Martial Peak: Chaos Dragon Emperor

Everyone looked towards the smoke, when they saw a phantom of a giant golden dragon, more than a hundred meters in length, coming out of it, soaring into the sky while releasing another roar before fading away. This scene stunned everyone present, as they stared at the fading dragon with awe.

Only after the dragon faded did everyone look back towards the smoke which gradually disappeared, allowing everyone to look at the result of the terrifying clash. There, they saw Yang Feng standing in front of a barely recognizable corpse of the Tyrannical Force King, which stunned everyone.

The people of the alliance were overjoyed and filled with determination upon witnessing the result. Contrary to their response, the ones from Ash-Gray Cloud grew pale and lost some of their courage, this was because the Tyrannical Force King was third strongest Evil King of their faction (not including Yang Bai as he is the demon lord), but this third strongest of their was reduced to such a state within an hour of fighting.

After this result, the next battles that took place were a little more one sided as the 'Evil' side had lost some of their will to fight, which continued to drop as the battle went on and countless people from their side we're being killed.

Within a few hours, more than half of the troop of Ash-Gray Cloud were killed, with a little more than 15% loss on the side of the collation. This was possible because Yang Feng helped in killing three more Transcendents from the enemy troops, before he along with the free powerhouses went on a killing spree by killing the normal troops.

Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang had also joined in a bit later after having killed their own opponents who were the same Yin Ghost King and Poison King. After halfway through the battle, Yang Feng told Shan Qing Luo to fall back, which she did.

Yang Bai who had defeated Ling Taixu and the Clan Patriarch again, during which three of the heads had died, was at this moment looking at the unfolding scene in front of him. Although he knew that this would be the result, he hadn't thought that it would be happen this early.

Shaking his head, he observed the array and found that it was near completely charged. "My Lord, we will lose now if you don't take any action.", said with obvious sadness, and concealed fury, the second last loyal Evil King (he knows about Shan Qing Luo betraying his faction and retreating), the Thunderbolt Beast King.

"Yeah, I think it's time.", muttered Yang Bai. The Thunderbolt Beast King was somewhat relieved that Yang Bai had finally decided to join in the battle. But... This relief didn't last even for a few seconds as it changed into unadulterated rage, as he suddenly coughed out blood.

He looked at Yang Bai with bloodshot eyes and shouted, "WHY!?.. YOU BASTARD!... WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS! HAVE WE NOT BEEN LOYAL ENOUGH THAT NOW KILLING US!"

Yang Bai looked down at him with a look of indifference and detachment as if Beast King's words didn't mean anything to him, which really didn't matter. Yang Bai spoke, "...and? ... Should it matter to me that a bunch of ants who don't even have a brain and only know about fighting or hiding, following me? You all have been nothing but my pawns, pawns those have now served their purpose. You should feel honored, your about to be a part of a great cause."

Hearing Yang Bai's words, the Beast King broke out in a self-depricating laugh. He laughed, at his and his fellow's stupidity in following this demon, at his approaching death, at the trust he had on this demon, but most of all at his weakness.

With that last laugh, the Beast King's body exploded into blood mist and his soul scattered. Yang Bai looked on as the blood touched the ground and the array absorbed it. When the blood energy was completely absorbed, he felt the array completely charge.

"It's done." Yang Bai said as he looked around himself and started to float in the air.

On the other side, when Yang Bai killed the Beast King and the array was fully charged, Yang Feng, who was also paying close attention to Yang Bai and the array, also felt it. He turned towards Meng Wu Ya, Su Yan, Xia Ning Chang, Dong Su Zhu, Yang Ying Feng, Yang Kai, Hu Jiao'er, Hu Mie'er and Qiu Yi Meng and said, "The array's is charged."

The others had varying expressions to this news as everyone knew what it meant. The next moment, every living inhabitant current inside Capital City felt the city tremble before a blinding lights enveloped everyone's vision for a few seconds, along with a terrible boom of explosion that shock the already shaking city even further, causing many building that had held on since the start of the war to collapse.

When the light faded and the shaking stopped, everyone opened their eyes and looked at the scene that scared them to their core and sent a chill down their spines. They found out that a massive hole had formed near the center of the city, a little away Yang Kai's Mansion. The size of that hole was nearly 1/10 of the entire area of the city.

But that hole wasn't all, as many smaller ones, at least compared to the massive one, had also opened throughout the city. The depth of these holes couldn't be found out even with the divine sense of varying powerhouses.

While everyone contemplated on about what had suddenly happened, no one noticed that a few people had entered these holes.

As the group of Yang Feng, Xia Ning Chang, Su Yan, Meng Wu Ya and Yang Kai along with the blood warriors, entered the hole and descended, they all could feel a great surge in the quantity of Qi around them, but the group ignored it and continued to go further down.

