Lord of Dreams – A Multiverse Fanfiction

It was night

The noble silver glow from the pale crescent moon illuminated the earth

The luminous stars gleamed in the dark sky, stretching to infinity

The chilly night breeze blew on the dreamy tree that stood towering in the backyard, causing its crown the sway lightly

Under it, a stunning black-haired girl was sitting with her back against its trunk

And covering her was a semi-transparent golden barrier that seemed fragile at first glance

She was breathing softly, and her eyes were closed apparently a sleep

The atmosphere was very quiet, only the sound of crickets and other small creatures could be heard from time to time

But abruptly something broke this serenity

In front of the tree, a man suddenly emerged out of nowhere

Soon after, the girl who was asleep also woke up, and as she did, the barrier around her made by Lorien faded

She then stood up slowly and walked towards Lorien

Standing next to each other, both of them looked around feeling that everything became a bit alien

Meanwhile, just as they were trying to shake the weird feelings away

A Demon appeared outside of the estate

It observed the place from afar, trying its best not to get too close to it

And this is exactly what saved its life

Currently, Lorien has nearly forgotten about the existence of this demon

After all, even though only a moment passed in reality, it's been half a year in that dream

Moreover, this demon wasnt something on Lorien's 'priority list'

But even then, if this demon got any closer and actually entered Lorien's perception range

The latter would then feel his presence and give him a 'visit'

Of course, this is something the demon didn't know

But thanks to its cowardly nature, its life was saved

This demon then continued observing the place

Its eyes shone with red light, apparently using some sort of blood demon art that allows it to watch things from a distance

This continued for a couple more moments before it suddenly fled in a hurry

'The human who killed upper rank 3 is back here, I have to report it...'

Such a scene wasnt unique only to Lorien, as similar occurrences happened all around Japan

It seems that Muzan's revenge plan is approaching its debut

And as one might expect, Lorien didn't know about this as he was currently still standing in the backyard with Saigai

But suddenly, his eyes sharpened as he then snapped his head to the right

A big frown appeared on his face

The direction Lorien was looking at was exactly where the demon was

'Why did I feel like someone was peeking at me??'

Thinking of this he pushed his perception to the limit trying to find the culprit

But even after doing so he still didn't find anything

"Did something happen?"

Hearing this sound, Lorien looked at the confused Saigai then shook his head slightly

"No... maybe am just hallucinating"

After saying this, Lorien continued talking, as he changed the topic

"Take this, fill it with as much of your power as possible"

As he spoke he handed her a semi-transparent, palm-sized, black bead

Seeing this she accepted it and started doing as asked without asking about the reason

And as she used her ability, the bead in her hand started changing color from its original back color to the now eery scarlet color

This continued for a while before she abruptly stopped as a wave of dizziness hit her

This was caused by nearly exhausting all the energy inside her body

Seeing her stumbling and nearly falling, Lorien quickly caught her and then used his power to help her recover

With her energy recovering the dizziness was instantly swept away

"Is this enough?"

Hearing this Lorien turned his attention to the blood-colored bead giving off a scarlet hue

This orb was specially made by Lorien to store Saigai's 'Doom' power, which will be of use later on

So after observing it for a couple of moments, he took it from her hand and nodded

"Yes, it's sufficient"

Handing it to him she finally couldn't hold her curiosity anymore and asked

"What is it for?"

Hearing the question Lorien just smiled mysteriously and responded

"It's a surprise∼∼"

This caused her to roll her eyes at him while replying

"Hope it's good"

"Hahhaha"

Meanwhile just as they were talking a sound abruptly appeared

"Ummm"

Turning their heads towards the origin they found Nezuko who had just come out of the house looking at them shyly

Seeing this Saigai who was still being held by Lorien was startled and jumped back a blush appearing on her face momentarily before quickly disappearing, her cold look was quickly restored

Holding back a laugh Lorien just shook his head and then looked at Nezuko with a smile

"How are you feeling? Do you like the place?"

Hearing the question, Nezuko who was looking back and forth between Lorien and Saigai was startled, but she quickly nodded in response, a happy smile on her face

"Yes! Thank you, I really like it"

"Good! By the way, do you want to begin 'healing' now?"

Hearing this Nezuko quickly nodded in agreement

She really wanted to be able to walk under the sun like before

Even though it wasnt a long time since she restored her sanity, this period felt torturous

It felt like she was being imprisoned, this feeling of restriction was really bad

"Great! let's start then!"
