Multiverse Shenanigans: Raja's Journey

Chapter 15: The Rise of the New Hashira and Dragons

The day had finally come—training these six misfit kids to Hashira level. It sounded insane, even for someone like me, the Tempest Dragon. But if there's anything I've learned from working with Big Bro Gyomei, it's that impossible was just a word we made fun of during training.

The training grounds were alive with chaos from the very beginning. I had assembled the six chosen children: Tanjirō Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Kanao Tsuyuri, Genya Shinazugawa, and Senjurō Rengoku. Each of them had their unique strengths, their quirks… and an ungodly ability to drive me insane.

Especially Inosuke.

Inosuke had become something else entirely. That wild boar had grown stronger than I could have imagined. "Berserk Dragon," Big Bro had called him after Inosuke managed to shatter a boulder… with his head.

One day, as Inosuke was ramming his skull into another tree for training (because apparently, it "needed to be taught a lesson"), I couldn't help but marvel at his sheer power.

"Inosuke!" I yelled, watching as he flung a whole tree into the air like it weighed nothing. "You realize you need the tree to breathe, right?! Stop breaking nature's lungs!"

He grunted back, throwing the tree farther. "If the tree's not strong enough to fight back, it doesn't deserve to stand!"

I pinched the bridge of my nose. He was insane. But he was strong.

Inosuke, with his raw, untamed power, had not only surpassed the others in strength but also manifested his Demon Slayer Mark—a rare feat. Not only could he maintain it, but he did so without even realizing its importance. Big Bro Gyomei had coined him the Berserk Dragon, and honestly, it was the most fitting title in existence.

But the real focus of my efforts had been on Tanjirō Kamado and Zenitsu Agatsuma. These two… they were different. Special.

Tanjirō had an unbreakable spirit. His fire-like determination burned even brighter when I gave him the 15% pill. The kid took to training like a flame to oil, embodying the spirit of the Sun Hashira. His focus was unmatched, his compassion endless. But the transformation the pill caused was incredible. The kid didn't just train; he lived and breathed swordsmanship. He was becoming something great.

Zenitsu, however… was another story. When I first told him about the Thunder Breathing forms, he looked terrified. "I—I can't do it!" he stammered, nearly fainting at the mere thought of training. Typical Zenitsu.

That's when I made my move. I leaned in, my voice low but promising. "Zenitsu, if you master all the Thunder Breathing forms, I'll take you to a gentleman's place."

For a second, his eyes glazed over. "A… gentleman's place?" He blinked, confused.

I smiled. "A place with beautiful ladies, Zenitsu. Charming women who love to chat. You know, the kind that serve you tea… and maybe a little more."

For a second, Zenitsu's brain malfunctioned. He looked like a confused puppy. Then, realization hit him like lightning. His eyes widened, his face flushed with excitement, and he almost knocked me over with how quickly he latched onto my arm.

"Sensei! I'll do it! I'll master them all! I'll do anything!" he declared with the fiery determination of a man with one goal: impressing women. He started training with a passion that not even Tanjirō could match. His Thunder Breathing forms came to him with terrifying speed and precision. Within the year, he had mastered them all and earned the title of Thunder Hashira.

"Zenitsu!" I called out one day as I watched him slice through the air with a newfound grace and power. "You know, if you put this much energy into your missions, you could probably own a gentleman's place by now."

His face flushed again, but this time with pride. "I'll do that next, Sensei!"

Zenitsu, with the help of the 15% pill, had turned into a prodigy. His innate gift from the gods had finally been unlocked, and I honestly couldn't believe it. The boy who had fainted at the mere sight of a demon was now a master of the lightning arts, and his skill put him on par with any Hashira.

Within a year, I had successfully trained Tanjirō, the Sun Hashira; Zenitsu, the Thunder Hashira; Kanao, the graceful Butterfly Hashira; Genya, who specialized in Rain Breathing; and Senjurō, the young Fire Hashira following in his brother's footsteps. And of course, Inosuke—who had become the Berserk Dragon.

And that wasn't all. Big Bro Gyomei had also finished training the next generation of Dragons: Giyu Tomioka had become the Water Dragon, Mitsuri Kanroji mastered her form as the Love Dragon, Sanemi Shinazugawa was the Wind Dragon, Muichiro Tokito became the Mist Dragon, Obanai Iguro had perfected his role as the Serpent Dragon, and Shinobu Kocho—the Insect Dragon.

Each of them had manifested their Demon Slayer Marks, able to maintain it for stable hours. They were unstoppable.

But even as the kids and the new Dragons reached the peak of their abilities, Inosuke still stood out. He had manifested his mark so early and controlled his transformation effortlessly, his raw power growing beyond what I'd imagined. I watched him one day during a sparring session with Zenitsu, the Thunder Dragon crackling around him like a storm.

"I WILL CRUSH YOU!" Inosuke roared, his dual blades spinning like a wild cyclone.

"Not if I can cut you down first!" Zenitsu shot back, his movements faster than lightning.

They were both incredibly strong, and it was a sight to behold. I turned to Big Bro, who was watching the sparring with his usual calm demeanor. "Did you ever think we'd see the day Inosuke became this powerful?"

Big Bro chuckled softly, his deep voice like a rumble in the earth. "No, little brother. He has surpassed my expectations in every way."

I nodded in agreement. "It's honestly terrifying."

The training had brought them to new heights. These weren't just kids anymore—they were Hashira, the strongest of our kind. And as we stood there watching, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.

"Big Bro," I said after a moment, "these Dragons we've forged… they'll be the ones to lead the charge against Muzan."

Big Bro's expression remained steady, but his words were firm. "They will. And with their strength, we will be victorious."

I smiled. The final battle was on the horizon, and we were ready.
