No professor Austin?!
Inside a classroom sat numerous adults, along with a pretty princess currently adorning with a beautiful smile across her face.
This class was under the supervision of none other than the infamous noble Austin, who had been teaching the teachers about Conjuring for the past ten days or so.
Various professors, along with the brilliant mage, Tiara, had gotten a hold of the passage of chanting a spell in a much lesser time, as for what Austin explained.
It was a slow start since the theory was entirely foreign to the old-timers, but it was their experience that helped the professors to learn the absurd way of casting a spell.
The class of Conjurors went in a three-cycle period. First was the explanation. Austin clarified the theory of how to erase the third circle of different kinds of spells. Not everyone uses the same element, so the idea needs to be altered. Therefore this stage contains the most significance.
The second step was to practice what they had been taught. One could only become a bookworm if the theoretical knowledge isn't implicated in real life. Mana manipulation, along with mind training through meditation and whatnot, is processed in the second stage.
The third stage was to show the results that Austin asks for in the next class. Everyone was tasked to at least master one spell in two days. Once a person gets a hold of how to erase a circle yet accomplish the spell, it becomes a lot easier to do it repeatedly.
Things were going smoothly from the other two sides, too.
Luna was teaching the lot in her own way, which was bringing out results, albeit a little slower than Conjurors. Well, it was understandable since Luna was teaching amateur teenagers.
Her patience in coping with such worthless students was also a miracle in itself. If not for Austin's coaxing and fawning all night, she might have left the job on the second day.
The last class of physical training was under the control of Saya. She was doing a remarkable job tutoring the maggots on how they should be wielding steel.
At the start, she was pretty harsh, to the point even Kyouki was sent to the infirmary in one of those trials. But with time, as Austin persuaded her, Saya began to understand how she should be teaching.
Now back to the present...
Under the curious gaze of the students who entered inside the classroom was the headmaster Merlin?
A wave of shock flew throughout the room as they were expecting someone younger than the Principal.
Tiara anxiously stood up before asking what others were thinking too.
"Merlin-sama...is Sir Austin not going to provide his lecture today?"
Merlin sighed as he saw the impatience from the girl and almost everyone in the room, signifying how unwelcomed the Grandmaster was.
In so less time, many of the students and professors have become a fan of Austin's way of teaching. This reaction was the reason for such favorability.
Positioning in the center of the aisle, the bearded wizard stomped his staff to gather the attention and halt the chattering, as he spoke in a neutral tone.
"Austin wouldn't be available for a few days due to his personal issues, so until then, I will be teaching you all."
The class became a little noisier as some of them even sighed in shame or 'Tch*ed', bringing a thick bulge on the headmaster's forehead.
With a twitching smile, an ominous idea emerged in his mind in regard to today's class.
'It seems I have to show them, why I still hold the title of Grandmaster... '

In a faraway land, almost a thousand miles away from the Eden Academy, could be seen a luxurious carriage currently steadily trodding through the bustly market.
The way people were giving space for the carriage made it clear what social status the people inside carried.
This market, this town, and various places are somewhat engraved in Austin's memory since he has wandered these streets all his childhood.
Yes, this was the piece of land under the administration of Count Vincent Wright, Heideith.
Currently, inside the carriage, the highest nobility of the town, Countess Sophia, along with her daughter Eleanor, were going to shop in the local complex.
It wasn't a rare occasion for the duo to go out shopping, but the crowd still treated the carriage like the Emperor of Gram himself had arrived.
Unlike in the past, there wasn't any security carriage following the Royal transport since it seemed the guards got muddled in the crowd.
"Your father would get angry if he heard about this, Eli."
Sophia scolded her daughter lightly as it was Eleanor who pleaded to leave the guard carriage behind so they could rush toward Eleanor's favorite tea shop.
"Mou~ How can I help mother? That aromatic tea arrives once a month, and the tea owner also doesn't give patronage to nobles. Rushing is the only option left."
Sophia sighed with a smile as this side of her daughter seemed incredibly adorable, unlike most of the time when Eleanor, stays severe and determined for her future.
With her eyes focused on the outside, Eleanor enjoyed the scene as her platinum blond hair which had a radiance just like her mother, swayed freely in the air.
Amidst her enjoyment, a strange feeling emerged inside her, as her brows grew narrower.
"Hey mom....isn't the market growing a lot crowdy, yet we aren't halting at all?"
Sophia, who was reading one of her books, suddenly heard her daughter's voice before she looked outside.
A severe frown also clouded her charming face as, indeed, the market was getting populated like there was some kind of festival celebration, yet the wheels were rolling like it was passing through them.
'Something is fishy... '
"Dolton, stop the carriage."
Calling out the coachman, Sophia seemed to be a little hurried as her heart grew suspicious severly.
But against her command, the carriage kept moving as it had been under a spell.
Spell...?
Sophia's eyes went wide as she moved to the little window at the front of the cabin before sliding it apart.
Twirling her finger, a small water orb formed on top of her index before she launched at the man she had called Dolton earlier.
Much to her horror, the water sphere passed through the man before a cloud of smoke emerged out of nowhere and engulfed the whole cabin.
"Mom!"

Ah, yes. I am going to start an alternative to the story on Patreon. Well, I have thought to.
So if you want to ride a different kind of coaster with the same characters and Austin having a harem(evil laugh), do check my Patreon.

I am writing Austin as harem protag in patron Alternative Side Stories, that doesn't mean the main canon couldn't go harem. As I said I am uncertain where this will go so don't worry harem lovers. ;)