A few minutes of descending at a great speed led them to a solid ground. They looked around and and saw many cave like paths leading to multiple directions, with strands of condensed Qi's flowing between them.

Yang Feng and the others spread out their divine sense to look around and find Yang Bai. It was then that Yang Feng noticed something, 'huh, why is the Qi so condensed there?'

When he spread out his divine sense, he saw that in some places, the Qi of the Earth Vein is alot more condensed than the other. This shouldn't have happened as this was the lowest quality Earth Vein and should only have one epicenter, which would be it's core and the place where Yang Bai would have opened the space corridor.

Yang Feng then remembered something and thought about it a bit and found that it was quite possible. When he was younger, he had placed multiple Qi Condensing and Qi Gathering Arrays around the Yang Clan Compound. Now, it looks like those arrays had also effected the Earth Vein somewhat and made those points where he had placed the arrays to have more concentration of Qi.

"Alright everyone, we'll go separately from here. When you find Yang Bai, don't engage him on your own and look for others.", after receiving nods from others, Yang Feng looked at Meng Wu Ya and said, "come with me."

Meng Wu Ya raised an eye before following Yang Feng while taking both Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang with him. They followed Yang Feng till they reached a cave room where the Qi was alot more condensed and gathered than the other caves.

Meng Wu Ya looked at the vast amount of Qi and could tell that this much Qi could help him loosen his seal a bit more. He looked at Yang Feng and saw him looking back at him with a look that said, 'what are you waiting for. We don't have much time.'

Clicking his tounge at the look Yang Feng was giving him, he sat down cross legged and started to use the Qi to loosen the seal. Yang Feng looked on and knew that the Qi might not be enough for breaking the second layer of the seal, so after thinking about it, he took out a few things from his inventory.

One was a type of token and the other was a pouch. After withdrewing these things, Yang Feng crushed the token. As he did, the Qi from the surroundings and from he other points of concentrated Qi, started to swim towards their position at torrential speed.

The token he had taken out was a type of array plate which he had made to instantaneously gather a huge amount of Qi from various points, where he would first have to arrange an array (at each point). This cave where they now stood, was directly under his family house which was the hub of the other Qi gathering arrays on the ground.

Feeling the Qi entering the cave, Yang Feng nodded in satisfaction as this would be enough for breaking the 2nd seal on Meng Wu Ya, so he took the pouch back into his inventory, which contained a hundred saint crystals. What? Resources were important, especially for him. So he would try to safe as many as he can.

Meng Wu Ya felt the sudden increase of Qi around him along with Yang Feng's presence as he sat down behind him and helped him in breaking the seal, like when he did back then. The two controlled the Qi and like previous time attacked the weak point of the seal.

After five minutes, the seal broke under the constant overpowered attack of the two, causing Meng Wu Ya's strength to soar from Peak 2nd Order Transendant to Peak 1st Order Saint.

Yang Feng looked at Meng Wu Ya's cultivation, along with Su Yan and Xia Ning Chang who had been observing and protecting the two, and nodded to himself. Back when he hadn't broken through to the Transendant Realm, he had thought of using the Earth Vein to breakthrough to the 2nd or even 3rd stage Transcendent Realm before.

But after he had really broken through to the Transendant Realm, he knew that wouldn't be quite possible. His Qi's quality rose to whole new level when it had liquified, which caused even spiritual stones to have too low of an effect on his cultivation. According to his estimate, while it would take others a thousand spiritual stones to advance, it would take him several tens of thousands to do so.

Yang Feng took a deep breath and stood up, along with Meng Wu Ya who started to laugh loudly. Yang Feng shook his head and reminded him that they still need to catch up to Yang Bai, to which he nodded eagerly.

Meng Wu Ya with his 1st Order Saint Divine Sense and tracking method was able to locate Yang Bai really fast and the four quickly went there.

After reaching the place, they saw Yang Bai fighting against the remaining previous clan patriarchs and blood warriors, also noticing a void corridor on the other end of the cave. When they entered the cave, everyone's attention was drawn to them and the fight suddenly stop.

"So your here as well, martial nephew.", said Yang Bai. Yang Feng looked at him and said, "yeah, had a long distance ride waiting for me here."

Yang Bai narrowed his eyes a bit at his words. He then said in a hard tone, " You still have a choice, join me and you will enter that world and gain more power than anyone in this world can imagine, or I kill you."

Yang Feng snorted and with a look of disdain on his face said, "will you shut up your bitching. You always talk about greater power and talk to everyone in this world with disdain. But tell me, are you even worthy..." Sneering at Yang Bai's now rage filled face Yang Feng continued.

