Chapter 395: 395: Bleach: The Cat Who Becomes a Beauty, The Strongest–Yamamoto Shigekuni Genryusai, The Jealous Mother? and Adopting, Feeding and Bathing Yoruichi.
Allen was having a staring contest with a black cat. He could just ask the cat directly if it was Shihoin Yoruichi. But in doing so he would have a lot of explaining to do.
Allen placed the cat on the park bench, pulled out a can of cat food, opened it, and set it in front of the animal. If she was Yoruichi, she wouldn't eat it.
The cat sniffed the can and then started eating it.
'It's just a normal cat...'
There was a mixture of disappointment and relief in Allen's thoughts. Relief because it meant Urahara likely wasn't aware of his presence... or at least didn't know it was him. Disappointment, however, because he wouldn't get to meet Yoruichi. After all, she's one of Bleach's most popular characters and easily in the top three waifus in this world (not his words, just what the popularity lists say).
Allen petted the cat for a while before standing up to leave. Karakura Town was quite a big place.
Who knows how many black cats there were in Karakura? The odds of running into the one that happened to be Yoruichi were practically zero.
Allen left, and the cat watched him until he disappeared into the distance.
The black cat stopped eating, stepped into a bush, and slowly transformed into a beautiful woman.
No one would imagine that this black cat with golden eyes is actually a very attractive woman, a mixed-race brunette with very large breasts and a slender body. Her eyes, even when restored to their normal appearance, maintain their golden color, which gives her an even more exotic air, while her dark purple hair is combed in a long ponytail.
...
But the most incredible thing about this woman is that she was naked; of course, if she was transformed into a cat, it is normal, but it is still shocking. Unfortunately, Allen was already gone and could not witness this.
She had an expression of distaste as she stuck out her tongue. "It's bitter... Did I really have to resort to eating that?..."
Like all Shinigami, Yoruichi had an incredibly long lifespan, and appearances couldn't be trusted. In the past, she had been a master of infiltration and assassination. If she couldn't endure eating a little cat food, she wouldn't have survived this long.
"But what a peculiar boy. His Reiatsu feels like a Shinigami's, yet he has a physical body... and he's not in a Gigai."
(Gigai: A temporary artificial body used by Shinigami in the human world to restore energy and interact with ordinary people.)
Yoruichi tilted her head. "This is so strange. For a moment, I thought he would discover my disguise. I must be more careful... Is he not used to sensing Reiatsu?"
She had only found Allen because he'd let a small amount of Reiatsu slip out in frustration because of Aizen, but he quickly suppressed it again.
Yoruichi was very curious, "What a strange little brat..."
The woman transformed into a cat again and began to follow Allen from a safe distance.
...
Allen planned to spend time at the Kurosaki household but also needed to find a base of operations in this world—in other words, a house.
He bought a phone and started browsing listings for houses and apartments in Karakura. Of course, most Quincys were wealthy and could easily secure him a mansion, but Allen didn't like that idea. If this place might eventually connect to his other properties, it was better not to involve third parties.
"Wait!~"
Nokotan appeared before Allen, wearing an office suit and glasses and holding a briefcase.
Allen looked at her, wondering what she was up to this time.
"Allen-kun, don't you think it's time to let us have some say in this?"
Allen blinked slowly, "What are you talking about?"
Nokotan adjusted her glasses, " Nununu~ I mean, in every world, you buy a house and usually let your lovers choose it. But in this world, you don't have one... yet. So why not let us pick it this time?"
Rebecca appeared, giving Nokotan a thumbs-up, followed by Harley, who hugged her.
"The deer has great ideas!~"
"Of course! I'm the smartest deer in the world..."
Strangely, no one could refute Nokotan's claim because it was true.
Allen hesitated to hand the phone to Nokotan. Then, looking at Harley, he hesitated again before ultimately giving it to Esdeath.
"Hey!" Rebecca protested, annoyed that Allen chose Esdeath.
