As the guild staff counted the Magic Stones, his face turned from curiosity to surprise. Surprise quickly turned to astonishment when he saw the mini-boss' Magic Stone.

I pulled out a cardboard bag full of snacks. It was quite a haul, and I'm not just talking about the magic stones. Hestia's eyes immediately lit up as the aroma of the food reached her.

"What's that?" her blue eyes perked up immediately, and I think I saw a little drool at the corners of her mouth. She shook her head and said, "By the way... did I see that wrong? Ei-kun lost half of his arm...it disappeared and reappeared...and pulled out something... Ah! How did you make it appear out of nowhere?"

"Calm down a bit." I laughed at how cute her surprised face was. Without answering, I took her hand and dragged her inside the church. As we walked, she puffed out her cheeks like a hamster, clearly annoyed at the lack of explanation.

We sat down on the couch and Hestia wasted no time. Before I could say anything, she glared at me as if she were interrogating me for crimes I didn't even know I'd committed.

"What was that, pulling food out of thin air?!"

I thought she was going to ask me for a serious explanation, something like, "Tell me your whole secret!" or "Is it some ability you haven't told me about? In fact, I'm pretty sure that would be the reaction of any other god who'd seen me do something like this.

But she wouldn't be Hestia if she didn't end her sentence with, "Show me how to do it, too!"

There, with a burning look in her eyes, I saw her preparing to pounce on me. Is it just me, or did this situation turn out to be more dangerous than when other gods were interrogating me? I mean, Hestia had that "if you don't give me the recipe, I'll strangle you" expression.

Hestia looked at me, her expression changing from confusion to curiosity when she saw the small bag in my hands.

The water we used in the church was murky and unhealthy, so I thought this would help us be better. It shouldn't be a problem to fill a bathtub for bathing either.

"It's true!" She exclaimed, letting the water run and run endlessly. After a moment, she turned a mischievous smile on me.

I was suspicious of what this little goddess would say next.

"Do you think we could replace water for wine?"

I was speechless. Literally speechless.

"Wine?"

Only after she calmed down did her eyes return to the snack bag in my hand. I placed it in front of her and smiled.

"It's not unlimited, but it should be enough for you."

But just as I was about to grab something, I pushed the bag aside.

"Huh?" Hestia looked at me in confusion, then tried to grab it again.

I moved the bag once more.

"Ei-kun!" Hestia kicked the ground and crossed her arms again. "What's wrong with you, give it to me already!"

I chuckled. It was refreshing to see a bit of her frustration.

"It's just that... I have plans for us to go to a tavern tonight and enjoy some delicious food. Wouldn't it be a shame if your stomach was already full by the time we got there?"

Her eyes lit up. But then she frowned.

"But..." She started to say worriedly as she looked at the place where we lived. "We don't have any money, Ei-kun..."

Hestia was totally flabbergasted. Her eyes went wide and an "O" formed on her lips.

It was so funny to see her react like that. "What I mean is..."

"150,000 Valis?!" her voice howled so loudly that it echoed throughout the room, making my ears hurt.

"150,000 Valis, 150,000!" She shouted again, jumping to my side and grabbing my shoulders. "That's amazing! In-cre-di-ble!"

"Hah~"

"Where, where, where, we have to celebrate! We must eat, drink, dance! Come on, come on!"

I covered my ears as I heard Hestia screaming nonstop. She was jumping and screaming as she dragged me out of the room.

"Mumumu! My Ei-kun is so cool!"

She suddenly stopped and looked down at her clothes, then back up at me. "Wait for me here! I'm going to take a bath and change into better clothes."

"Uh... do you need something special to go to a tavern?"

"Yes!" Then she grabbed my hand and pulled me back into our bedroom. "I'll explain when I'm done! Just wait here!"

Before I could answer, she ran into the bathroom and left me there.

Ah. She took my infinity water bag with her. I guess she liked the idea of using it for bathing.

And with that, the bathroom door closed.

I spent a while standing there, staring at the door. She would be inside for quite a while, and I really had nothing to do in the meantime.
