Her Confession!
In a bright natural lighted hall of more than 200 meters in length, there could be seen several figures with quite a profound expression adorning their faces.
The courtroom, just like the outside world, was low on degrees as the man sitting on the throne let out a dangerous aura that was enough to make people shiver in fear.
The reason for the Northern Emperor's current mood was undoubtedly the letter that arrived some hours ago from the nation of Gram.
The mana mail had an official stamp and signature of the Highest Entity of Gram, Emperor Williams, which made the matter entirely the most important thing to pay attention first.
The content of the sudden mana mail wasn't something Norsvolk was able to believe; even the spokesperson of the courtroom read it three times loud and clear.
In the end, Norsvolk himself read the letter and found that, indeed, what the spokesperson announced was all true, but that didn't help to calm his anxiety at all.
The letter which arrived was far from formal greetings or an invitation to any ceremony; it was a plain and straight warning about something which Norsvolk had zero ideas about.
Naturally, the first thing he did was to order a thorough investigation of his palace as well the places around the empire to see whether the Hero had been hiding here.
But despite that, he found nothing related to Hero nor received any teleportation record of anyone from Gram.
It took him half a day to inspect the vicinity and do his all to find even a clue about the hero, but nothing came to light, leaving Norsvolk to rely on the last resort.
"Where is Hero-sama? I don't want to hear that you are unaware of his arrival."
Growling dangerously under his breath was the charismatic Emperor of Aurora, who currently looked like an annoyed beast who might engulf anyone if he didn't get his desired answer.
The person on whom he nearly shouted on the one in front of the whole court was his own blood-related daughter, Luna.
There was only one thing that could bring Hero Kyouki to Northern land if he had indeed come as the Gram was claiming, and that was his relationship with Luna.
Luna was the last hope of the Northern Supreme and those who were sitting with grim expressions on their face inside the courtroom.
If the hero really were in here, then the Aurorean government would, without hesitation, hand him over to Gram despite knowing that after this, the relationship between the two nations would be bittered entirely. But still, it would be better than the possible bloody bath on the battleground.
But things seldom go how one expects them to be...
"Hero Kyouki-kun? I haven't seen him in a while. Why are you asking about him all of a sudden, father~."
Stated without a care in the world, even though she was receiving the coldest glare of the century right at the moment, was the amused Princess who was enjoying her father's expression to her heart's content.
"You! Don't dare to play with me! The lives of countless are on line, and you are daring to say such a lie! Have some shame, Luna, and save your mother some face before nothing could be left to save."
**SWISSH**
"Khwak!!"
Suddenly after shouting his authoritative plea, Norsvolk felt a heavy amount of mana choking on his life as he saw the person he just yelled upon, in her most dangerous intent, glaring at him.
"Princess! Retract your attack, or I won't hesitate to suppress you!"
The one who came forward was a royal guard who was responsible for the Emperor's safety. Upon seeing Norsvolk struggling to breathe, the stress in the courtroom increased to another level as the Knight pointed his weapon at Luna.
Despite being at the tip of a Unique Grade weapon that was being held by a Veteran of the battleground, Luna's eyes were still fixed upon the man whose face was turning blue and red now.
The royal knight only waited for two seconds before he used his wooden staff to launch an attack on Luna, only to regret it in the end.
Luna, without turning her gaze away, just lifted her index finger right at the point where the butt of the staff was about to touch her before the staff, along with the knight, froze in an instant.
**CREAAAK**
The whole room gasped in horror as they witnessed the clear display of a chantless spell cast that took less than a wink to turn an alive and healthy man into a frozen statue.
It was a sight, terrifying beyond belief!
"Listen to me, Emperor Norsvolk! If you ever dare to put my mother's name to corner me, then I will eradicate every single thing which you consider precious right in front of your eyes before I slowly end your life! So beware of what you say."
