I Will Grind My Way To Godhood

Chapter 47: Just as Strong as I Am!

In the southern district, Lianming Street.

Lou Huiying stepped out from a restaurant, clad in a black dress and wielding a metal baseball bat in one hand, while she used a toothpick to pick her teeth with the other.

Her hair was dyed a garish golden color, looking rather dull and unkempt, resembling a bird's nest.

She wore an ornate crown with black floral engravings, yet her gloomy eyes made her appear not as a princess, but as an evil witch who had usurped a princess's crown.

"Where to next..." she murmured softly, her gaze sweeping the surroundings, causing anyone who met her eyes to shudder and quickly avert their glance.

It seemed she reveled in the fear she induced, as her eyes narrowed slightly and a grin tugged at her lips.

The thrill of doing as she pleased was simply exhilarating.

This street was hers!

She could do whatever she wanted!

Go to a restaurant, eat, then demand money from the owner.

If they refused, bash their head!

Go to a karaoke bar, sing, then demand money from the owner.

If they refused, bash their head!

Go to a club to find a man, have fun, then demand money from the man.

If they refused, have fun again!

This world was just so damn wonderful!

But it wasn’t enough!

She wanted more—more streets to dominate, more money to extort, more heads to smash, more men to enjoy!

"Hey, Sister Lou, take care."

A balding, middle-aged restaurant owner stood at the entrance, nodding and bowing to Lou Huiying.

Seeing him, Lou Huiying seemed to remember something.

She reached out, placing a hand on the owner's head, grasping it, and licked her lips, then said:

“Where are your two sons today? I haven't seen them around.”

The boss's mouth twitched, realizing what she meant.

“Uh, they both have the day off today...”

Lou Huiying's grip on his head tightened like iron clamps, making the boss feel as though his skull was cracking open. He couldn't help but cry out in pain.

“Stop, stop, stop! I get it, I get it, Sister Lou, I understand!”

As the vice-like grip on his head relaxed a bit, the boss sighed in relief, shaken, and said:

“Which one do you want? I’ll call him over right away.”

Lou Huiying raised an eyebrow.

“Which one?”

She leaned closer to the boss, her eyes wide, her mouth stretching into an exaggerated grin, drool dripping:

“Both of them are equally useless!”

Boss: “...”

……

Outside Lianming Street, over a dozen gang members wielding various weapons were storming their way down the street.

Leading them was a middle-aged man in a black sleeveless shirt, with a dragon tattoo sprawling over his shoulder.

“This time, with Brother Duan in the lead, that crazy woman Lou Huiying is done for!”

“Stupid woman, how dare she provoke our Razor Gang. She clearly has a death wish!”

“Damn it, she stuffed a baseball bat right up my you-know-what, and my backside still hasn't healed. Brother Duan, you have to avenge me! I'm going to do the same to her!”

As he listened to the chaotic shouts of his subordinates, Duan Kaiping furrowed his brow.

His master, Jiao Hongyuan, had warned him that they were in a critical period and that all disciples should refrain from causing trouble, keeping the Razor Gang members in check.

Despite his best efforts to avoid trouble, it seemed to find him nonetheless.

A deranged woman, Lou Huiying, had somehow appeared out of nowhere. Her actions were extremely brazen, and she'd even dared to provoke the Razor Gang.

Part of Lianming Street was under his control, and the protection fees collected there should have rightfully gone to him. Now, this woman had seized it all.

If he didn’t take a stand soon, his lack of response would seem even stranger to outsiders.

Thus, today he was left with no choice but to handle matters personally and eliminate this woman.

“Enough with the noise,”

Duan Kaiping scolded irritably.

His underlings immediately fell silent upon seeing his anger.

"A bunch of useless good-for-nothings,”

Duan Kaiping cursed internally.

They couldn't even deal with a woman, and now he had to intervene personally.

It was just like before; they couldn't even catch a mere student and had ended up getting pelted with stones like pitiful dogs.

Annoyed, he reached into his pocket, pulled out a pack of cigarettes, and stuck one in his mouth.

