Chapter 13: Riddler
The design of the prison part is very simple, a corridor aisle, next to a parallel single room, inside it is housed in various villains.
These single rooms seem to be nothing but transparent glass. You can see each other inside and outside, but it is obvious that ordinary glass can't do it if you can close these guys. They are definitely special materials.
"The riddler, the double-faced, the mud face, Harley Quinn, the killer crocodile, the scarecrow, the ventriloquist...it really is a lot of talents."
Jude called out their names one by one as he walked, but there was no one in the hallway, which was strange.
"Who is there?"
"It's strange that a cloud of air is talking."
"Is that guy Hugo's new toy?"
"Get out, crawl!"
The riddler slowly got up from the bed, and his eyes flicked back and forth cleverly: "Which Mr. Invisible is it? I am Edward Nikoma, the riddler they call."
Jude walked to the riddler’s prison and looked at the unkempt thin man and said: "Nigma, I heard that you like guessing very much. Why don't you guess what I am doing in Arkham?"
The riddler’s eyes looked right and left, seeming to be looking for Jude’s position, and he said while watching: "It's very simple. A free man comes to Arkham for two purposes."
"The first is for Batman or Gotham City. You need our old opponents to trouble that bat so that you can implement your own plans."
"Secondly, a new batch of experimental subjects arrived just a few days ago. You must be for them. Let me guess, there are your friends or family members, right?"
Jude couldn't help but nodded in praise. The guy in front of him was really thoughtful and an intellectual opponent of Batman. He guessed his intentions when he met him.
Who knows the riddler continued: "You are silent, then it proves that I guessed correctly, let me guess again, which of these two purposes is true, I personally prefer the second."
"Why?"
"Because you are a newcomer."
"What's the meaning?"
"I have never heard of an invisible man in Gotham. This shows that you are a newcomer and can use invisible technology. I think you have a high IQ, and you are likely to be a scientist."
"Think about it, would a high IQ scientist badass give up the fun of beating that bat exclusively? This is impossible, especially when you have not tasted the taste of failure."
"You can only be extremely arrogant, thinking that you are surpassing everyone, just like me, just like me, right?"
"So I think you can never come for Batman and Gotham, then the answer is very clear, you want to save people, but don't know where they are locked up, you need...help."
Happiness!
Jude patted his palms: "Very wonderful reasoning, Nigma, your psychology is very good."
"Thanks for the compliment, I seem to be right."
"Very correct, so who can tell me now, where is the so-called Arkham?"
The riddler laughed and said, "Even if it is here, not everyone has been there. Mudface, Harley Quinn, and the double-faced people don't have this honor, but I do."
"So it's better to make a deal, Mr. Invisible Man."
Jude said, "You said."
"My request is very simple. Leaving Arkham, I am going crazy here. A full year, two months and 13 days. To be precise, it is now 14 days after midnight."
"I can't stay for a minute, no one here can accompany me to guess the riddles, and I'm surrounded by a group of monkeys with low IQs."
"Hey! Riddler, you are too mean to speak like this!"
"Come on, Halle, although you have the title of a psychiatrist, it has nothing to do with IQ. Even a donkey can get it through systematic learning."
"What! How dare you say that! I'm going to smash your teeth and put them as a question mark."
"The advantage of your tongue, you are just a clown's attendant, and you are not qualified to talk to me."
"Nonsense, Mr. J promised me personally that we will get married on the 24th of next month."
"Oh! Comeon! The woman in love is so stupid as a pig, what month is next? I tell you, next month of this month or next month, next month of next month is still next month, you It’s never possible to marry a clown, because that lunatic only treats you as a toy, a toy that can be thrown away at any time."
"No!"
Harley Quinn roared violently and rushed towards the glass, trying to break out of the cell, but when she just hit the glass, a surge of electricity instantly bounced her out.
"Is this the second defense?" Looking at the current, Jude thought to himself.
"Okay Nigma, I don't want to hear you talk, can you take me to the depths of Arkham and answer me!"
"Of course, just let me out."
"This is simple, step back, and you will be able to get out of here immediately."
The riddler waved his hand and said, "Calm down, man, you don't understand this. This prison is not ordinary glass with high voltage attached to it. As long as it is subjected to external forces, it will be released immediately. If you mess up, I It will become a pile of coke."
"But don't worry, according to my calculations, its control center should be located in the southwest corner of Arkham. With your ability to be invisible, you can easily turn off the switch. Then..."
"Shut up, you talk too much nonsense!"
Jude said and pulled the trigger, and the freezing rays continued to shoot out, quickly freezing the whole prison.
Then there was a bang, and the glass made of unknown material was kicked to pieces.
"What? It's impossible. Nobody can do it. Why can you do it?"
"For a genius, nothing is impossible. Have you never heard of Absolute Zero?"
"Of course I know that at absolute zero, when the temperature of an object reaches that state, all molecules inside will stop moving."
"Yes, no matter how strong the current is, it depends on the movement of electrons to achieve its existence. The electrons stop moving and the current disappears naturally. The same is true for this piece of glass. In front of me, it is just a biscuit."
The riddler still frowned and said: "You don't need to use science for basic knowledge. I just don't understand. Absolute zero should be just a theoretical conjecture. It is impossible to achieve in reality. Why can you do it?"
Jude snorted, thinking you didn’t know the iceman in the X-Men. As an Omega-level mutant, his potential is still higher than that of the phoenix. As long as he can develop to the absolute zero level, freezing the earth, the sun, Black holes are not a problem.
Even light, time, space, and the universe can be frozen. Because the movement stops, everything is returned to nothingness.
"My rays have not reached absolute zero, but it is more than enough to deal with a piece of glass. Now fulfill your obligations, otherwise I will turn you into an ice sculpture, a riddler."
Nikoma laughed and said: "It turns out that it slowed down the speed of the molecule. I understand. Come with me."