"You can all suggest options based on your preferences, but I want a normal place. If you want to include things like a deer shrine, a shooting range, or a torture chamber, you'll have to add them to your own rooms..."
The girls complained but reluctantly agreed.
Allen returned to the Kurosaki house while they took care of finding a secondary location, preferably not too far from there.
---
In the Gotei 13, a captain's meeting was being held, including their lieutenants. The atmosphere was tense. A group of intruders in the Rukongai had caused panic, and two captains, along with their lieutenants, had failed to stop them.
The captains stood in a line without speaking as an elderly man, bald with a long mustache and beard, addressed them.
Despite his hunched posture and walking stick, he did not appear weak. With sword scars across his body and face and an overwhelming Reiatsu, this imposing elder could make many present breaks into a sweat.
This man was Yamamoto Genryusai Shigekuni, the captain of the First Division. For over a thousand years, he had been considered the strongest Shinigami—a monster wielding the most powerful fire-based Zanpakuto.
"Hitsugaya Toshiro, Matsumoto Rangiku, Unohana Yachiru, Kotetsu Isane, Madarame Ikkaku, and Ayasegawa Yumichika... can you explain the disgrace of your actions?!"
The elder's tone was harsh, gruff, and merciless. This was no child's game. He had seen all the captains grow from brats to warriors and watched many die or retire. He would not go easy on anyone.
'Yamaji doesn't hold back when scolding people,' thought a captain wearing a pink kimono over his haori.
Another captain with long, pale white hair and a sickly complexion looked on with pity. 'Poor Toshiro-kun... It's not his fault. Half the captains would've been caught off guard by an enemy that strong.'
Hitsugaya Toshiro was acknowledged as a genius, and everyone knew that, in time, he would become one of the strongest captains in history. But for now, he was far from that level. He didn't even have a fully developed Bankai, so it was understandable that he lost.
"Captain Yamamoto, the responsibility is mine alone," Hitsugaya stepped forward, while Rangiku swallowed nervously behind him.
"It doesn't matter whose fault it is. Letting captain-level enemies escape without taking their heads or dying in the process... is one of the greatest failures for a captain!"
"I understand."
The captain in the pink kimono spoke in a light and jocular tone, "Yamaji... aren't you being a bit too harsh? Even I might've let someone like that slip away~"
"Silence, brat!"
Kyoraku Shunsui sighed in embarrassment. Despite being over 700 years old, Yamamoto still treated him like a child.
"The Soul Society and the human world depend on the competence of the thirteen captains. Your positions form the foundation of this existence. If we fall, everything ends!"
Unohana chuckled softly. "In that case, shouldn't I be scolded as well?"
The captains shivered. Unohana had been part of the first generation of the Gotei 13. In this version of the world, she hadn't left the Eleventh Division. Instead, she had killed anyone who dared challenge her for the title of Kenpachi. So there has been only one single Kempachi.
"..." Yamamoto eased his hostility. Remaining angry would only provoke a fight between the two, which would tear the Seireitei apart. "Captain Unohana, what are your thoughts on the Ryoka?"
Tension rose. They knew Unohana had encountered the intruders, but her Reiatsu had suddenly vanished, and no one knew what happened afterward.
"They were strong," Unohana smiled warmly as an aura of bloodlust surrounded her. "And "He" was so strong that he managed to leave without me stopping him~"
The captains, lieutenants, and officers Yumichika and Ikkaku felt a mixture of chills and strangeness at seeing Unohana talk so animatedly about an enemy... but everyone knew she was a little crazy so no one paid too much attention to her.
The captains were well aware of Unohana Yachiru's personality. She obsessed over strong opponents and wouldn't stop until she killed them. Few had survived an encounter with her.
If someone had managed to escape her, they must be incredibly powerful.
Yamamoto was silent for a moment, then looked at the young captain, "Captain Hitsugaya Toshiro what is the full story."
"Understood"
Hitsugaya explained everything in detail, from their first encounter to the conclusion.
...
"A soul with captain-level Reiatsu claiming to be a mere servant? That sounds insane..." said Captain Soifon.
