I’M A MIST SHINOBI IN NARUTO

Chapter 8: CHAPTER 8

Yuto's Spiritual World

Yuto stood atop a towering mountain in his spiritual realm, gazing out at the vast, endless sea. The water stretched beyond the horizon, shimmering under the golden rays of the sun. Waves danced on the surface, creating a serene yet powerful scene.

This wasn't just any sea—it was the Pacific Ocean in Yuto's mind.

The total area of this mental ocean spanned over 180 million square kilometers, dwarfing the Ninja World itself, which was merely 150 million square kilometers. Yuto's mental Pacific Ocean was larger, deeper, and more enigmatic than the entire Shinobi continent.

Within this vast expanse lay untapped mysteries. Rich with ancient secrets, resources, and creatures, the Pacific Ocean in Yuto's mind symbolized his untapped potential. Yet, despite years of study and practice, he had only managed to control roughly 15% of this mental sea.

It was an achievement that sounded modest on the surface, but considering that humanity in the real world had explored less than 10% of Earth's oceans, Yuto's mastery was extraordinary.

Staring at the calm, glimmering waters, Yuto muttered to himself, "I wonder how long it'll take to fully control this sea."

He had dreamed of creating the ultimate Water Release technique, one capable of submerging the entire Ninja World. Yet, such mastery required complete control over this boundless ocean. For now, such power remained a distant goal.

The depths of his spiritual sea held creatures straight out of legend—prehistoric beasts, ancient ruins, and bizarre plants that even he couldn't entirely command. On occasion, while practicing his Sea Release techniques, these mysterious entities would emerge, disrupting his control.

"Just imagine…" Yuto smirked. "If I could summon aliens from this ocean to deal with shinobi, that'd be a show worth watching."

As the thought amused him, his connection to the spiritual world abruptly severed.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of furious knocking echoed in his ears, pulling him back to reality.

"Yuto! Open the door!"

Outside, Terumi Mei was practically shouting. "What kind of brother locks his bedroom door? Where's the trust?!"

Yuto sighed and rubbed his temples. "I'm locking it because of you!" he grumbled, stomping toward the door.

Swinging it open, he glared at her. "What now?"

Terumi Mei stood there, holding a massive bundle of clothes and toiletries. "I'm moving in," she announced with a smirk.

Yuto blinked. "What?"

"You heard me." She shoved past him, tossing her belongings onto his bed. "Your house only has one bedroom, and as your sister, it's my duty to ensure your safety. That means sharing a room. Problem?"

"Yes! This is my bedroom!" Yuto protested.

Terumi Mei ignored him, dumping her clothes into his closet without a second thought. Then, as if deliberately teasing him, she pulled out a pink… undergarment.

"Don't peek," she said with mock sternness, glancing at him over her shoulder.

Yuto immediately turned his back. His face was a mix of irritation and confusion. Why did she even bring that out? Is she reminding me not to look—or daring me to?

"Ugh! You're so frustrating!" Terumi Mei stomped her foot in annoyance. "I'm letting you look, but you're too dense to even notice!"

How am I supposed to know it's pink if I'm not looking?! Yuto thought, trying to keep his composure.

After what felt like an eternity, Terumi Mei finally finished unpacking. She flopped down at the table with an exaggerated sigh, her arms stretched out lazily.

"Stupid brother," she whined, "I'm hungry. What's for dinner?"

Yuto smirked and quipped, "Fried air. Just open your mouth and breathe. It's great for the soul!"

"Hmph!" Terumi Mei shot up, hands on her hips. "Is that how you treat your guests? I'm your sister!"

"You're the one who insisted on protecting me," Yuto replied coolly. "Doesn't that mean you should cook for me?"

"Absolutely not!"

"Well then," Yuto said with a shrug, "please enjoy your 'fried air.'"

You stinky bastard!"

Terumi Mei glared at Yuto, her beautiful eyes filled with water mist, and she folded her hands in prayer: "Good brother, sister is hungry, what do you want to eat today?"

"It's almost there, just wait."

Yuto is going to cook.

After half an hour, three dishes and one soup are ready.

The two just picked up the chopsticks, and before they had time to start it, a mysterious person came.

"Yuto, in half an hour, Mizukage-sama will ask."

Anbu's ninja left without a word, whether Yuto agreed or not.

"What attitude!" Terumi Mei complained dissatisfiedly, she grabbed Yuto's hand and comforted: "Don't be afraid, I'll go with you later."

"afraid?"

Yuto smiled and said calmly, "I'm not afraid, but I'm just curious what he did to me, to avenge Zaibuzhan and Loquat Shizang?"

"I did some research, and Buzhan disappeared again. The loquat Shizang was found, but whether it can be rescued or not is still a question."

Terumi Mei glanced at Yuto, savage enough.

"According to my estimation, it should be something else. The real strength you have shown so far has surprised many people. Yagura will not act rashly."

Terumi Mei objectively analyzed a wave.

Yuto glanced at Terumi Mei, and what he said still made sense.
