragon, it stood high on a platform that one had to scale to get to the sarcophagus, the platform was almost 10 meters tall and it was made from dark Yang jade of the highest quality.

Yun Jhin could feel the soul fragment of the dark dragon metamorphosing inside the sarcophagus, it was slowly coming alive!

Yun Jhin felt a hand grasping his neck as he looked behind him and saw the Emperor picking him up like he was a sack of potatoes!

The Emperor heaved a hearty chuckle as he patted Yun Jhin on the head and said:

"Youngster, don't you think you are quite far away from the place that you are supposed to explore?"

Yun Jhin knew that he was only playing with him as his eyes turned cold and he said:

"You might have fooled the others but my vision is special even amongst the latest Emperors, I can see that your soul is extremely old even though fragmented, you are a reincarnated one!"

Reaching the peak of the god realm would give someone abilities that others would call unfair or even world-altering, it was a simple thing for the Emperor to see through Yun Jhin's soul.

Yun Jhin wanted to struggle but his whole body was paralyzed, the Emperor looked directly into his eyes as he forcefully tried to remove some of his memories.

Suddenly the sarcophagus started moving as it opened, out of it 16 murked souls came out, they all looked similar to each other as all of their individuality was destroyed by the formation, the Emperor dropped Yun Jhin as he clutched his arm and 4 other souls left the sleeve of his robes.

The Emperor's eyes widened as he clapped his hands and another 2 God Realm experts that sat at the 7th and 8th stage respectively appeared, they all ignored Yun Jhin as they had a grave expression on their face looking at the formation of the 20 murked souls.

The murked souls then returned to the sarcophagus as a deep voice could be heard:

"Return to me, my descendants!"

The closer one was to the bloodline of the primogenitor the higher the bloodline chains would tighten in their bodies and control them, the three god realm experts' eyes became glazed but inside they were ferociously trying to stop their bodies from walking towards the sarcophagus.

The moment one of them reached the dark yang jade his body slowly started to wither and age as his life force was absorbed by it.

The Emperor broke through the spell after a short while, his face was full of cold sweat and he didn't even have time to look for Yun Jhin who now disappeared.

He looked at the sarcophagus and he could feel a gaze that locked deeply on his soul, he felt the same gaze some times before when he entered the tomb but now it was so strong!

Both of his attendants were no longer alive as their souls left their bodies and were dragged to the sarcophagus where they became as dark as the night then absorbed inside, the red eyes of the sarcophagus glowed deeply as the intense control on the Emperor's body increased.

The Emperor did his best to resist as he even used some of his life force to break away, but his bloodline was too closely linked to the dark dragon's!

The moment the Emperor stepped on the dark jade his life force started to leave him and he grew old at a visible rate.

He bellowed as he threw away all of his life force for a chance of his soul to escape and be reincarnated, his soul tried to fly away from the formation but it was quickly engulfed by the formation and absorbed into the sarcophagus, the dark jade that glowed deeply stopped and the sarcophagus eyes did the same, everything became quiet.

Yun Jhin appeared as he started scaling the steps up to the sarcophagus, his stealth technique was covering him as he got close to the sarcophagus and he opened it, the moment he opened it he could hear heavy heartbeats as the appearance of a handsome middle-aged man was starting to appear in the sarcophagus, he had deep dark violet hair along with sword-like brows and his being gave out the aura of an important person of a high standing along with the feeling that he saw through worldly needs.

The dark dragon was currently absorbing the murked souls and it was at it's weakest at this time, Yun Jhin slowly approached him but he could feel someone behind him again.

Zhu Cheng and the twins appeared as they slapped Yun Jhin away from the sarcophagus, they had eyes full of greed as they looked at the soul, they knew it was special the moment they saw the imperial robe left on the steps of dark jade.

They didn't see Yun Jhin or feel him but the moment they got close they felt something in front of them and slapped it away.

It was unknown if the elders perished or were thrown out of the tomb by the traps.

Yun Jhin gritted his teeth as he fell to the bottom of the dark jade platform.

These fools would doom them all!

Zhu Cheng thrust his arm inside the soul only for his whole being to age immediately and die only his clothes remained.

The twin's eyes widened in horror as they wanted to run away but the dark dragon's eyes opened, the gaze alone paralyzed the twins, the man's incomplete body moved a little but he didn't leave the sarcophagus, the twins were absorbed as well... as for the others as they weren't here they might as well have died at the hands of Zhu Cheng and the twins.

Yun Jhin's eyes widened as the man's gaze turned from the downed people to his form at the bottom of the platform.

His body didn't have a high purity of blood and his bloodline also wasn't close to the dark dragons but he could feel his body slowly escaping from his control as he scaled the platform, he stood in front of the dark dragon as his hand went ahead to caress Yun Jhin's cheek.

Yun Jhin knew the moment the hand touched his cheek he would become a bunch of ash that would disappear just like the Emperor and the others!

Yun Jhin's eyes widened in horror as the hand was centimeters away from his cheek when suddenly...
