Prologue
This can’t be happening.
This just isn’t right. No matter how many times I chew on it, it’s clear as day that something’s off.
Daniel Crawford.
Assign the above individual as the responsible professor for the special class at Kia del Academy, and grant the necessary authority.
There were a few minor details afterwards, but my eyes were glued to those two lines.
To achieve my goals, I went through thick and thin, throwing myself into back-breaking work without hesitation.
The agony of having to build everything from scratch, starting with nothing.
The sorrow of being tossed into a world where not a single soul could understand me.
The fate that forced me to endure cruel treatment, mockery, and scornful gazes like a champ.
After swallowing all that and enduring, I finally became the professor I aimed to be.
Yeah, I can live with how tough it was to become a professor.
But how on earth did I end up handling a special class?
You know, the one with all the little troublemakers who are destined to become villains one day.
“Chancellor, excuse me for a moment!”
“Welcome, Professor Daniel.”
I entered the chancellor’s office of Kia del Academy, having followed all the proper procedures.
With an unreadable delegation letter in hand that I just couldn’t accept, I flung the door open.
On the other side, a woman with black hair smiled at me, resting her chin on her palm.
She had a beauty that could leave anyone in a daze, but charms wouldn’t work on me right now.
I was nearly losing my mind trying to figure out how to deal with this situation.
“What can I help you with?”
“I came to ask you something about this class assignment, Chancellor!”
“Yes, go ahead.”
“As you know, this is my first year teaching. But why would you entrust me with such a serious responsibility?”
“After you hear the reason, you’ll surely regret it, but are you sure you want to know?”
The chancellor’s previously cheerful expression suddenly stiffened.
A newfound gravity lingered in her eyes, hinting at a resolve that this was something she couldn’t just blurt out.
Feeling the tension in the air, I gulped nervously and barely managed to reply.
“I’m okay with it! I don’t want to spend my time here clueless about the reason.”
“Since you’re so determined, I’ll tell you. The reason you’ve been assigned to this special class is…”
“The reason…?”
“Unfortunately, you drew the short straw in the lottery!”
Oh great!
