"Light Element: Trinity Pillars!"

Seeing the dire situation, George spread his wings and soared above Hermione and the others. A radiant magic circle of the Light Element appeared above his head, and three beams of holy light descended around them, forming a massive protective barrier that shielded everyone.

All the wizards present, including Old One-Eye, who was still unleashing his lightning magic outside, were momentarily stunned.

With his pure white wings and the holy glow radiating from him, George looked less like a wizard and more like an angel straight out of Muggle mythology, hovering in the air to block the terrifying lightning.

"What are you standing around for? Start building a super protective barrier!"

While George withstood the barrage of lightning on his own, he glanced down to see Amy, Lina, and the other Aurors staring up at him in awe. Feeling exasperated, he shouted to snap them out of it.

The lightning strikes were exceptionally powerful, and even his Trinity Pillars wouldn't hold for long.

Thanks to George's urgent reminder, Amy and the others quickly came to their senses. They immediately began waving their wands.

"Ultimate Protection: Protego Maxima! All-Encompassing Barrier! Shield Us From Harm!"

The combined magical power of all the Aurors coalesced high above, forming an enormous protective barrier that replaced George's Trinity Pillars and successfully blocked the falling lightning.

On the other side, Old One-Eye had already sensed trouble the moment George summoned the Trinity Pillars. Realizing the situation was turning against him, he quickly turned and began sprinting toward the central exit of the magical street while continuing to wave his wand.

As long as he could reach the statue marking the street's exit and step into the Muggle district, he could Apparate away, leaving the Aurors unable to track him.

"Old man, do you really think you can get away?"

Now that the Aurors had jointly blocked the lightning, George dismissed his Trinity Pillars. He cast a Shield Charm over his head, flapped his wings, and accelerated toward Old One-Eye.

Originally, George had hoped to extract information about ancient magic from Old One-Eye. But now that the man had revealed such a powerful form of ancient magic, there was no way George could let him escape.

However, George didn't pursue too closely. Instead, he maintained some distance, waiting until Old One-Eye moved out of the Aurors' line of sight. Then, with a sudden burst of speed, he overtook the man and landed ahead of him.

"You brat, you're courting death!"

Seeing George block his path, Old One-Eye immediately stopped channeling the lightning magic and switched tactics. With a flick of his wand, he unleashed a Killing Curse.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A flash of green light shot toward George at lightning speed.

"Such fast spellcasting!"

George twisted in mid-air, narrowly avoiding the Killing Curse, and landed on the ground.

Compared to the earlier dark wizards, Old One-Eye's strength was on a completely different level. The precision and speed with which he cast the Killing Curse were incredibly well-practiced.

Even George had almost fallen victim to it.

"Avada Kedavra!"

As soon as George landed, Old One-Eye launched a second Killing Curse.

But on the ground, George was far more agile than in the air. He easily dodged the attack, closing the distance between them while raising his wand to counter.

"Expelliarmus!"

A beam of red light shot toward Old One-Eye. However, with a flick of his wand, the dark wizard deflected the spell with ease and retaliated with another curse.

"Impedimenta!"

A sudden force enveloped George, drastically reducing his speed. Old One-Eye had cast the Impediment Jinx.

In terms of mastery over this world's magic, George, though only a first-year student, had already reached the level of a typical Auror. However, compared to a top-tier dark wizard like Old One-Eye, the gap in skill was still significant.

But George had access to more than just this world's magic.

"Sectumsempra!"

With a wave of his wand, George sent an invisible blade flying toward Old One-Eye. Simultaneously, eight razor-sharp blades shot out from all directions, targeting the dark wizard at incredible speed.

"Impressive for someone so young! But you're still too inexperienced."

Seeing the eight blades hurtling toward him, Old One-Eye assumed George was controlling them with a Summoning Charm. He confidently raised his wand and cast a freezing spell.

"Glacius Totalus!"

A surge of powerful magic erupted, and Old One-Eye's Freezing Charm miraculously managed to halt George's eight flying blades.

Unfortunately for him, while he froze the blades, he couldn't stop the invisible Sectumsempra.

The transparent cutting curse struck true, slicing through half of Old One-Eye's wand-wielding wrist.

To prevent the possibility of silent or wandless spellcasting, a radiant magic circle lit up above George's head once more.

"Circle of Light!"

The Light Element magic circle appeared, releasing a series of luminous attacks that slammed into Old One-Eye's back, driving him forcefully into the ground.

By this time, George had already reached Old One-Eye.

"Legilimens!"

Combining his psychic abilities with the Memory Extraction Spell, George began delving into Old One-Eye's mind.

"Found it."

It didn't take long before he located the information he was looking for.

"Stupefy!"

With a Sleeping Charm, George knocked Old One-Eye unconscious. He rummaged through the dark wizard's robes and soon pulled out an old, worn magic book, no thicker than a diary.

The title read A Spellbook for Calling Thunder and Lightning, the very same ancient lightning magic Old One-Eye had just unleashed. It turned out to be a discovery he had made in the tomb of a third-century wizard within the past two years.

"Quick Copy!"

George waved his wand, creating an identical copy of the spellbook, which he stored in his spatial pocket dimension. He then carefully placed the original book back into Old One-Eye's robes.

The Duplication Charm, which George had recently learned from Amy, allowed for the replication of non-magical items. Though the duplicate looked indistinguishable from the original, it would disintegrate once its magical energy was depleted. Additionally, any skilled wizard could detect the copy's lack of true magical resonance with a simple glance.

"George! George!"

Just as George finished, Amy, Lina, and the Aurors arrived in a rush.

The moment they noticed the lightning had ceased, they had hurried over, fearing that George might have been fatally outmatched during his pursuit of Old One-Eye. After all, Old One-Eye's prowess was internationally recognized.

"Episkey!"

Concerned that Sectumsempra might cause Old One-Eye to bleed to death, George calmly healed the wound with a counter-curse. Noticing Amy and the others, he turned to them and said nonchalantly, "Don't worry. I didn't kill him—he's just unconscious."

"We weren't worried about him. We were worried about you."

Amy and the French Ministry Aurors froze in place, staring in stunned silence at the scene before them. A moment later, someone muttered in disbelief.

They had known George was powerful—this was evident from the moment he orchestrated the daring rescue of the hostages and single-handedly protected everyone with his unique magic.

But seeing the infamous international fugitive and dark wizard, Old One-Eye, defeated by George in a one-on-one duel left them utterly speechless.

After all, George looked no older than eleven or twelve—a mere child.
