Chapter 24: The monster: Doomsday
The sound of the atmosphere filled with devastating impacts as everyone watched in shock.
This had long ceased to be mere entertainment; Allen and Superman were literally risking their lives. Blood continued to flow from all three, although, in Allen's case, it was due to the damage caused by pushing his abilities to the limit.
Allen managed to free himself from Doomsday and distanced himself, but it wasn't the same for Clark, who was caught by Doomsday. Massive bone-filled fists brutally pounded Superman's body, causing internal injuries and broken bones throughout.
Seeing them heading back to the city, Allen clicked his tongue in annoyance. It seemed harder to get this monster out of Metropolis than to defeat it.
In his heart, Allen apologized to Clark and appeared next to him and Doomsday.
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red." Allen felt his brain burning every time he tried to force the unlimited technique, but he had to endure until finishing off Doomsday.
A red shockwave hit Doomsday and Clark, diverting their falling trajectory away from Metropolis.
...
Doomsday and Superman ended up falling in an abandoned supermarket outside the city.
"Clark," Allen stepped forward and caught Superman with Clown Crown. "Are you okay?"
Doomsday crashed to the ground with a massive explosion, his body turning into a meteorite that demolished the abandoned supermarket.
Allen landed on the ground, feeling fatigue accumulating. Unlike Superman, his damage was mainly caused by his cursed technique.
Superman, in pain from his injuries, looked at Allen. "You just attacked me, after being Doomsday's punching bag. What do you think?"
"Haha, sorry," Allen laughed.
Allen looked seriously at the supermarket. All versions of Doomsday were monsters, but after exchanging blows with him, Allen knew that this Doomsday was not one of the weaker ones, unfortunately.
Allen glanced at Clark recovering not too far away, and their eyes also looked tired. Both knew they couldn't prolong the fight much or they would die.
"I need him to stay still for twenty seconds," Allen said.
"Understood," Clark nodded without questioning Allen, even knowing how difficult that would be. "Let's damage him so much and so many times that he can't move."
Allen pulled out some health and stamina recovery bottles from his inventory and threw them to Superman, who didn't question them and drank them.
Superman had been risking his life with Allen, and vice versa, so this level of trust between them was natural.
Allen did the same and drank recovery bottles, but unfortunately, the current store's healing level was too low to fully restore someone like Superman.
The damage generated by a power like the cursed unlimited technique and the six eyes also exceeded the current level of recovery bottles. Still, it was a sigh of relief for both and allowed them to recover a bit.
Which is better than nothing.
The ground shook, and Allen jumped into the sky while Superman struck the ground, breaking everything for miles around.
Allen's eyes sharpened, and white ropes emerged from his coat, this time with sharp tips. Clown Crown's spears pierced the ground at the speed of sound, searching for Doomsday.
With the city now out of the picture, Allen had one less concern. He no longer needed to use Clown Crown defensively and could use it for offense as well.
Allen silently observed the ground. Doomsday was not unscathed; that was a fact. But given time, he would heal and become stronger.
Allen looked at Superman, and he returned the gaze. As if both knew what the other was thinking, they heightened their combat instinct.
Clark leaned forward and, with a shout, propelled himself into the ground the same way he propelled himself into the sky.
A massive explosion sent thousands of tons of rock and dirt flying. Several miles later, Superman emerged from the ground, pushing Doomsday with his fists buried in his stomach.
Doomsday was still not recovered and was bleeding from many wounds all over his body. Nevertheless, he planted his feet on the ground to stop and used his elbow to try to hit Superman. However, just before that, he received a kick to his faces from Allen. He then received another blow from Superman in the mouth of his stomach, causing him to bend forward.
Allen used his knee and struck him on his already broken chin. The monster tried to respond with a punch, but Clark grabbed his arm, preventing him from attacking, and Allen seized the opportunity to hit Doomsday's chest, amplifying his abilities to the maximum. Once the blow landed, Allen reversed the cursed technique.
"Red!"
Doomsday's chest exploded, and his ribs shattered from the accumulated damage and close-range red.
Superman didn't let him escape and started spinning Doomsday, holding him by the arm. Allen distanced himself.
The centrifugal force quickly created a massive tornado, and Superman threw Doomsday toward Allen. The latter abandoned the defensive infinite and concentrated his cursed energy on the most powerful Red he could muster. Combined with the force in which Doomsday was flying, the damage he would receive was amplified.
The massive impact was as significant as a nuclear explosion. Inside, Doomsday's scream was heard, but it wasn't just one of fury; there was pain.
Allen emerged from the epicenter, his clothes in tatters but he was fine thanks to Clown Crown.
This exertion was worth it. Doomsday appeared from the dust, driven by pure rage and a thirst for blood.
Allen just smiled as the monster charged at him. "What's wrong with your arm?" Allen asked Doomsday, who was missing an arm.
Doomsday was full of the purest murderous intent. The apocalypse creature sacrificed one of its arms to block Red, but this filled him with blind rage and a desire to destroy this world.
Allen activated the infinite and saw Doomsday stop in front of him. The monster stared at him with endless hatred, but far from being afraid, Allen just remained silent. Still, the blood that Allen shed from his mouth, nose, and ears kept increasing.
Doomsday couldn't adapt to the neutral infinite that worked as a defense between Allen and his enemies, like Mahoraga in Jujutsu, because it wasn't an attack. However, Allen is not Gojo and can't use the infinite perpetually. Moreover, Allen only has limited time.
Allen wiped the blood from his mouth, narrowed his eyes, and then crouched as Doomsday's punch slid over him. Allen buried his fist in the massive body of the monster with a shout.