Saying so, she released her pressure which slowly had crept upon the whole hall, as Norsvolk finally regained his breathing as he panted like a dog while crouching on the floor.
Luna, on the other side, was far from bothered about him or anyone inside the courtroom as she made her way toward the place where her most significant interest awaited her.

"Hmm? You are earl-wait, what happened, Luna?"
Austin, who was about to turn around to greet Luna, who went to hear the inquiry about Kyouki, was suddenly hugged from behind.
It didn't take long for Austin to realize that something had happened in the courtroom, which covered Luna with such dark clouds. Since Luna wanted to face her father without Austin's help, he didn't go with her using the cloak and instead stayed in her room.
But looking at her now, he thought it would have been better if he had stayed by her side.
"Did they say something which made you sad?"
Sensing her head going up and down on his back Austin concluded that he hit the mark as he held her hand which was around his torso before he continued.
"Are you hurt?"
This time Luna hesitated for a bit but, in the end, nodded slowly.
With his hand going a little stiff on his hold, Austin's voice took a heavier turn as he asked in a deep tone.
"Should I destroy this emperor and acquire this nation by force rather than politics?"
Since Luna's height was about three inches shorter than Austin's, she was able to see his expression over his shoulder, and when she did, she became dead frozen in fret for a second.
"Austin..."
Luna gently whispered in his ear to bring Austin out of his dangerous stupor, which made Luna immensely worried as well as delighted to know that her love had become angry in her stead.
"I am okay and don't say such a thing. Remember, our primary goal is to help you score Villain's point, which might not result in the same if we were to use a forceful method to reach our goal. I am happy that you got mad for me, but we have to act calmly."
Austin felt slightly embarrassed that when he should have been consoling Luna, he was getting pampered instead.
He turned around and slowly held his favorite person fondly in his embrace.
"I know, Luna. But after I have fallen for you, everything involving you influences me too. I don't remember when I became so weak in controlling my emotions, but after meeting you, I have changed."
Luna, with her eyes closed, while feeling her favorite warmth, heard his gentle whisper before she also replied in the same pitch as she clutched the hem of his shirt in anticipation.
"Is that a bad thing?"
"No, of course not. I indeed am changing, but it's for a good cause. If before meeting you, I was a broken mess, then after meeting you, I feel like a complete man. If before meeting you, I was like useless trash, who could have tolerated the beating of any second person, then now I won't take crap from anyone, in order to look good in the eyes of the girl I love."
Halting for a moment, he separated himself from Luna as he held her chin with his finger and made her hazy eyes land on his, as he concluded.
"You are my pride, Luna. My arrogance. The cause of my grief and the reason for my happiness. If someone bad mouths you, I feel agitated, and if someone praises you, I also feel elated. These are my honest thoughts about you, Luna, and I am happy to have such a way of thinking, as apart from you, I don't have anyone I can or want to have such feelings for. So let me embrace these feelings and cling onto this new reality of mine."
Luna, who heard every word with a dazed expression, felt her heart tingling with a warm sensation as she felt how much his words had a dangerous effect on her.
Staring at his jade green eyes and feeling his slight warm breath reaching her face, Luna seemed to become more and more captivated by this unfairly perfect man.
"Austin."
Being called with such a small soft whisper, Austin raised his brows as he hummed in question before he was caught in complete off-guard.
"I love you."
Tiptoeing quickly after confessing her love for the first time, Luna planted her warm and soft lips on Austin's just for a blink before she got out of his embrace and went away in a fluster.
On the other side, the receiver of such an unexpected powerful blow was currently standing with his hand still raised in a way he was hugging someone, as with his big eyes he blinked quite some time while trying to understand what just happened some seconds ago.
Raising his hand slowly up to his lips, where lingered the sensation of what happened only for a blink, Austin concluded that it wasn't his hallucination at all, which also helped him to finally get out of his stupor as he muttered under his breath...
'Did...she ...just...accepted my confession...?'