Soifon (Sui Feng) was a petite woman with a slender build, though in this world, her figure was notably more feminine. She had a strict, almost cold look that drove people away, but she was a beautiful woman who was very responsible.
The woman with a serious expression and furrowed brow had dark gray eyes and short black hair with a slight bluish hue, except for two braided strands that reached her back, wrapped in cloth and gold rings.
Over her Shinigami uniform, Soifon wore a sleeveless white haori, signifying her position as a Gotei 13 captain. Her outfit included a yellow sash belt tied over her haori and traditional Chinese-style shoes, light and suited for martial arts. Unlike most Shinigami, she carried her Zanpakuto horizontally on her back.
...
"I don't like such suspicious and strong people out there...I'll organize a search squad."
Kurotsuchi Mayuri, the captain of the Twelfth Division, grinned maniacally. His blue hair, yellow eyes, and unnaturally white face made him stand out.
"They weren't Shinigami. But what were they? Quincys?! Don't tell me they were humans?! hehehe~"
Mayuri couldn't wait to capture one of the intruders and experiment on it.
The captains had different opinions. Some supported searching for and capturing the Ryoka, or killing them if necessary. Others preferred to reinforce the Seireitei's security in case of an invasion.
A few captains suggested a peaceful approach to find the intruders. After all, it seemed the intruders had no intention of killing the Shinigami; otherwise, two lieutenants and two officers would no longer be present. One thing was certain: this wouldn't be the last they'd hear of the Ryoka.
...
Allen returned to the Kurosaki household. Many things had changed, and he had to accept them. Karin wasn't easy to approach and kept her distance, while Yuzu was kind and welcoming. As for Masaki, although nervous and scared, she decided to view Allen as a nephew at his request.
Allen found this amusing since Masaki looked like she wanted to bash her head against the ground after hearing his proposal.
...
Allen ended his day by returning to his world, apologizing for the inconvenience of the chat being disabled—it wasn't his intention for it to be that way.
The next day, Allen went to Mansion X to give a small lesson to the students.
That "small lesson" wasn't small at all. Allen transported the students to a fictional city that had suffered a massive earthquake.
Standing before the students in dress pants, a wool vest, and glasses, Allen fully embraced his role as a teacher when needed.
"Everyone, the easiest way to learn how to handle your powers is by simulating a situation where lives depend on your actions."
"But isn't that a superhero's job?"
"That depends on how you look at it. In the end, your abilities can kill people if not used carefully."
"Are you referencing *My Hero Academia*?" Rogue asked uncomfortably.
Allen shook his head. "I was actually referencing Superman. But sure, that works too."
In the "fictional city," Allen was careful this time to avoid what had happened in the past with powers spiraling out of control. The Phoenix emerged and perched on Allen's shoulder.
"What are you waiting for? Go. There are mannequins everywhere simulating real people."
The mutant students exchanged glances before scattering in different directions.
Allen looked at the Phoenix apologetically. "Sorry, the plan didn't work."
The Phoenix wished it could spend more time with Allen, hoping it might be possible in other worlds. But it hadn't manifested in the *Kung Fu Panda* universe, nor in *Bleach.* It seemed that the Phoenix was an essential entity within the Marvel multiverse and couldn't leave it.
"Shree~"
Allen gently petted the Phoenix's head to comfort it, and the bird rubbed its head against Allen's cheek.
'That's not just a bird…' Artoria thought as she observed Allen treating the creature like an ordinary pet. 'It's better if I don't say anything...'
...
Rogue and Kitty ran through the city, navigating collapsed buildings and various fires. There were many mannequins, some green and others red.
"Rogue, over there!"
The two girls spotted a mannequin trapped under a burning car.
They rushed to the car. Rogue tried to open the driver's door, but it was stuck. Kitty used her power to phase through the car and pull the mannequin out.
But the mannequin was as heavy as a robust adult man, making it difficult for Kitty to hold on her own.
"I can't!" Kitty shouted.
