Marvel: Spider-Man? No, I'm Superman!

Chapter 250: Chapter 250: The Battle of Fate, A Powerful Enemy!

"Help me?"

"How exactly are you planning to help me?"

The Anti-Monitor's furious expression eased slightly, though his tone remained harsh as he questioned Zombie Superman.

In his mind, Zombie Superman wouldn't be so kind as to offer help without some ulterior motive.

"I believe you've already sensed it—the sudden occurrence we're dealing with may very well come from your old friend, the Monitor..." Zombie Superman's face remained unchanged as he slowly voiced his judgment of the current situation.

"You know about the Monitor?"

Hearing the name "Monitor" from Zombie Superman's mouth shocked the Anti-Monitor.

"Of course, I know a lot of things... including exactly what's happening right now."

Zombie Superman wore a confident expression, as if everything was under his control.

"Then what are you waiting for? Tell me how to resolve this problem immediately!"

Although he was extremely curious as to how Zombie Superman knew all of this, it was clearly not the time to ask. Urgently, the Anti-Monitor pressed for answers.

"Relax, since we've agreed to cooperate, I'll naturally help you realize your grand plan to devour all the universes. But first, we might need to visit a special place."

Zombie Superman walked closer to the Anti-Monitor, standing shoulder to shoulder with him. His dark eyes, devoid of any other color, pierced through the barrier separating the antimatter universe from the matter universe, gazing into the distance.

His gaze seemed capable of traversing endless nothingness, reaching a specific, mysterious place far away.

"A place? What place?"

The Anti-Monitor followed Zombie Superman's gaze, looking out into the void beyond the antimatter universe, but he saw nothing. His curiosity was piqued.

"The beginning of time, the origin of all reality..."

Zombie Superman spoke slowly, each word carrying weight, as he revealed a place that shocked even the Anti-Monitor.

"What? The origin of all reality and time?"

After his initial shock, the Anti-Monitor quickly understood.

"Damn it! No wonder my antimatter energy couldn't detect that wretched being. He must have hidden there!"

The Anti-Monitor knew the place Zombie Superman spoke of.

It was almost impossible for anyone to enter, even his antimatter energy couldn't reach the origin of time and all things.

No wonder he hadn't been able to pinpoint the root of the current problem, despite all his efforts.

"But if I can't find it, how could you...?"

Realizing this, the Anti-Monitor was once again surprised, staring at Zombie Superman. If even he couldn't locate the beginning of time, how had this guy managed to find it?

"Of course, it's because—"

"Master, I have located their hiding place."

Just as Zombie Superman was about to explain, Batman, who had been sitting quietly behind them in deep thought, suddenly opened his pitch-black eyes and spoke in a calm voice.

"Well done. You've found them just in time."

Zombie Superman glanced at Batman with a look of approval before turning his gaze back to the Anti-Monitor, seemingly waiting for his confirmation.

Though the Anti-Monitor was shocked by everything he had just witnessed, he could only nod in agreement.

Though he initially lacked the power to leave the antimatter universe and invade the material realm, after devouring countless universes, his strength had grown immeasurably. He was no longer confined to the antimatter universe and could now freely travel to any reality or place.

"In that case, we shouldn't delay..."

Seeing no objection from the Anti-Monitor, Zombie Superman wasted no time. He raised his hand and waved forcefully.

In an instant, a surge of dark energy flowed from his hand, rapidly gathering in the void to form a massive, dark portal.

The portal slowly opened, and through it, countless figures could be seen.

...

Meanwhile, before Zombie Superman opened the portal to the origin of all things…

Barry Allen, the Flash, had just sacrificed himself to save all of reality.

In an instant, the vibration frequencies of all universes were rewritten to match the oscillations of antimatter energy.

Afterward, the wave of antimatter energy sweeping through the remaining realities passed harmlessly through the surviving universes, causing no damage or destruction.

The universes remained intact, as if untouched.

"It worked! Our plan actually worked!"

The Justice League members who had devised this plan couldn't help but cheer as they saw the universes, unscathed, still existing within the multiverse.

Even the usually stoic Batman allowed himself a small smile, his eyes gleaming with joy.

"Yes! My universe has been saved!"

At the sound of this joyful exclamation, the other heroes, who had been in a daze, quickly snapped back to reality.

Excited cheers erupted from everyone.

After all, everyone present had been fighting to prevent their universe from being consumed by antimatter.