Clark arrived from behind and punched Doomsday in the face. Without even looking at each other or exchanging any words, both began to hit Doomsday relentlessly, one after another.
People were astonished to see such a display of coordination. Each one struck right after the other, from different angles and forms, leaving no moment for the monster to react. It was a beautiful coordination of consecutive blows.
Allen kicked Doomsday's calf from behind, making him kneel.
Superman came from the front with a forearm blow to Doomsday's neck and slammed him to the ground.
Allen wrapped Doomsday's feet with Clown Crown and threw him, pinning him against a rock wall.
Superman crashed into Doomsday, piercing the massive wall and knocking him down on the other side. Allen appeared just as Doomsday looked at the sky and, without mercy, lifted his foot and crushed the monster's head, creating a large crater.
Superman rose into the air and inflated his lungs. Allen withdrew, and a huge blizzard enveloped Doomsday, slowly freezing his body. Allen used Clown Crown to restrict Doomsday even more.
Once Clark finished, Doomsday stood as an ice statue. Of course, this wouldn't last long.
"Allen!" This time it was Clark who called Allen by his name, but Allen had no mind to pay attention to the fact that Clark knew his name.
Allen closed his eyes, recalling one of his last conversations with Satoru Gojo.
«As I thought, it was impossible...»
«Gojo sensei?»
«You won't be able to use the Domain Expansion... I'm teaching you to use the abilities you acquired, but among them, the "unfathomable void" wasn't included... technically, you're not a sorcerer; you can only use my techniques... but it's true you have your own cursed energy, but without the necessary training, it's useless.»
«I know that... after an hour, I'll lose the cursed unlimited technique and the six eyes, until the skill showdown is over.»
«Don't make that face. No power is perfect, but yours is limited differently. What's better, being Krillin twenty-four hours a day or being Beerus for one second?»
«That's rude to Krillin... Gojo sensei...»
«Hehe~ Anyway, since you can't use the Domain Expansion, I'll teach you something else.»
«...»
«Well, it's not a big surprise; you already have blue and red... only one more left.»
Allen opened his eyes, fixed on the frozen Doomsday that was starting to escape from his prison.
"Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue."
"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red."
A red and a blue sphere began to merge behind Allen as space distorted.
"Convergence and divergence, amplification and reversal, both infinities collide to push an imaginary mass capable of annihilating everything, that is known as... Hollow: Purple..."
In front of Allen, a giant purple sphere was created, sending shivers even down Superman's spine. At the same time, Clark realized it wasn't so fast that he couldn't dodge it; that's why Allen needed to keep Doomsday in one place.
Allen felt like he was about to lose consciousness using Purple; this was beyond what he could endure. Still, Allen gritted his teeth and finished the technique, then unleashed Purple, disintegrating everything in its path.
In a perfect world, this would be the end of the fight, but Doomsday broke his seal at the last moment, surprising everyone.
Allen felt his plan had failed, but before he could regret it, he saw a blue and red blur of a battered figure jumping and clinging to Doomsday.
Superman looked towards Allen with gratitude and a faint smile as he held Doomsday in the path of Purple.
"Wait!" Allen couldn't react and could only watch as Superman was about to be swallowed by his attack.
«Allen, my powers can easily kill people... in my case, I don't mind if many die because of me, as long as there aren't too many victims. But can you bear the burden of innocent deaths on your conscience?...»
Allen could only watch as his body no longer responded after using Purple.
"Please don't forget that you're not the only ones fighting." Barry within the Speed Force appeared at the last moment before the sphere hit both of them and he grabbed Clark to pull him out of there.
Allen saw this with his six eyes and let out a sigh of relief. Then he looked at Doomsday roaring and being swallowed by Purple.
Allen isn't such a good person to worry about his enemies, especially if they are murderous monsters, but...
"I'm sorry..." Allen murmured where no one could hear him. There was no regret in his words, but there was pity for what was once a man and didn't deserve to become that thing.
"Hey, old man, that was close; you almost got killed," Flash scolded Superman. Batman prioritized healing Barry over everyone else so that he could help if necessary.
Flash watched the fight, thinking his intervention wouldn't be necessary, but who would have thought that at the last minute, Superman would sacrifice himself like that? Although Clark wasn't entirely wrong, Allen wouldn't be able to use Purple again if this failed.
An atomic-level annihilation was the best option to end Doomsday.
...
Allen sighed in relief, but his body began to fall. However, he felt someone holding him.
"Is this also tradition?" Allen smiled, feeling a woman's chest on his face.
"Yes..." Diana replied as she hugged Allen tightly.
Allen closed the transmission, leaving a message to everyone, "Today, I'm tired, we'll talk later."
Allen couldn't know the madness of what had happened in his world due to his live broadcast.
"Hey Clark, is this legal?" Flash whispered, seeing the image of Diana lovingly embracing Allen.
"Don't get involved in that, or Diana will split you with her sword," Clark said, leaning on Flash.
...
Allen opened his eyes on an unfamiliar bed; immediately, he felt the presence of two women in his arms. If it were just one woman, he would think it was MJ, but two.
Allen looked down in shock and saw a beautiful naked woman clinging to him.
Then he looked to the other side and saw Wednesday lying down. Allen calmed down when he saw that Wednesday was dressed.
"I thought you couldn't sleep," Allen asked, smiling.
"I was just practicing being a corpse..." Wednesday said as she opened her eyes. "And are you going to ignore the naked woman?"
Allen was trying hard to ignore that issue; he could feel many intimate areas of Diana at the moment.

I would like to know what it was that you liked about the previous chapter that made you push this story. Maybe that will help me maintain quality and again thank you all for your support ;3
