Chapter 48: Space Laws.
(A/N: after experimenting a bit I think I am more comfortable writing in 3rd person, tell me if you find it odd or weird.)
In the middle of an empty field stood a tall man, whose mere presence was enough to shake the entire area.
Long serene golden hair danced in front of his face, making his already Handsome look even more ethereal.
Tsukimi had his eyes closed as he seemed focused on something, the aura around him started to turn a little unstable.
After a few hours the nature of his aura stayed the same and even turned more erratic.
Space around him started to tremble and cracks started to form that spread in a meter radius around him.
As soon as the cracks appeared they vanished without a trace. Suddenly Tsukimi snapped his eyes open and his aura flared.
He raised his arm and slashed in the empty air, following the traces of his hands a tear opened in front of him.
The inside of the tear had an illusionary empty appearance, the space tear was not an ordinary tear.
Unlike the ones he used to forcefully open using his eyes ability, he was doing it without any support.
This tear was extremely stable. This tear represented the understanding of Tsukimi in Space Laws.
He came in touch with space laws when he was trying to solve the mysteries of his dimension.
Looking at the tear, Tsukimi smiled in satisfaction and waved his hands to close it up.
After familiarizing himself with this technique by using it a few more times Tsukimi opened another tear using his eyes and appeared in a gloomy and dark place.
Everywhere he looked he could see a scene representing a sewer.
Tsukimi floated a few inches from the ground, avoiding touching it. He was inside Uzumaki Mito's mind palace.
The place where Kurama was sealed, seeing the treatment he would have gotten if he had not interfered stirred his chakra.
Clenching his fist, Tsukimi calmed down and looked at the little fox observing him from a distance. Well if you even call that a 100 meters tall fox that.
The fox had a look of happiness hidden behind the indifference and arrogance that covered it. Tsukimi smiled at him and turned back to look at the surroundings.
He floated towards the edge of the space and touched it. He closed his eyes, after a few seconds went by he opened his eyes and sighed.
He wanted to understand what soul was using this place as a training ground but it seemed he needed more practice or he would make the woman brain dead.
She would become a living dead if something happened to her soul.
As if feeling something, Mito appeared in her mind space and looked at the area with confused expression.
Her eyes landed on the chained figure of the fox and they narrowed before returning to normal seeing the hatred and bloodlust in its eyes.
"Behave yourself, you damn fox! No matter what you try, you cannot escape the ultimate seal of the Uzumaki's" She exclaimed before going back.
Hearing her boastful words Tsukimi rolled his eyes, 'What ultimate seal. More like a trash seal.'
He moved towards Kurama and sat on his head.
"Kurama, soon your host will be changing. At max 50 years. From then on you can do whatever you want. You can choose to help your host or seal the powers, making them unable to access."
Kurama got puzzled hearing this and asked. "Why? Don't you want me to help them?"
Tsukimi chuckled and replied. "Never, why would I want you to do charity. I just want you to do whatever your heart desires. You can even dispel the clone for all I care. It's just that there won't be any fun events in recent years."
Tsukimi laid his back on the soft fur, before continuing. "By the time you change your host, a major event will happen. I will be there to watch over but I won't interfere unless it harms my family."
Hearing the solemn tone of his big brother Kurama nodded in seriousness.
"Well then I will take my leave, by the time you will see me again. It would be time for me to choose a suitable host."
Kurame frowned and asked. "Why?"
"Why? What?" Tsukimi asked back, fully aware of what he wanted to ask.
"Why do you have to go to such lengths when you are so strong already? You can stay at home and get stronger. Why go and choose those low level humans to live inside."
Tsukimi hummed in response without answering anything.
He got up from his head and turned to look in his eyes before responding. Kurama anticipated a serious response and waited patiently.
"Just felt like it."
Hearing the response Kurama's face turned comical which in turn caused Tsukimi to laugh.
"I am just teasing you. I want to research the soul and humans are the best way to do that. There is another reason, with what is about to happen, I want to be as close as I can be to it. So that I can stop if anything goes sideways in time." Tsukimi smiled and walked away before his figure disappeared from the area.
Appearing back in the room, Tsukimi looked outside the window while he thought of another reason that he did not tell Kurama.
'How can I let you all be sealed and be free by myself. Even if they are clones and they are not sealed and they can leave anytime…. Just you wait Otsutsuki clan, I will make sure You suffer for the trouble you are giving us.'
The empty look in his eyes was enough to cause a tension to suspend in the room.
Returning back to normal, Tsukimi walked out of the room.