Though they had worked hard on the plan, their minds were constantly plagued with worry about their loved ones, their friends, and the fate of their universe.

Only now did their worries about their universe's fate truly vanish.

At this moment, everyone was overjoyed, their faces beaming with relief and excitement.

Even the Monitor, who had maintained his emotionless composure throughout, showed a rare look of relief in his eyes, as if everything was finally over.

But just as everyone thought the crisis had come to an end, a massive surge of dark energy slowly materialized in the void before them.

"Huh? What the hell is that?"

The Monitor was the first to notice the appearance of the dark energy.

Without hesitation, he extended his hands, bright blue light shining from his palms.

The blue energy shot forth, piercing through the void and striking the strange dark energy.

"Damn! What kind of power is this?!"

Yet the Monitor's destructive energy failed to have any effect on the dark energy.

The darkness didn't dissipate; instead, it continued to gather in the void, forming a colossal dark portal.

As the portal opened slowly under the Monitor's astonished gaze, two figures emerged.

One of the figures was unfamiliar to him, but the other bore a striking resemblance.

He wasn't unfamiliar with this figure at all.

It was none other than the Anti-Monitor, the very being who had initiated the antimatter energy crisis.

"How is this possible? How did he find this place?"

Looking at the furious figure staring back at him, the Monitor couldn't believe his eyes.

He had chosen this location to execute their plan to counter the antimatter energy precisely because he believed that the Anti-Monitor, with his power, wouldn't be able to find it.

But now, what was happening?

...

"Monitor! Long time no see. I've finally found you!"

Seeing the Monitor's cursed figure, the Anti-Monitor's rage exploded, his entire being consumed by fury.

They say that when enemies meet, their eyes burn with hatred.

And for beings like them, who had been at odds since the dawn of the universe, their hatred for each other was unrelenting.

They both wanted nothing more than to destroy the other completely.

"Damn you! How did you even find this place?!"

The Monitor, still in shock, stared at the Anti-Monitor as he slowly emerged from the dark portal.

"Hmph, that's something you don't need to know."

"All you need to understand is that I'm here to erase you from existence!"

"And then, I will engulf the endless multiverse with my antimatter energy!"

"From now on, I will be the new ruler of the universe—the supreme being above all!"

The Anti-Monitor didn't bother explaining that Zombie Superman had helped him find this place.

With burning rage, he began gathering his immense power, preparing for the final confrontation with the Monitor.

"This is the end for you!"

With a furious shout, the Anti-Monitor raised his hands, summoning two massive beams of antimatter energy that roared toward the Monitor.

The Monitor, forced to set aside his questions, also raised his hands, gathering his power to unleash a brilliant blue beam that collided with the Anti-Monitor's energy.

Boom!

The two immense forces clashed, sending out a violent shockwave.

The terrifying impact shook even the nearby heroes, who were thrown off balance by the overwhelming force.

Fortunately, though there was a difference in power between the Monitor and the Anti-Monitor, it wasn't a vast gap.

For now, the Monitor could still hold his ground against the Anti-Monitor's antimatter energy.

"Damn, that guy is the one behind the antimatter crisis, trying to swallow up all the universes!"

As the heroes finally snapped out of their shock, they realized the full truth.

The figure who had just appeared was the one responsible for the antimatter crisis, the villain threatening to consume their worlds.

And at this moment, everyone was filled with rage.

After a brief pause, they rushed toward the Anti-Monitor with all their might.

They would use their own strength and methods to defend their universes.

Countless heroes surged toward the Anti-Monitor.

Leading the charge, of course, was Superman, one of the strongest among them.

Several Superman figures flew toward the Anti-Monitor, nearly neck and neck, eyes blazing with fury.

Their minds flashed back to the countless universes swallowed by antimatter energy, the endless lives destroyed in front of their eyes.

"Give back the innocent universes and lives you destroyed!"

The Superman at the forefront, overwhelmed with anger, poured all his strength into his attack on the Anti-Monitor.

Seeing the countless figures charging at him, the Anti-Monitor, though capable of defeating them all easily, couldn't help but feel unsettled by the sight of so many heroes focused on him.

Just as he was about to unleash his antimatter energy to repel them, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking the heroes' path.

"I'll handle them. You settle your unfinished fight with your enemy!"

Zombie Superman, standing between the heroes and the Anti-Monitor, had arrived.

And just as he appeared, Batman, his subordinates, and other powerful villains who had served the Anti-Monitor before arrived as well.

"Leave these guys to us!"
