Chapter 104: Endeavor
Next on the chopping block was Endeavor. Radiating confidence, he was sure he would last longer than anyone else. After all, he had raised four kids—how hard could it be to handle a classroom of teenagers?
What he didn't know was that his own son, Shoto Todoroki, was brewing a plan to make his father's week miserable. In secret, Shoto rallied his classmates, offering them a bit of pocket money to join in on his scheme. They agreed, eager to take down the mighty No. 1 hero.
When the first day arrived, Endeavor strode into Class 1-A, a confident smirk plastered on his face. He expected respect, obedience, and eager learners to absorb his every word. Instead, he was met with Taboo—Shoto's planned chaos began.
The moment he stepped inside, glitter exploded in his face, covering him from head to toe. Gasps of surprise were replaced by laughter as the students erupted into a chorus of giggles. Confused but undeterred, Endeavor pressed on, attempting to assert his authority.
"Enough with the games! You're in my class now. I will not tolerate this—"
But as the day went on, distractions intensified. Students tossed paper airplanes. Mineta launched small, sticky balls toward him, while Bakugo remarked how Endeavor's flames looked like cheap fireworks. Izuku Midoriya desperately tried to explain the importance of learning but was drowned out by Bakugo's explosion of laughter.
Despite his initial grit, Endeavor felt the mounting pressure as pranks escalated. On Tuesday, a string of whoopee cushions lined his chair, which squeaked loudly every time he sat down. He felt his patience thinning, yet he pushed through, determined to show his classmates who was in charge.
On Wednesday, things escalated to an entirely new level. While he dozed off in the teacher's lounge, Shoto and his accomplices executed their final act with precision. They swiped Endeavor's credit cards and charged a complete Disney princess costume, dressing him in a shimmering gown with a tiara atop his head.
Endeavor jolted awake, feeling fabric instead of his usual hero suit. Blinking in disbelief, he stood before a mirror, his face a blend of horror and anger. Students peeked in from the hallway, stifling laughter as he stormed out, the dress swishing around his legs.
"I QUIT!" he roared, stomping into the pro lounge, glitter still sticking to his uniform, tiara slightly askew.
When the other heroes caught a glimpse of their colleague's dramatic entrance, laughter erupted like wildfire. All Might doubled over, tears in his eyes, while Midnight couldn't suppress her snickers. Hawks feigned choking on his drink, trying to regain composure.
"What happened to the great Endeavor? You couldn't last three days?" Midnight teased, her voice dripping with playful malice.
"Don't bring this up again!" he snapped, cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
With each laugh echoing around him, Endeavor realized his overconfidence had led him to an unexpected fate. As the laughter continued, he shook his head and muttered to himself, "I should have known the moment I stepped into that classroom…"
Meanwhile, inside Class 1-A, Shoto sat back, a satisfied smile on his face, knowing full well that they had all succeeded in showing their formidable teacher just what teamwork could accomplish—even if it meant defeating their ever-enthusiastic father. Today was a glorious victory in the classroom, and perhaps, just perhaps, a learning experience for a father who had underestimated his son's cleverness.
As the betting heroes continued their humorous chattering, Endeavor lurked in the corner, plotting his revenge for the next opportunity that came his way—this time, on his own terms.