Taking a deep drag, he blew out a cloud of smoke.

At that moment, a seemingly ordinary boy with glasses passed by him. Duan Kaiping glanced at him twice, feeling a twinge of familiarity, but paid it no further thought, instead turning to his underlings and cautioning them:

“When the fight starts later, just stand aside and don’t cause me any trouble...”

“Hmm?”

Xue Jing turned his head to glance at the group of street youths.

A few of them looked quite familiar to him.

It seemed to be that day when Pei Youguang left his house, the people who wanted to kidnap him.

The leader called 'Brother Duan' was clearly Duan Kaiping.

Xue Jing adjusted his glasses, which glinted slightly in the sunlight.

"Interesting."

He pondered for a moment, then turned into an alleyway, circled around, and trailed behind Duan Kaiping and his gang from a distance.

The news that the Razor Gang was here to cause trouble quickly reached Lou Huiying's ears.

Sitting at the restaurant entrance, smoking, and pondering how she was going to handle them singlehandedly, Lou Huiying suddenly saw one of her lackeys running over, breathless.

"Boss, bad news! Duan Kaiping from the Razor Gang is here!"

Lou Huiying raised an eyebrow, nonchalant, "Who's this clown Duan Kaiping?"

Ever since she put on this headpiece, she felt like she was getting stronger at an astonishing pace every day.

She was practically a damn superwoman!

Duan Kaiping? Even Duan Zhengchun would be done for!

The lackey continued anxiously, "He's a core member of the Razor Gang. Rumor has it he can slice off a person's head with his bare hands!"

"They've arrived outside now, Boss. Let's make a run for it!"

Lou Huiying scoffed, said nothing, and lifted her metal baseball bat, striding straight outside.

Beating one before going 1v2 sounded like a good appetizer to her.

If this Duan... Ding Dong? was good-looking enough, then she'd go for 1v3!

Three wannabe badasses? I'd take 'em all!

The crown on Lou Huiying's head emitted a faint black aura, and she suddenly felt even more powerful than before.

On the other side, Duan Kaiping had arrived on the street, spotting from afar a woman with a baseball bat and golden hair. Without doubt, this was the person he was looking for. He immediately walked towards her with quickened steps.

The two came face to face, sizing each other up. Lou Huiying's expression showed a hint of disappointment.

“You punk, I hear you're quite the badass.”

Duan Kaiping squinted, taking a drag of his cigarette, ready to deliver a classic opening line to assert the Razor Gang's influence to the surrounding street spectators.

But just as he began to speak, the rush of wind followed swiftly. A metal baseball bat hurtled towards his forehead with great speed.

An instinctive jolt shook Duan Kaiping internally; he ducked his head just in time. The bat brushed his scalp, leaving a stinging sensation.

Feeling the fresh patch of emptiness on his head, Duan Kaiping's anger flared instantly.

“You wretch, courting death!”

He immediately fashioned his hands into blades, striking towards Lou Huiying.

The fierce force of his signature “Golden Wind White Rainbow Sword” was known for its sharpness, able to slice through iron and steel. Though Duan Kaiping hadn’t reached that level, cutting through flesh was still easy for him.

However, to his surprise, when his hand chopped at Lou Huiying’s neck, it felt like hitting a thickly leather-wrapped tree stump, making a harsh cracking noise, leaving only a thin red mark.

Realizing something was off, Duan Kaiping instantly knew this woman was no ordinary foe!

The baseball bat swung again, lightning fast. It aimed crudely but powerfully at his head. Knowing he couldn't withstand it directly, the sound alone revealed its terrifying strength.

As he attempted to dodge, a sudden thud erupted from his thigh.

A thumb-sized rock had come flying out of nowhere, piercing his thigh like a bullet, leaving a bloody hole.

With a scream from the blow, his movements stalled, and the whistling bat cracked against his head, sending him flying seven or eight meters, crashing through a barbershop window, landing still as death, life uncertain.

“Brother Duan!!”

His underlings gasped in shock.