"You only know of Tong Xuan Realm because of the corpse of the demon general, otherwise you were nothing but an ant who had turned into a cripple. You think you're great? You're nothing but a dog talking about being superior while you yourself are just but a slightly bigger ant in that world."

Now, Yang Bai's face turned from red to black, he wanted to counteract but couldn't find anything wrong with Yang Feng's words, as he had said, he was nothing but a slightly bigger ant. Yang Bai looked at Yang Feng and spoke in a deadly voice, "I had given you a chance, but you refused me repeatedly. Now, face the consequences."

As he said this, he sped towards Yang Feng with his extreme speed and threw out a palm attack. Yang Feng, still sneering, also used his complete strength and threw out a punch. The two attacks cancelled each other out, which shocked Yang Bai. Although he didn't use his complete strength, the attack was not something even a Early 2nd Order Transendant could cancel out.

This made him take Yang Feng a bit more seriously as he powered up his attack and punched. Yang Feng too used his Qi and again cancelled out the punch, with a grin on his face.

After that Yang Bai and Yang Feng looked at each other and suddenly started to move at a high speed and started to fight, with punches, palms and kicks. Each attack of the other was perfectly countered, much to Yang Bai's irritation.

It didn't take them long to start using techniques to power their attacks. Yang Feng had increased his Qi output even more which enhanced each his strike with his Overlord Fist. (Just so you all remember, Yang Feng had incorporated Overlord Fist into his normal fighting style and so I stopped adding this into each of his fight. Whenever he uses his Qi during a punching motion, his body would automatically go through the process of Overlord Fist. Also with the increase of input of his Qi, the strength of his punches will also increase.)

Yang Bai had also stopped holding back and started to deliver strike after strike. Their fight caused the ground to shake, but Meng Wu Ya used his Qi to sustain the cave thus stopping it from falling.

After a few minutes into the fight, Yang Bai started feeling unease which increased with the duration of the fight. Now he had had enough, he couldn't waste more time here as he knew that the void corridor wouldn't last for long, and so with a shout he used nearly all of his strength to make a final attack.

Yang Feng who by now was fully focused the fight, saw Yang Bai making his final attack. By now Yang Feng had estimated his complete strength, he could fight evenly with a Peak Third Order Transendant by only using his Qi and Body cultivation and if he used his Chaos Flame, Emperor's Might and weapons and techniques, he might be able to fight a 1st Order Saint to a standstill or even defeat one.

Readying himself, Yang Feng made a punching motion. He used his Qi and made his skin, muscles, bones vibrate at a high frequency, along with making a second skin of pure concentrated Qi which also vibrated at the same frequency. As he did so, the air around him crackled and twisted. His fist which was now covered by a second skin of Qi also released crunching sounds.

*Feueee*, releasing a deep breath Yang Feng punched at Yang Bai, who also punched at him, "Distortion Fist..."

The next moment, a boom sounded and Yang Bai was thrown back with great speed, his arm that he used to punch out was now gone, having exploded into blood mist, and was coughing out blood and pieces organs.

Yang Feng while stood in the same spot had his arm, that he used for attack, bleeding a bit, which was already healing, with his passive healing. '*sigh* looks like my body still isn't strong enough to use this technique without a backlash. I wonder when I'll be able to use it to the fullest to destroy world and daos.'

Yang Feng then used Void Steps and appeared in front of Yang Bai and again used the distortion fist, this time intending to hit his head. But before he could, he felt something, which made his expressions twist and he swiftly distanced himself from Yang Bai.

With a maniacal laugh, Yang Bai made a comment of how he would take them all down with him as he knew that he couldn't escape now with him injured and thrown farthest away from a cave enterance and the Void Corridor.

As he was about to blow himself up, Meng Wu Ya swiftly appeared in front of him and placed a hand on his abdomen, quickly controlling his rampaging Qi and sealing it. Meng Wu Ya sighed in relief a bit. It was fortunate that the 2nd layer of his seal was broken and also the fact that Yang Bai didn't have much time to make his Qi run rampant, otherwise it would have not been possible to do so.

After neutralizing Yang Bai, Meng Wu Ya looked at Yang Feng and said," what do you want to do with him now?". Yang Feng also calmed down and said, "kill him.", while taking out his sword and with a sweep of it, he severed the head of the sealed Yang Bai, who didn't even have the time to process what had transpired.

All this happened as the others (the patriarchs, blood warriors and Yang Kai) looked on, Yang Kai had been present here since the start but because of his limited strength, had to stay hidden.

