Marvel Brodcast : Spoiling Spider-man

Chapter 12: Chapter 12 Rescue Norman

"Thank you, Peter Parker...no...Spider-Man!" The leading policeman saluted Peter, thanking him for subduing the Green Goblin. Although it caused some damage, it was inevitable.

"You're welcome. May I ask, what will happen to him?" Peter looked at the Green Goblin who had stopped struggling. After this tragic defeat, the Green Goblin shrank back and was now dominated by Norman's original personality again.

"Peter... Harry, I'm leaving him to you. I made a big mistake. I was too impatient." Norman looked at Peter weakly and asked him to help take care of Harry. Peter nodded in agreement.

"We may have to wait for a decision from the higher-ups. We little guy can't do anything about this kind of thing." The policeman said helplessly.

Peter nodded when he heard this. At this time, Norman had been taken to the police car and detained. The police also put handcuffs and leg cuffs on him, although Peter felt that they might not be of much use.

But the most urgent task is to find out why Norman has become like this. Norman in the screen mentioned a serum, and he wanted to look for them and study whether he can help cure Norman's evil personality.

[A new clip suddenly appeared in the screen, and the General, who had been killed, was looking at the glider developed by Oscorp Industries and said that he did not come for the glider.]

[Norman hurried to the laboratory and greeted the general. The general asked about the effect of the super soldier serum. The doctor in charge said that after the mice was injected by it, their physical strength increased eightfold, but there was a side effect.]

[The general wanted to know what the side effects were, and learned that they were violent tendencies, aggression, and madness. When he asked the doctor for any suggestions, Norman stepped forward and interrupted Dr. Mendel Stromm, explaining that all they need to do now is human experimentation]

[The general ignored Norman and looked directly at Dr. Mendel Stromm. The doctor bluntly said that the entire research must be returned to the equation stage. The general sighed when he heard this. Norman turned around and looked at the doctor in disbelief. ]

[The general told Norman that he had never supported Norman and that Norman's plan was approved by his predecessor. He also told him that he had approved the Quest Aerospace to conduct the armor experiments.]

[He bluntly said that if the human trials of the serum failed, he would withdraw his funding and give the funds to other companies, and then he left.]

[But the screen did not show how Peter became Spider-Man, but jumped directly to Norman trying to use himself as a human experiment in the laboratory. Dr. Mendel Stromm kept persuading him not to do so, warning him that the experiment had not yet succeeded.]

[He wants Norman to give him some more time, but Norman says that if he doesn't get the contract, Oscorp Industries will have to close down.]

[Seeing Norman's determined face, the doctor could only help him get a catalyst, which could make the serum absorb into the human body faster]

[Dr. Mendel Stromm helped him fix it and put it into the machine. The doctor looked hesitant, but Norman nodded at him. The doctor had no choice but to press the switch. The green serum behind him quickly vaporized and was sucked into Norman's body.]

[The green smoke completely covered Norman, and Norman's heart rate soared wildly, and his whole body was twitching. The doctor hurriedly expelled the gas, but Norman had already rolled his eyes and his heart rate dropped to 0.]

[Dr. Mendel Stromm ran to Norman with an anxious look on his face, kept calling his name, opened the immobilizer, and started CPR on him. The heart rate machine behind him started beating again. Just as the doctor turned around to look, Norman suddenly opened his eyes, grabbed Dr. Mendel Stromm's neck, and threw him out and smashed him against a machine.]

[The scene changes to Harry entering the room and finding Norman lying on the ground. He rushes forward to help him up, but Norman has no memory of what happened last night. At this time, a lady rushes in and tells Norman that Dr. Mendel was murdered in the laboratory, and his suit and glider were also stolen.]

When Harry saw this scene, he recalled that it had indeed happened, but because it was a company matter, he did not ask too much. It turned out that his father had already turned into the Green Goblin at that time, but the personality had not yet been completely integrated.

The military and the people at Oscorp Industries did not expect that the serum would have such serious side effects. In addition, the person in charge, Dr. Mendel Stromm, had died, so they decided to temporarily abandon the research on the serum and restart it when the side effects of the evil personality could be solved.

At this moment, the narration on the screen sounded again:

[Peter Parker, you changed Norman's fate. Norman should have died, but you saved him before everything was irreversible. This is a reward for you.]

A ray of light fell from the screen and landed in Peter's hand. When the light dissipated, it turned out to be a syringe. Peter suddenly realized that this was the medicine to cure Norman's evil personality. He chased the police car without hesitation and injected the syringe into Norman's body.

"What is that?" A policeman put his hand on his pistol but did not pull it out. He just looked at Peter. Putting his hand on the gun was just his muscle memories.

"The syringe given by The Screen can solve Norman Osborn's violent tendencies. It's a reward for me." Peter was also frank. After hearing that it was the antidote, the police also breathed a sigh of relief.

They don't be fooled by Norman's harmless face now. If you have seen the scene where he fought with Spider-Man, you will know that the escorting policemen were all terrified, fearing that the Green Goblin would suddenly attack and hurt them.

J. Jonah Jameson was frowning because his behavior on The Screen caused many people in New York to stop buying his newspaper. This morning, the sales of the newspaper were less than one-tenth of the usual amount, which was like a thunder strike for him.

[Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, the Age of Fear, this is the headline on the front page of the Daily Bugle today, J. Jonah Jameson said proudly, and asked Hoffman to help him apply for the copyright.]

[Peter felt that this was malicious slander against Spider-Man, and that he did not attack the city, but J. Jonah Jameson disagreed with him and told him directly that slander was just speaking, but printing it was defamation.]

[Peter felt that Jameson didn't trust anyone, so he stood up and tried to leave. However, J. Jonah Jameson's cigar flew out of the window and then flew back. Then the Green Goblin smashed the glass and grabbed Jameson's neck, asking him to tell him who provided the photo of Spider-Man.]

[J. Jonah Jameson was very tough this time and did not expose Peter, telling him that it was Spider-Man who sent it himself. The Green Goblin did not believe it, but J. Jonah Jameson still held on tightly and refused to let go. Just when the Green Goblin was about to attack, Peter as Spider-man appeared from behind him in time, and J. Jonah Jameson escaped. ]

[However, as soon as Jameson stood up, he accused Spider-Man of being the Green Goblin accomplice. Peter directly blocked his mouth with spider web and told him not to interrupt. As a result, he was accidentally poisoned by the Green Goblin's hypnotic gas, fell from the air and fainted, and was taken away by the Green Goblin. ]
