The beginning of the End~5!
The sun was already drowned beyond the horizon, but the sky was strangely not dark enough to block an ordinary perception.
Dusty wind flew furiously, blanketing the atmosphere and giving an ominous vibe just by witnessing such an unnatural sight.
On a bloody battleground which was not so far from Eden's Academy stood quite an amount of figures currently in an attentive state.
The battalion of humanity that has been given the responsibility to guard the Northern front of the School has been staring at a scene with their eyes shrank in fret and hearts trembling passing each second.
Among these crowds, there were some people too who had their resolve still strong enough that they had their weapons pointed toward the threat in case the first line of defense falls out.
The front line of defense basically consisted of a single human who had the guts to face four Terror Rank demons without showing any kind of particular reaction at all.
His eyes, devoid of any emotion, stared at the identical inhumans as he patiently waited for them to take the initiative, like he was judging their worth.
The demons, despite being creatures who only pursued chaos and massacre, still develop some kind of reasoning after reaching a certain level.
And the demons in front had been on the threshold of the third stage of Terror Rank for an unknown amount of time.
But despite having the ability to reason things and evaluate their opponent, Austin's attitude toward them, made the chaos seekers furious beyond tolerance.
They were here to hunt humans. The beings which the intelligence-carrying demon, considers nothing but a source of raw mana and object to trample upon.
And one of those humans was mocking them like they were some lowly presence?!
Unacceptable.
Communicating among themselves using telepathy, one of the demons, which was on the right most of the group, started marching forward, much to the human group's dread.
Vanessa's grip on the composite sword tightened as she resolved to jump into battle; if things go west. Not only her, but Rachael and even Lilia had a determined look that expressed their willingness to help Austin if the need arose.
However, no one expected what would happen a minute from now...
The demon, which had raven flames adorned as a crown on its head, just like his brothers, walked with hefty steps toward Austin without any care about those in the background.
(A/N:- Remember. Demon= It)
Its heavy steps made the ground tremble as it approached the blonde youth with a wide grin plastered on its horrifying face.
**THUD**THUD**
Upon reaching approximately, 5ft apart from Austin, the demon finally halted its feet.
Austin's eyes were still fixated on his front like he was seeing through the demon, or to say Austin didn't actually pay any heed to the nearby existence, since his target was someone else.
Not being able to draw any reaction from the human, even if it was bringing out its miasma to the maximum, the demon roared in agitation.
"GRRRRRRRRRROORRRR"
Along with the mighty roar, which made various people from the human side cover their ears in pain, the demon lifted its left arm higher than its height and, with lightning swiftness, pulled it down toward Austin's skull.
**DHAK**
Those who saw the hand of the demon falling over Austin, closed their eyes in fear of seeing something gory but little did they expect that Austin would counter the attack so casually.
"GRR?!"
The demon felt its arm being clutched in an unbreakable grip before it could have landed on its destination.
Perplexion spread across its face, as the demon tried to snatch its arm from the human's grip but failed to do so.
Landing its feet on the ground heavily, the demon applied all its strength on the arm to pull it away from the unnatural hold but to no avail. And more to it, from Austin's expression, it seemed he wasn't even putting his strength at all.
"ERRGGGGG!!!"
Using its other arm, the demon applied the very last ounce of his strength; as it let out a struggling voice while pulling itself from Austin like it was stuck in an ice pillar of thousand ages.
Craters started forming around its feet, with the raven flames dancing wildly on the demon's crown. The struggle made the other three demons, and the human side flabbergasted upon witnessing the overwhelming might of the frail human.
Austin wasn't able to tolerate the whining of the demon anymore, as he directed his gaze upon the demon just before he muttered under his breath.
"Annoying."
Lifting his left leg at a frightening speed, Austin kicked the abdomen of the demon without letting the other party counter the incoming blow at all!
**BOOOM**
The blow was heavy enough to throw the demon meters away, but that wasn't the focus of the audience at all.
"Th-That..."
"Buoog!!"