Rogue tried to help but panicked when her gloves disappeared. She quickly remembered this was just a test, tore a piece of fabric from her jacket, wrapped it around her hands, and dragged the mannequin to safety.
Not far away, Allen smiled. Improvisation was part of this exercise, and Rogue had done well. Kitty too, of course.
Unfortunately, not everything went as smoothly. Bobby tried to extinguish a fire with his ice powers but accidentally froze two mannequins. The mannequins turned red, indicating they would have died by human standards.
Bobby stared in shock, and then Allen's voice echoed from the sky.
"Green mannequins represent living people. Red mannequins signify the deceased. If a mannequin turns red, it means a normal person would've died."
Bobby fell to his knees and vomited. The other students also turned pale.
...
Rias – We can't comment in the world of Bleach, who knew we could in this situation?
Annie – Natural disasters are some of the greatest tragedies, reminding us of our place in the world.
Gwen – I get what you are trying to do, but isn't this a bit harsh for them?
"No, it's the best way for them to learn two things: their powers are incredible but dangerous, and despite that, they're still human—beings with limitations. Sometimes, there's nothing you can do."
Allen's words left everyone silent. The students did their best, but it was futile.
Colossus broke down a wall to rescue someone, but this caused the building to collapse, crushing other mannequins.
"Structures are weak after earthquakes. Be careful, Peter."
Scott used his optic blast to cut cables trapping a person, but the cables were live wires, and the person was electrocuted.
"Don't trust fallen cables; they might still be carrying electricity."
Cate tried to pull a mannequin away from a creaking wall, but the mannequin refused to move, acting as if it were panicked.
"People are irrational in times of crisis. Don't expect them to act with logic or reason."
Angel flew through the air, rescuing two small mannequins from a building. However, just as he exited, the building exploded.
"Angel, you made the right decision. If that mannequin were a parent, they'd thank you for saving their children first."
It was a hard experience for the students to witness and endure. Their powers weren't as amazing as they once thought. Today, no one left without letting a mannequin die, not even Jean, despite her huge power.
Allen praised the students, who, though disheartened, had taken a crucial step forward today.
Allen spent a day in his world and then returned to Bleach's world. After speaking with his girlfriends, he realized he would have to alter the timeline between the two worlds by a few months. At the start of the canon, Allen would take this step to assume responsibility for the absence of "the chosen one" in this world.
Because of the temporal alteration, he would only spend one day in this world even if Allen spends weeks in the other. I don't want to do that anymore, but they are missing in time for Kuchiki Rukia to appear, and the story would have begun.
...
...
...
He spent two weeks in the *Bleach* world.
When Allen opened his eyes in "his" room, he felt a little sorry for Ichigo, but since the original owner had never been born, he quickly dismissed the thought and claimed the space as his own.
Of course, Allen also had his own house, where the dolls took turns relaxing during their free time and spending time with him.
Allen looked at Rebecca, who was lying on top of him. The girl had a smudge of oil on her cheek from working late in her workshop and falling asleep with him afterward.
Allen smiled and used his hand to wipe the mark from her cheek.
The room was small, with white and brown tones. There was originally a single bed near the window, but Allen had replaced it with a double bed.
There was also a small desk that Allen had modified to fit a large monitor and a high-performance PC. He probably wouldn't use it since the system handled editing all his content, but it would be embarrassing not to have a proper setup.
Allen got up and left Rebecca to sleep, heading for the door, where he found Masaki smiling at him.
"Good morning, Allen-kun! Breakfast is ready~"
In the end, Aunt Masaki turned out to be an open-minded woman, quickly adapting to the idea of her majesty being her nephew.
"Thank you, Aunt Masaki…"
Allen wanted to head to the bathroom for a shower, but Masaki didn't leave. She just stood there, smiling.
"Allen-kun…"
"Yes?"
"Who's that girl in your bed?"
Allen opened his eyes wide. Considering his history with women, it had been a long time since he'd needed to explain something like this.
