Chapter 14: You have got to be Kidding Me!
The two people looked up; their eyes were dilated like they were intoxicated. A heavy fog clouds their glassy eyes, whereas their breath stinks like sour wine.
Sebastian was filled with intense nausea that crawled inside his stomach. One person to the right, the man who looks at Sebastian up and down as if he was analyzing him like a prey. Someone to devour.
These fools.
The man who was scanning Sebastian in a greedy way that made Sebastian want to claw his eyes out. The man tapped the other man's shoulder, and an unpleasant smile appeared on his face, giving a reptilian stare like a gazing at a fat meat. "Hey, look at the beauty in front of us."
I'm going to kill them!
Sebastian thought with a grimace, not realizing that his iris is slowly becoming dark crimson. The bloodlust slowly appeared in the atmosphere, making the two men uneasy and the people around.
All of a sudden, they felt goosebumps crawling down their spine like standing before a dangerous man. A gasp left their lips. Did his eyes just become red like blood? How is that possible?
As these thoughts were spiraling through the two men's drunken minds. They laughed uneasily, thinking it was a delusion that was the result of drinking liquor too much. As Sebastian was slowly consumed by the intense desire to kill.
A harsh tug pull on his arm, Sebastian looks down at the person who dared to pull him. Then realization hit him like a rock. It was Atlas who was looking at him with a frown, "Stop. Don't do anything stupid."
Sebastian was able to slowly pull the bloodlust away that was consuming him from the inside out, almost making his vision become red and not seeing anyone else, despite being in public.
Then Atlas looks toward them with a harsh glare, "Fuck off!"
The two drunk men who were unaware of that they escaped a gruesome death, thanks to Atlas. Unfortunately, they were stupid enough not to walk away. Instead, they were outrageously provoked! How dare a kid tell me to fuck off!
Both of them thought at the same time that the man on the right was so wasted that they weren't aware of the dangerous situation they were in.
The man who was gazing at Sebastian in a disgusting way was provoked so much that he clenched his hands and intended to hit the insolent boy.
POW!
As soon as the punch was thrown, Sebastian without thinking caught the fisted hand that was heading toward Atlas. Before Atlas could step back, Sebastian caught the hand with unnatural ease, so much like he caught Cotten ball, not a grown man's hand.
Sebastian tilts his head like a bored cat. "Were you about to hit him? That isn't nice. You should apologize."
The man groans due to the pain that throbs throughout his hand. Did this guy just catch my fist so easily?
He thought dazedly before he felt his knuckles tighten even further, as if his hands were about to crack. Without any pride, he apologizes wimply, "I'm sorry!"
What a spineless coward!
Sebastian sneered at the man, thinking he had no dignity as a human being. Letting go of the man's hand.
He wipes his hand casually against his pants as if he were disgusted by the sweaty, greasy hand.
Sebastian touched Atlas's back as he pushed him past the two people who were in shock. Everything was silent and still, yet no one could say anything.
As they approached the cash register, who smiled at them nervously, "Hi."
Sebastian curled his lips into a gentle smirk that would put her at ease. It was a mask he would use to lower people's guards down, something that he uses to his benefit. "Good morning. I'm here to watch a movie with my little brother."
Which is true, except for the brother part.
The woman was convinced and smiled as she asked, "What movie do you want to see?" Sebastian looks up and sees a comedy movie that looks interesting. He pointed toward the movie that had a red fox with orange ears on its head. It's eyes were like shining like brilliant stars.
As the woman gave him the tickets, he thanked her with a smile and strode away with his arms wrapped around his shoulders.
On the side of his face, a burning stare was fixated on him. He turned around and saw a stunning woman with striking, red wavy hair that was giving him a suggestive glance. She was drop-dead gorgeous for a human standard, she was wearing a black tight ripped jeans that show her curves. A black t-shirt that stopped below her pale stomach, where there were silver piercings on her belly buttons. It was strange. She looks completely ordinary, yet something about her rubs him off in the wrong way.
Before he had a chance to ponder more, she walked away as her wavy hair swayed from side to side.
Shaking his head, he walked into the movie theater. The whole room was dark and dim, except for the candles that were flickering in the dark. It was like shiny, little yellow lights.
Sitting down in the chair, where Atlas sits beside him. He looks around at the large screen; his eyes were widening like a newborn looking at something completely unfamiliar. "WOW! It's so huge!"
Sebastian smiles crookedly as he pats Atlas's head across him. He tells him with a smirk, "Wait till you see the movie start playing."
As the large, black screen turned on, a woman appeared in it. Atlas screech backwards like an easily startled fawn. Sebastian snorts with a deep rumble, making Atlas blush furiously. He glares at him, "It's not funny! Stop laughing!"
The more he tried to contain his laughter, the more he couldn't hold it in. It's so amusing; it's been a long time to see someone who's easily startled, like a frightened cat. It's so amusing to see someone with childlike expressions around them, easily mistaken for naive and innocent.
A couple of people were carrying popcorn, snacks, soda, and a water bottle. Sebastian closes his leg to let them go past him. One of them, an older man who smiles apologetically toward him, says, "My bad. Excuse me."
As he walks down the aisle, then a woman with blond hair follows the man, who said excuse me as well.
Sebastian was relaxing against the chair before his hair was soaked with hot liquid. It wasn't scalding enough, but it was enough for him to hiss out a curse. "Fuck!"
His whole shirt was damp with something. He could smell it. It was familiar. Coffee. His olive-brown chest could be seen through the shirt.
The entire theater was utter silence, except for the movie playing.
You have got to be kidding me! He thought with a grimace.