Yang Feng then turned towards Yang Kai, throwing Yang Bai's severed head towards him, "Xiao Kai, show this to father and grandmaster for me." Yang Kai nodded and placed the head wrapped in a cloth inside his universe bag.

Yang Kai then looked at the void corridor and asked with curiousity, "is that the passage?" Yang Feng nodded and replied, "yeah, it is. This world is just a small world connected to Tong Xuan Realm. To reach Tong Xuan Realm or any cultivation star from a connected small world, one need to either have strength beyond the small world can hold or find a void corridor that leads to the Cultivation Star."

"You'll probably find a similar Void Corridor in the place I told you about.", Yang Feng continued to which Yang Kai nodded. After a few seconds, Yang Kai asked, "you all ready?"

Yang Feng smiled and said with a chuckle, "yeah." He then gave Yang Kai a brotherly hug before saying, "take care of mother and father while your here. Also ... Don't do anything that I won't *chuckle*"

Yang Kai snorted at the last comment but still nodded. "Brat, the corridor won't stay opened forever, we need to leave.", Yang Feng sighed before giving Yang Kai and his blood warriors a final nod and followed as Meng Wu Ya, Xia Ning Chang and Su Yan entered the corridor. As he was about to entered the corridor, his thoughts drifted to the final conversation he had with Shan Qing Luo.

~FlashBack Starts~

Shan Qing Luo was sitting sideways on Yang Feng's lap while hugging him and laying her head on his muscular chest. It had nearly been a month since the Demon Lord Yang Bai left her behind in War City to keep an eye on the situation here.

In the last month, she had bonded well with her future sister wives and her bond with Yang Feng grew even stronger. Today, she came here as Yang Feng had called her saying that he wanted to talk to her.

"...we'll be leaving for Capital City tomorrow.", Yang Feng said suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence that had last for well over an hour. "*Sigh* so things are going to get heretic, huh.", Shan Qing Luo muttered softly. She knew the situation there and knew that soon this momentary peace will shatter.

"Unfortunately yeah... When the fights begin, everyone in the mansion will probably avoid battling you, but you would have to be careful from the others. While I won't tell you to not even take part in the war, I just want to to retreat from the City when I tell you, can you do that?", Yang Feng replied and requested of her.

After a minute of silence, Shan Qing Luo sighed and nodded, causing Yang Feng to smile. Although he doesn't like to tell his girls what to do as he knows that they are capable enough, he didn't want her to be present during last battle, which would definitely result in some injuries, which would also give her the perfect opportunity to retreat.

"... you'll be leaving after the war, right?", Shan Qing Luo suddenly asked, the question caused Yang Feng's chest to tighten as he had not yet told her about it, though he called her here for this very purpose.

"*Sigh* who told you?", he asked softly while running his hand through her silky soft hair. She moaned lightly at his touch and said, "I was talking with the Sister Su and Sister Xia when they told me about it."

Yang Feng nodded lightly and said, "yeah, we'll be leaving. But ... not after the war. We might ... leave directly after the final battle.", Shan Qing Luo sharply separated slightly from him, not leaving the hug, and narrowed her eyes. She uttered a single word, "explain."

Yang Feng gulped and chuckled warily before telling her about the small world, Yang Bai's plan and about the Earth Vein and the Void Corridor, about cultivation stars and various things. Throughout his explaining, she kept quite and took in all the knowledge.

After Yang Feng finished, he saw a look of conflict on her face and knew what her thoughts might be like. He then said something that caught her attention, "don't think to much, Luo'er. You don't have to follow me to Tong Xuan Realm if you don't want to. It ... Might be better if .. you didn't go."

Seeing her questioning look, he said, "I know you have attachment to your city and want to atleast make things go back to order they were before the war and leave behind someone to protect it before you leave, so it won't be possible for you to leave with me. The second reason is that, I felt something, when we were in the spider mother's nest the last time... According to what I have estimated and saw, there is an small alter, deeper into the nest, which releases some space force. Now from what I can tell, that alter is somehow connected to the spider mother's, and through her your, bloodline and after absorbing some blood from that bloodline and Qi, should open a Void Corridor to a world connected to the spider clan.... Look what I want to say is, there's a great opportunity waiting for you there and you should take it after you have everything in order, alright?"

Yang Feng told her as she listened with surprised expressions. After a few minutes of silent thinking, she asked, "and how and when will I meet you later on?". Yang Feng said in a slightly strained voice, "I don't know about the how nor the when. But as you already know about the spiritual connection between us, you would be able to feel my presence when you focus and should know when we're near... We might be apart for a few years, but I WILL come to you."

Yang Feng said the last words with utmost conviction.

'I hope you have a good life like you did in the original, till I come to look for you.', with that final thought Yang Feng enter the Void Corridor.
