Chapter 5
04. Liquidation of divestiture
Tobias came into the conference room just before 2: 00.
In addition to Darya, there were already guild attendants and notaries in the room.
Scissors a large table, Tobias and Dahlia face to face, one by one sitting beside them.
The notary sat one empty seat.
“We will now proceed with the process of breaking the contract and clearing the joint nominal account, based on the delivery of the proof of engagement. There are two more people present than the guild, Gabriella Jeddah, deputy guild director, and I, Ivano Badoel, contract manager, will keep you company.”
The introducing Ivano meets gently with Gabriella. Gabriella was sitting next to Darya and Ivano next to Tobias.
“I, Dominic Kempfel, am the notary.”
The old man with gray hair also gave a light meeting.
It is the longest notary in the commercial guild and has the highest number of nominations.
Both Dahlia’s father and Tobias’s father are notaries who take the most care of them.
“We will then first cancel and liquidate the joint nominal account of the two of you in the order of the commercial guild for the purpose of breaking the contract. Dear Tobias Orlando, I am glad that the amount deposited in the joint name of Daria Rossetti is 40 gold coins, this one in full, and 20 returns to both of you half at a time.”
When Darya and Tobias accepted, Ivano widened the package next to the account filling documents.
A blue cloth was placed in front of each, and 20 gold coins were piled there.
With these 20 gold coins, is it roughly 2 million or so?
Profits from the original Magic Instruments previously registered with the Commercial Alliance, as well as sales of items made from requisitions.
Generally speaking, it seems to be a bit of a large sum, but since the production of magic conductors costs materials and research, it is really necessary to store more.
Also, there is no insurance in this world, so it was an emergency savings in the event of illness or injury.
“Next, in the proof of engagement, we will discuss the breakdown of the engagement.” Twelve gold coins as compensation to the other party than the one who caused the divestiture of the engagement “. Which one is this from?
“It’s from me.”
Turn your usual ‘me’ into ‘me’, says Tobias. I went on, “12 gold coins,” and I heard him crush it small.
Darya doesn’t know if she thinks this compensation is cheap or expensive.
“Now it will be 12 sheets to Dear Darya. Dear Tobias, would you mind moving your returns from here?
“Yes.”
Twelve of the twenty gold coins were moved toward Dahlia.
“The next contract concerns a new house built during the engagement period. The price of the house is bought for 100 gold coins, 50 Tobias and 50 Dahlia. At present, the name is joint. This is a bisection of the profits from selling the house, or the party wishing to own it later, is supposed to return the amount paid by the other party at the time of purchase. How about this?
“I want to own it”
Listen silently to Tobias say as he normally does.
“Okay. Now pay Darya 50 gold coins”
To Ivano’s words, Tobias lined up 20 pieces of gold from the bag he had brought beside the eight pieces of gold in front of him. And with every blue cloth, I pushed it forward to Dahlia.
“Darya, wait a minute for the rest. I don’t have the money for the house right now. I’ll return it as soon as I get in.”
“What?”
It was Ivano sitting next to Tobias, not Dahlia, who made the loose voice between them.
Gabriella goes on with the words so as to make up for it.
“You can’t change your name until you’ve paid, can you?
“Yeah, if it’s not enough, I’ll return it directly to Dalya. With Darya’s approval, you can change your name at the bureau, right?
………
Darya was stunned.
From the woman who deserted her engagement to what world, is there a man who tries to borrow the money for the house where she lives with her cheater?
Besides, instead of asking me to sneak it in the shadows, there are idiots who say, as a matter of course, that it is even natural to have it loaned to them in a commercial guild, where they have their witnesses and notaries in place?
Unfortunately, I’m right in front of you.
Tobias, whom I had ever known, and Dominic, who was present, coughed about twice as loudly, saying that the man in front of me never overlapped.
“I can’t recommend it because renaming without payment can be very troublesome… How about that?
“Please change your name after payment”
Darya naturally says no.
“That’s trouble! I promised Emilia I’d live right over there!
There was silence.
Tobias without the next word, whilst being wolfish about what I said by accident.
The question mark about what you’re talking about sticks to Ivano’s face.
Gabriella whose mouth shapes a beautiful grin but whose eyes are not laughing at all.
Dominic is holding the paperwork back to the point where his fingers turn white without changing his expression at all.
Darya was doing everything in her power to shredder her brain with memories that weren’t bad during her engagement, as she put that into perspective.
“Mr. Orlando has credit, so we can lend it to you in a commercial guild.”
The first to break the silence was Gabriella.
Heading to Tobias, still wandering, only Zhu’s lips laugh lusciously.
It must have been on purpose to call him Orlando, the surname, not Tobias’ name.
“I have some future work to do, so let me lend it to you in monthly installments. If you’re going to live with a new woman, you’re not going to like ‘liquidation’.”
“… sorry, please…”
A mosquito-like voice sounded.
Upon finishing writing the documents relating to the break-up of the engagement and the debt, Tobias left the room to flee.
The conference room next door to the reception counter is a fairly vocal place.
Tobias’s story as much as just now will be someone’s liquor dish tonight.
Darya finally stood up while suppressing a headache that lasted a long time.
And thank the three remaining people on the spot and try to leave the room.
“Um, Mr. Dalya. It may be rude to ask this…”
The mustard (from) colored haired man who bound the paperwork asked in a low voice.
“No, Mr. Ivano, please don’t hesitate”
“Mr. Tobias, have you been such a ba, no, such a person, for a long time?
I could understand with complete conscience what I was about to call such an idiot.
Darya has a long, distant eye.
“I first found out today too……”
“Uh, Mr. Dalya, are you okay?
“It would be a lie to say there’s nothing to it…… there’s nothing I can do about it, and I think that’s enough. If you think you’re going to be free to make magic tools, that’s going to get you over it.”
I said as I thought about it, but that was the real deal.
“Good day, Miss Dahlia”
The next person I spoke to was Dominic.
“No, thank you very much. Mr. Dominic.”
“Thank you very much for your father. I was going to pass away first, but they moved on, and I haven’t been able to repay you. Talk to me whenever you have any problems. It doesn’t have to be a notary’s request.”
“Yes, thank you”
To Dominic’s low voice, I remember my father. His concern seems really hard right now.
“Now that the process is over, what will Mr. Dalya do now?
“I will go to my new home once and have the furniture brought home. I just came out this morning, so I’m just gonna keep going back, so it’s gonna be easy.”
Gently nodding to Darya’s words, Gabriella opened the door wide with both hands.
It was only a little laughable that the officials who wanted this one distracted themselves at the same time.
Gabriella looked back slowly and laughed gracefully at Darya.
“Oh, let me just say one thing. Congratulations on breaking your engagement.”