"He tore it...Just like that...?"
Blood spurted out of the arm of the demon, which Austin tore away with his blow.
The demon with wide eyes felt the numbing sensation spreading from its left side as it saw the human holding the arm that some seconds ago was attached to its body.
**SWOOOSH**
Without letting the demon even growl properly, Austin burnt away the arm using the strange infernos, much to the Terror Demon's agony.
"UOOOOHHH!!"
The demon roared in pain as it felt the burning sensation from its detached arm, but unfortunately, Austin intended not to let his ears go numb again.
Using gravity manipulation, Austin launched in an arc with the fallen demon as his destination. Clenching his fist tightly, Austin pushed himself mid-air using the skill [Indefinite Leap], and darted toward the demon like a small meteor.
Just when he was about to get in contact with the gigantic body of the inhumane, Austin pulled back his punch and using half of his strength, landed his fist right at the center of the still dazed demon.
**BOOOOM**
Purple thick fluid along with flesh and brain matter of the receiver of such a deadly frightening blow, scattered around the lifeless demon as it got eradicated with the heavy impact.
Some people from the human side felt the urge to vomit right there and then as they saw the brutality of Austin, which was far worse than anything they had witnessed until now.
Even Rachael, who was the most experienced warrior on the battlefield, cringed at such a sight where a teenage human was able to punch the life away of such a terrifying demon without hesitation at all.
Austin, who was unbothered by the gore or the blood he was painted in, rose on his feet before directing his gaze toward the three remaining demons.
"Make me wait, and I will make your deaths more miserable than this one."
His voice, despite not being spoken aloud, reverberated on the battlefield clearly, which naturally landed on the demon's senses too.
Without taking the risk of assuming their enemy was weak, the three demons launched from different directions, with Austin as their target.
Surrounding him within a couple of seconds, the three demons conjured flames from their crowns before parting their mouths at the same time.
The raven flames filled their mouths wide agape before the three identical demons launched their attack simultaneously.
Austin had plenty of time to activate his spell and avoid the attack, and so he did. Naturally, he wasn't an idiot to take an attack head-on. Levitating in the air he saw the spot burning where he was standing a moment ago.
[XXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXX]
Using his spirit tongue, Austin gathered Water spirits around him, before manipulating the elements and creating an icy hue around his levitating figure.
It only took him three seconds to build his magic formation, and before the demons could have redirected their flames on Austin, the latter mentioned rained down his spiritual spell, mercilessly.
"Avalanche."
Suddenly, an icy catastrophe descended on the surface and enveloped the part of the land where the three baffled demons were standing with their mouths agape, not because of their flames but in astonishment.
**SWOON**
With a serene sound, the heavy snow poured down like an endless stream, freezing everything around the diameter of a hundred meters.
The human faction also felt the growing chill from the attack which Austin conjured as they witnessed the sight converting into white paradise in less than twenty seconds.
Austin halted his attack not so long after since he sensed the fading curse energy from the triplets.
Turning his gaze toward the forest, Austin sensed the sign of strange miasma he was feeling some minutes ago disappearing, which brought a frown to his stained face.
But he didn't have the time to ponder since there was a massive army of demons comprising both Terror and Unique Rank approaching the battlefield.
Sighing heavily, Austin gathered mana on either hand, as he landed again in between humanity and inhumanity, as an unbreachable barrier.

At the same time, when another massive battle between a horde of demons and a single human was about to flame, two figures landed at a particular sector inside Eden's Academy.
These two were the same demons who came to scout the battlefield and caused the sudden disappearance of blessings.
"Is she inside of that?"
The female demon asked with a sneer as she stared at the large cage made of stone which had a peculiar globe inside of it.
"Yes, I am certain."
The male demon responded with utmost confidence as he also stared at the scene in front, which would change in just some moments.
Hearing her partner's remark, a wild grin spread across the female demon's face, revealing her sharp teeth as she muttered under her breath.
"Then let's get the reward we came here for~."
