Chapter 39 is the clichéd Butterfly Effect

Although Chapter 39 is the clichéd Butterfly Effect, it is indeed the most appropriate title as
some unexpected things have happened.

Kenichi Amemiya had heard of the butterfly effect, but he never imagined that one day he would become the butterfly that flapped its wings and caused such a huge change.

"The Fourth Hokage is dead. From this point of view, he was indeed a qualified Hokage." Orochimaru looked at the sad villagers of Konoha and Minato Namikaze lying in the coffin, and couldn't help but sigh.

He had never thought that Minato Namikaze was a qualified Hokage. His strength was just so-so, and his achievements were not as outstanding as his own. But last night, Minato Namikaze, the fourth generation, sacrificed his life.

For Konoha, Minato Namikaze, who had just taken office as Hokage, gave everything he had, including his own life and the life of his wife.

Konoha fell into intense grief. The ninjas and villagers who died or were injured on the night of the Nine-Tails turned into a list. The thin paper carried the weight of life.

However, problems also arose with Konoha's high-level combat power.

"Teacher, why is the Sandaime-sama missing an arm?" Kenichi Amemiya felt that the word "my pupils trembling" was no longer enough to describe his feelings at the moment.

The grief-stricken Sandaime Sarutobi Hiruzen was mourning for his wife Sarutobi Biwako, but this was not the point. The point was that the Sandaime was missing a hand.

Missing a left hand.

This is not right.

Kenichi Amemiya remembered that although the Sandaime's wife had died, he himself was fine. He had all his limbs intact and was able to take on the position of Hokage again, starting a new life as a Hokage.

But at this moment, the Sandaime lost his left hand.

"Last night, the Fourth Hokage was injured in the battle with a mysterious man, and then..." Orochimaru told him what happened yesterday. Amemiya Kenichi was not strong enough, so naturally he didn't know.

When he learned that the Nine-Tails released its second Tailed Beast Ball because the Fourth Hokage was injured, the Third Hokage rushed forward to stop the Nine-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball from rushing towards the center of Konoha.

But a mysterious man suddenly appeared and cut off the left hand of the Sandaime, and then disappeared under the combined attack of the Sandaime and the Fourth Hokage.

However, he also successfully resolved the threat of the Tailed Beast Ball.

The rest of the story is similar to what Kenichi Amemiya knew. The fourth generation still sacrificed himself and successfully solved the Nine-Tails.

"So teacher, what about the position of Hokage next?" Amemiya Kenichi blinked. He always felt that the whole world seemed to be against him. Sarutobi Hiruzen was missing a hand, so could he still become Hokage again?

"I don't know." Orochimaru narrowed his eyes, not knowing what he was thinking.

Amamiya Kenichi looked at his teacher strangely. Could it be that his teacher wanted to become a Hokage? That was impossible, right?
However, looking at Sarutobi Hiruzen who had lost one hand, Amamiya Kenichi became less confident.

After all, in the current Konoha Village, there seems to be no one else except Orochimaru who is most suitable to become the Fifth Hokage.

Although the Sandaime's reputation has increased a lot, making up for the impact of the previous three wars, it is also a fact that he lost a hand, which definitely has an impact on his combat power.

Jiraiya happened to be away from the village, which made Kenichi Amemiya a little confused. After all, it was really strange that Jiraiya was not there at such an important time when his disciple's wife was giving birth.

However, Kenichi Amemiya remembered that various bugs were found in the important plot point of the Night of the Nine-Tailed Fox in the previous life, so it seemed that it did make sense.

"Teacher, where is Lord Jiraiya?" Kenichi Amemiya couldn't help but ask.

"He happens not to be in the village." Orochimaru said with a hint of sarcasm. If Jiraiya was in Konoha, perhaps Minato Namikaze would not have died?

The corner of Amemiya Kenichi's mouth twitched. This is really the end of the world line, right? Anyway, Minato Namikaze had to die on the night of the Nine-Tails, and Jiraiya was not there, so it didn't seem strange.

"Lord Orochimaru." Kakashi walked over, and Kenichi Amamiya looked a little unnatural.

Kakashi was still alive and didn't seem to notice that his eyes had been replaced, but Kenichi Amemiya still felt a little unnatural when facing Kakashi.

He was always worried whether Kakashi would notice something was wrong.

"What's wrong?" Orochimaru glanced at his disciple out of the corner of his eye. He noticed a flash of nervousness in his disciple's eyes.

Could it be related to Kakashi?
Orochimaru thought.

"Sandaime-sama asked me to notify you to come over." Kakashi was still very respectful in front of Orochimaru, but his red eyes proved that he was not calm.

Kakashi is such an unlucky guy. First he lost his best friend, then he had to let his teammates die at his hands. Now, his teacher and his wife are also dead.

If Kakashi was a pure Uchiha, he would probably have opened the Mangekyō.

"Okay." Orochimaru smiled and left without any intention of calling Kenichi Amemiya.

Kenichi Amemiya took a deep breath, then looked at Kakashi who was standing beside him in silence, and for a moment he didn't know what to say.

"Kakashi, my condolences." Kenichi Amemiya knew that this was the time to test his acting skills.

Amemiya Kenichi confirmed that Kakashi didn't know about what happened yesterday. To be more precise, he didn't know the real situation. After all, Amemiya Kenichi knocked Kakashi down before Kakashi turned around.

"Kenichi, were you okay yesterday? I seemed to have been knocked unconscious." Kakashi looked at Kenichi Amemiya with red eyes, and what he said also made Kenichi Amemiya feel relieved.

"I'm sorry. I only saw a black shadow flash by yesterday, and then I fainted. Luckily the teacher came to save me." Amemiya Kenichi said apologetically.

His strength was not as good as Kakashi's, and Kakashi didn't even see clearly, so it was reasonable for him to faint like a weak chicken, right?
"I'm glad you're okay." Kakashi tried to open his eyes wide, then turned around and left.

Kenichi Amemiya saw that Kakashi seemed to have summoned chakra, and it seemed that it was directed to his face.

Are you wiping away tears?

Kenichi Amemiya didn't know.

Looking at the villagers and ninjas around him who were crying because of the loss of their loved ones, Kenichi Amamiya took a deep breath and silently followed the patriarch of the Akimichi clan in front of him.

As a disciple of Orochimaru, one of the three ninjas, Kenichi Amamiya stood just behind the Konoha family, so he could go in advance to observe a moment of silence for the Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze.

It was also the last time to pay homage to the fourth generation's remains.

Kenichi Amemiya stroked the edge of the coffin, then glanced around and silently held a strand of yellow hair in his palm.
