Wang Ke felt confident that the Snake King wouldn’t pursue them, but he was still careful; he carried Long Yu and ran until they were a long distance away.

"Don't worry, this is Divine Dragon Island. It's my turf! You will be very safe here!" Wang Ke explained with a smile.

"You can put me down if it's safe. Why are you still carrying me?" Long Yu said with a frown.

"Uhh, I thought you liked it this way! My apologies!" Wang Ke immediately put her down, feeling a bit awkward. Long Yu rolled her eyes at him, which left the usually bantering fellow in a daze.

"Don't try to flirt with me, I already have a girlfriend!" said Wang Ke while rubbing an itch on his nose.

Long Yu: "............!"

After a moment of silence, Long Yu burst out a giggle.

"What are you laughing at? I'm serious!" Wang Ke said.

Long Yu shook her head and said, "It's nothing. It's just that you reminded me of a saying I heard before: 'Any man with lips is a lying jerk!'"

"Who did you hear that from? Such unreliable utterance, and you believe it?" Wang Ke tried to bypass the moment of awkwardness.

Just as the two of them were walking along a path—they heard an anxious shout coming from a forest nearby, "Don't let him get away!"

"Don't worry. I restricted his throat with a spell; he can't make a sound!"

Wang Ke ignored him and kept dragging Long Yu along, "Long Yu, you saw nothing, you heard nothing. Those people in black… We don't know who they are, right? Everyone goes on their merry way! Isn't it nice when none of us interfere with the other?" He sounded as if he were explaining things to Long Yu, but it was actually for the ears of the five men.

He thought that it would be enough for everyone to go their own separate ways, but the main kidnapper walked toward them, "Wang Ke, hahaha! I searched high and low for you, but I never expected to find you here! Heaven is just!"

The leader's words gave Wang Ke a shock, "Who are you? Do I even know you?” Don't you know that ignorance is bliss? Even if it's fake ignorance? I'm not planning to make any trouble for you, why come troubling me?

"What did you say? Your Divine Dragon Island? Says who? The Demon Sovereign appointed me Divine Dragon Branch Lord personally! The entire island is mine!" Wang Ke said with a frown.
