Is Luna human?
"The weather is so lovely~ Even the Sky God is supporting our date, Onii-sama!"
As Saya chimed while holding Austin's arm, the people in the surroundings glanced at the duo with confusion clouding their minds.
Saya was undoubtedly a mature beauty with a great figure equally proportionate, but when walking with the blond youth, she gave an impression of an older sister.
However, her spoilt behavior, along with the way she called Austin, made various wonder whether this couple was into some perverted play?
"Well, I am happy that you are enjoying it."
Austin wasn't bothered at all by what the others were thinking or the looks they received. Seeing his sister smile was the most he could keep his attention upon.
The market they came to today was in one of the Gram's cities, Seneur, under the province of Duke Snyset. This place was near the main capital and Eden's Academy, too, just like a junction. So Austin chose the place where he could reach using levitation in minimal time.
The marketplace of Seneur was famous for textiles and the delicacies it serves. And since this duo was interested in both specialties, this place worked as a golden coincidence.
The shopping district was in hustle even though it was only 10 in the morning. It felt like not only Austin got the idea to shop today, but various others were also preparing for something.
Most of the public came here in their carriage or royal transportation, signifying the grandeur of the shopping hub.
"Should we take a tour before moving to the clothes department?"
Austin proposed the idea, which Saya wholeheartedly accepted while nodding her head in a strong momentum.
With his forearm still being held dearly by his sister, just like she did in the past life, they both started walking deeper into the market.
Even though her appearance was different and also the aura she possesses now, these small gestures made Austin elated that even though so many things happened, Saya hadn't changed in person.
"What happened, Onii-sama?"
Finding her brother's eyes on her, Saya blushed slightly as she asked in fear that her makeup might have been unsightly.
"Nothing. I just realized that you still are my little Saya."
Upon hearing her brother's not-so-pleasant remark, a slight bulge appeared on Saya's left cheek as she subconsciously pressed her bountiful bosom on Austin's arm.
"Mou~ Calling Saya kid is no fair, Onii-sama. I am angry here, you know!"
The pout changed into the complaint as she now voluntarily tried to make Austin embarrass by pressing her breast until his arm wasn't engulfed in between them.
Austin was laughing at the sight as he genuinely didn't pay single attention to the warmth spreading on his arm; rather his whole attention was fixated on his sister's cute protest.
"Okay, Saya isn't little anymore. Come on; I think you will like it."
Saya, still being a little grumpy, followed her brother's lead before a paradise greeted her.
"Waaaaaaahhh!"
Austin bought something from the shop, which had a front counter.
From outer covering and texture, it looked like crèpe, which got better of Saya'a patience as she took the first bite.
"Mmmmm~Yummm~."
She was extremely thrilled with the soft cream filling along with the sweetness of fruit jellies and also the crunchy outer wrapper. It was just too good to exist.
Little did she notice the reaction of the people around, who got so mesmerized by the sight of a beautiful and charming woman enjoying the confection.
Slowly, the amount of customers started increasing as in to experience what threw the raven-haired into such an ecstatic state.
Fortunately, Austin was already done paying as he also bought one for himself, which had the fragrance of bitterness of coffee blended with the essence of vanilla.
'I can't tell what actually is it... '
Austin was about to taste it when he saw the current expression on Saya, which completely betrayed the face she had some moments ago.
"Do all girls like sweet things, or you and Luna are just the special case? Confection really does put you both in a good mood."
Saya blushed heavily upon showing such a childish side even when she protested against it some minutes ago. But she couldn't deny her love for sweet things; that was why she loved her Onii-sama too. He's the sweetest, after all.
"Don't put me in the same category as that woman, Onii-sama. Ah, by the way, where is she?"
Saya was happy that Luna didn't interrupt their date and stayed away for the time being, but knowing how crazy Luna is for Austin, Saya found it a sign of some hazard incoming.
"She...she has gone somewhere for some days."
There was apparent grief in Austin's voice which Saya also noticed, but she wasn't a naive girl to declare herself as a substitute for Luna. Austin would hate her if she said something like that.
So, Saya chose to ask something which she had been contemplating about since the day she reunited with her brother, in order to change the flow of conversation.
"Onii-sama...please don't mind if you don't want to answer, but can I ask what Luna-san's origin is. Like I am confident in my strength and especially when it comes to combat, but that day..."
Since Austin had his arm intervene with Saya, he could feel the shiver running down her body as she continued after a slight pause.
"She practically was toying with me. For the first time, I had to doubt whether I was living in the same world as this entity in front. I felt utterly hopeless, Onii-sama. Luna-san isn't just any mage, that's for sure, but I doubt how a single human can even hold that much strength altogether?"
"So you are suggesting that Luna isn't human?"
Saya's eyes went wide as it seemed her curiosity made her words utterly rude which led Austin to draw such a conclusion.
"I am extremely sorry, Onii-sama. I didn't want to say such a thing about her."
Austin wasn't upset in the first place, and truth be told, he also have thought something similar to what Saya just suggested.
But...
"Well, even if she is a human or not, I love her regardless. Luna is an existence who cannot leave my heart even if I have to face the whole world to stay by her side."
The shine in his eyes, the honesty of his words, and the determination in his voice made Saya a little sad since it wasn't directed at her, but she was proud of her brother nonetheless.
Saya does respect Luna since she carries the strength worthy of being the strongest and the love she holds for her brother. That was why Saya even accepted to back off after a year since she knew that if not for her, Luna was the only one who could make her Onii-sama happy.
"Y-You stop right there, big-booby demon!!"
A feminine yet enraged voice came from the duo's back which naturally gathered the attention of the others too.
Turning toward the source of voice after glancing at each other in perplexion, they saw two women standing there.
Austin knew one of them, as he muttered under his breath.
"Vanessa?"
