Chapter 59
[]/(n, vs) anomaly/
Falco knocked on Shaw’s room door. No reply.
“Shaw.”
I knew I didn’t hear back. Turning the door handle to try, the door opened without any resistance. Falco spoke up when he walked into the room only a little hesitant.
Shaw, can I come in?
“You’re already in there.”
“Sorry.”
Shaw, who was lying on the bed and burying his face in the pillow, complained about the toy, but Falco didn’t like the fact that Shaw still refused either.
“Shaw, I’m sorry”
When he brought a chair by the bed and sat down, Falco reached out softly to Shaw, but pulled in. Shaw turned to the side a lot. Falco reached for his head and softened. That was not rejected. Falco was relieved.
I don’t know why Shaw’s angry.
Shaw stiffened his body. Falco rushed on.
“Then Hal explained it to me. Shaw says he’s sweet, so he feels like he’s hurt. I don’t care if I get hurt.”
“Don’t get hurt!
“Sorry, because that’s the hunter. But if I or Leon’s injury afflicts Shaw, I’ll be more careful now.”
Shaw finally got me up.
“In the world I was in, the injury didn’t even heal in potion, and there was no healing move. If it was a wound like Lyla’s today, it was probably a whole month of healing, or something that would make me sleep for a month or so. We don’t know that.”
Shaw shook his lips.
“Everybody’s important. It’s best not to get hurt, but if you do, it doesn’t matter if you’re a healer or something! There’s a good thing called potion, so use it properly!
“Okay. I’m sorry.”
“Yeah.”
Falco finally put Shaw, who had forgiven me, on his lap and hugged him as he moved from his chair to where he would sit in bed. If it’s for Shaw, it’s not hard to take care of yourself. With that in mind.
Besides, there’s no way Shaw’s wrath will subside like that. Of course Lyla, who was injured, told her partner Dread how important the potion was.
“Thought Shaw would be better off leaving no trace of the injury.”
“If it’s a trail of injury, then it can still be cured! You can’t be a little dangerous!
“I’m sorry”
Dredd seemed to have rarely had a heartfelt reflection. But Shaw wasn’t convinced by that alone. I could tell the mentor who came to see me, and I appealed to Gaius, who came to see me lucky enough to pack. That it would be cowardly to be able to say? It is worse for an adult who is not proper.
As a result, he somehow even got caught up in Gene and Bibal and got angry with his mentor and Gaius all the time.
“Maybe it’s not something I worry about.”
Shaw appealed to Gaius.
“I think it’s odd that we have all these well-armed hunters and they’re tired enough to get hurt. The first year could have been tough, but Falco alone should have been able to handle it. If we don’t add more hunters now, we’ll get injured again.”
“Hmm. And I came out directly. Shaw, Hal.”
“” Yes “”
They all replied and looked up at Gaius. Curly hair on one side, straight Sarah’s dark hair on the other, bright brown eyes. Gaius accidentally covered his mouth with his hands.
“Damn. Isn’t that cute?”
“” Yes?
“Nothing. I mean, it’s me.”
I wonder what it is. Both of them tilted their necks in alignment.
“In the meantime, I’d like to stay in for a week and see it look like a forest. Ready?”
Shaw looked at Hal face to face. What about the stock of food? There is. Where’s the room? I have two extra rooms.
“It’s okay.”
“Okay.”
Then for a week, Gaius took everyone around the woods. Until now we have been out in threes in pairs, but to avoid danger, we go hunting in pairs of three or four. Shaw and Hal were a little relieved.
And at the final day table, Gaius spoke out, enjoying his after-dinner tea.
“Uh, this mountain hut is really cozy. Well cleaned and laundered, and the food is delicious. Starting next year, I’ll tell the Alliance Leader to pay another paycheck.”
“Yay! Thanks! That’s not true, Gaius.”
Shaw accidentally looked at Gaius without being cold.
“Nice eye, Shaw.”
“Gaius.”
“I’m sorry, it’s a lone man bullshit.”
Shaw knows. That Gaius is having trouble getting married, choosing to live alone, and that he enjoys it. Shaw’s eyes became even colder. Gaius let his eyes swim.
“As it is, well, anyway, sure, there are many forest demons, and most importantly, I feel activated and moving faster than ever before. That’s why Lila got hurt because she couldn’t handle it.”
“Really? You know, I could’ve handled it all the time.”
Lila answers. He’s been injured for a week and ends up out hunting with little rest. Shaw wonders how people’s bodies work in this world.
“It would be fun if I could come all the way, no, it would help, but I can’t even say so when I’m going to be the representative of the town. For the rest of the room, that is, I’ll manage to collect the two hunters and send them here. And let’s put more effort into protecting the town. Sometimes just in case.”
Shaw was relieved that if the two of us were to come, we would figure it out.
“That’s true in summer hunting, and in the lake marshes and deep woods there are obviously more demons. But on the contrary, the plains are slightly reducing their imports of demonic meat. I don’t have a problem with cereals because they serve them properly, but is it possible that demons are occurring on a plain that doesn’t produce many demons?”
Gaius pounded and mouthed, as he then did.
“When this happens, I’m worried about the lake swamp, too. I haven’t been back in about a year, but something may have changed with last year. I’ll be back in the lake swamp once it’s spring.”
“I’ll follow you, too.”
“I’m sorry I just got hurt and let you think about it earlier.”
“It’s okay.”
Dredd and Lyla seem to return to the lake swamp in the spring. Shaw saw Falco look subtly relieved.
“Will you let the North Town know the results, Dredd?”
“I was going to come back here sometime next winter. Hopefully then.”
“Nice to meet you”
Falco turned to the side with his sieve, so Shaw accidentally almost laughed out.
“We’re all going to have to see someone on the plains. Perhaps it would be better around Falco, his appearance isn’t noticeable.”
“Me? It’s no use but hunting.”
To the point that I said it myself, I was aware of my lack of communication skills.
“And I’m raising a child.”
“So is that. I’ve never seen you grow it.”
We all nodded deeply at Gaius’s words. As you can see from this mountain cabin, it looks like Falco is just being looked after unilaterally.
“Leon, not if you’re snorting and squirting. You, too.”
“Oh, well, what, tea, change”
That was the northern town that survived the winter by increasing the number of people, but by the time the Falcos had returned to the northern town, urgent requests had come from the plains to their mentors to make noise.
“They’re still getting more demon damage, an unscrupulous request for more healers in a hurry”
Back in town, the mentor shook his head at Shaw, who turned to the church.
“I thought I had to go sometime. I’m going to dispatch a medic first, and while I’m making the potion hurry, I’m going to get my attitude together and go out. There you go, Shaw.”
“Yes?”
“Why don’t you come with me?”
“Me? I wonder if it helps.”
Shaw is still a youth group. I don’t think he only works like an adult. Still not sure it will help.
“You know that. Useful enough. Besides, there are signs of more demons in the northern towns, and we want to keep as many healers as possible who are not apprentices.”
“If that’s the case, I’ll talk to Falco”
The bullshit Gaius said was the moment it became reality.