"She's Rebecca… It's a complicated relationship…"
Allen wasn't ready to mention that he had a whole entourage of women following him at all times.
Masaki puffed out her cheeks like a child and then huffed.
"Hmph, I see… And who was the woman from yesterday?"
Yesterday, Allen had woken up with Harley in his bed.
"That was Harley… Masaki, I'm Your Majesty, remember?"
"Oh!, that's right! I'm sorry your Majesty, hmph!"
Masaki turned and walked away while Allen blinked, confused. Did Kurosaki Masaki really have this kind of personality? Wasn't she supposed to be a loving mother?
Allen decided to believe that this was just jealousy and anger of an aunt towards a nephew who has a life on the edge of decency.
Allen is not a degenerate, out of respect for Ichigo and his father, even if they do not exist in this world, he will respect their family.
[That seems more difficult than finding Urahara Kisuke...]
Allen shook his head again convincing himself that Masaki is a normal aunt to him.
...
*Meow*
As Allen grabbed a towel from the closet, a cat came through the window.
"Hey…" Allen approached and picked up the black cat. He petted the cat and then put her down on the floor. He wasn't dumb... it was strange for this cat to follow him everywhere.
Allen opened a can of cat food and placed it on the floor.
"How about this? Chicken and tuna flavor…"
Allen wore a mischievous smile. However, the cat began eating without hesitation. Finding this odd, Allen picked up the can and tasted it with his finger.
"This isn't for humans…" Allen grimaced. It seemed this really was just an ordinary cat.
Allen decided to take a shower but glanced at the black cat before leaving. It seemed like a stray, as he'd seen it wandering the neighborhood occasionally, and lately, it had been coming to his house more often.
Feeling responsible, Allen decided to bathe it. He didn't know where it had been, and while he was immune to diseases, Yuzu, Karin, and Masaki were not.
"Don't take it the wrong way, but if you're going to spend so much time here, you'll have to follow some rules, Kuro."
The cat meowed and tried to break free, but Allen was physically a monster. Unable to escape, the cat gave up.
Allen went to the bathroom and filled the tub with hot water. He'd bathe first and then bathe the cat.
The cat had a fixed gaze on him as he undressed, Allen imagined what a scene it would be if that cat was Yoruichi.
'System?'
[Allen I told you, in worlds outside of DC and Marvel, I know as much as you do... she looks like a cute, normal cat to me]
Allen looked into the cat's eyes. There was no human emotion, only the curiosity of a feline. Allen became more convinced that Kuro was just a cat.
Allen entered the tub and relaxed. Just to clarify, there was no stream at the moment... broadcasting this would be far too risky.
He thought about his current situation. On one hand, the system had informed him of strong Reiatsu appearances in the human world. The Shinigamis seemed to be searching for him.
On the other hand, there was no trace of Urahara Kisuke. With the system's help, Allen had tried to locate Urahara's shop using *Bleach*'s information, but it was impossible. Two days before, Allen felt he had found the right place, but it wasn't there, or perhaps, as he suspected, Urahara had moved it elsewhere.
Allen had also searched through every black cat he could find, but none seemed to be Yoruichi. Finding her would make locating Urahara much easier.
As Allen closed his eyes, lost in thought, he didn't notice his cat transforming into a completely naked woman. The stealth of an ex-captain of the Shinigami special forces was terrifying.
More than anything, Allen was no longer cautious with Kuro.
'Damn kid, you've made me eat that stuff for two weeks… You're lucky you're a little cute, or I'd smack you…'
Yoruichi, an expert in reading human habits and behavior, knew it would take Allen a minute to open his eyes when he was deep in thought. She also knew Allen was highly sensitive to malicious intent, though fortunately, she had none toward him.
Yoruichi smirked mischievously. She felt her two weeks of torture deserved proper compensation. Reaching her hand toward the water, she thought: 'Be prepared to pay me back for all the suffering, kid~'
===
A/N: Yoruichi had to eat the bitter stuff Allen was giving him for two weeks 🍷🗿... hahaha
