Chapter 124 – New seed [6]
Prime had questioned multiple times what he would do if other symbiotes appeared. He had to admit that his first encounter with one of his offspring was not the best. Prime understood that his species tends to hunt their progenitors, though the reason for this was still unknown to him.
However, this was something Prime managed to resolve. It wasn't out of vanity, but Prime was the progenitor of his race, the first of his kind. This led him to wonder exactly how old he was, but he decided to set that question aside.
Returning to the issue at hand, Prime never thought about world domination or anything like that; in fact, that idea was far from anything he would try or even consider. However, Prime had to admit that the potential for it was real if he really wanted it. Still, this led him to reflect on several issues.
Prime wondered if he could really create new symbiotes and keep them under control. Initially, he thought about creating symbiotes without intelligence, who would merely follow orders, but this seemed like a taboo. Something within him said that symbiotes should not be created in that way.
Therefore, Prime chose to limit the symbiotes: they could never harm their hosts and always had to follow their orders. However, Prime wasn’t sure what had happened with Ema. It was clear that what Prime felt that morning was the seed germinating, but for some reason, it seemed to escape his perception.
Nevertheless, Prime didn’t have time to delve into these thoughts at the moment. Putting his reflections aside, he focused on his senses. A kind of intuition arose in his mind, like a network connecting him to his symbiotes from a distance. That’s how Prime realized the formation of a new bond between him and another being—without a doubt, the new symbiote now with Ema.
(Sara, I found them. It looks like Ema’s symbiote has awakened, and she’s heading towards the orphanage where we adopted Ema and Annie)
(Understood)
After saying these words, Prime cast one last glance at the outside before heading to the entrance of his apartment. Although he could teleport instantly to his main body within Sara, he found it more practical to simply drive. After all, the day was still bright, and it would be odd to transform in the middle of the city.

"Why, exactly, did we come here?"
There was still some time until sunset, but Ema was nervous. It was the first time she had gone out without telling anyone. Moreover, her symbiont had suddenly expressed a desire to visit some places in her memory, which left her a bit puzzled. When Ema asked the reason, the response that came to mind was surprising.
(Looking into your mind isn't exactly interesting, as it would be described in human terms... Ah, yes, “looking through your mind” It’s like I’m watching a video or looking at a photo. To better understand my host, I need to see in person the places you frequented and the people you talked to)
Ema sighed as she was "forced" to her old home, the orphanage where she met her father. It made her reflect on the past. Although Ema had matured early and wasn’t exactly childish, she liked things that were often considered childish since she never had the chance to experience them as a child. Also, since she never had a representative figure in her life, she always sought her father's attention.
(Hum, hum, so this was the place where you and your sister stayed for a while before being chosen by your father, right?)
Hearing the voice in her mind, Ema furrowed her brows slightly. For some reason, the word “chosen” sounded odd to her.
(Yes, Daddy found us here)
Falling into silence, reminiscing about some past memories. Although her sister wasn’t very friendly with the other children at the orphanage, Ema was friends with almost everyone there. Thinking about it made her somewhat emotional.
(From what I see in your mind, you seem to have good memories of this place)
Ema just nodded to the words that appeared in her mind. Although she was a bit worried about whether her father would be concerned about her, she decided to set that aside for now and focus on the happy memories of the orphanage. Ema loved her current life, but that didn’t mean she would forget her past.
(Alright, I’ve seen everything I needed to here. Now, let’s go to another place. This is the one that intrigues me the most)
Ema was intrigued to hear this. In fact, she was curious to find out what piqued her symbiont’s curiosity. Following the enthusiastic directions in her mind, Ema had to admit she was having fun. It was like embarking on a real adventure.
Over time, Ema noticed that as she walked, more houses appeared, revealing a relatively populated area. However, it was clear that the area was inhabited by people from lower socioeconomic classes. Additionally, Ema felt a strange resemblance to something she had experienced in her memory, but the recollection seemed vague and imprecise.
As she was distracted, Ema suddenly bumped into something, which left her dazed for a few seconds. When she came to, she thought about apologizing, but when she looked up, she saw a familiar figure before her.
“What the hell? Aren’t you the younger sister of that woman my wife used to know?”
Ema froze briefly upon hearing the voice. It was a voice she hadn’t heard in a long time but had frequently heard in the past. Whenever this voice was present, it was never for a good reason. In fact, Ema never felt safe hearing this voice, as it was usually accompanied by yelling, screaming, and insults.
Ema tried to calm down, hoping that her father would come to her rescue. She held onto that thought deeply in her heart but was quickly pulled back to reality when something hit her on the cheek, causing her head to turn suddenly. She felt a stinging sensation; the pain and feeling were not unfamiliar to Ema, only forgotten over time.
“How dare you ignore your father’s words? Just like your mother, both of you disrespect me!”
Among the shouting and screaming, Ema could only hear the tempting voice in her mind, as if whispering a spell to her heart that promised to solve all her problems.
(Why don’t we just kill him?)
