Two of them met eyes with one another and the little zombie was taken aback. His rosy red lips were slightly agape however not a single sound came out from his mouth while he looked at her with a dazed expression.
Yun Xia didn’t seem to panic and reached out to clean the saliva stain on his face before turning to the other side. “You’re awake? Wash up and eat breakfast.”
Her shaking the world mission was almost completed and was on its ending stages.
Next, she would find the scientists at the science center to help Yan Zhuo settle his problems.
She got off the bed as though nothing had happened.
The little zombie who was bitten was left behind. He touched his fair and tender face while in a daze.
He froze and drooped his eyes before climbing over and getting off the bed. He touched his face again while his eyes were written with confusion. He asked in a soft voice, “Xiaxia, what were you doing just now?”
The girl turned around to face him and impatiently narrowed her eyes. She rushed him, “Why do you have so many questions? Quickly wash up and eat your breakfast. We still have matters to settle later.”
The kid was left scratching his head after being rushed to wash up.
He was tripped by his silver hair again and bent down to obediently pick it up. He then left with his eyes filled with confusion.
Xiaxia bit him?
However, what’s there to bite on his face? Xiaxia was not a zombie and wouldn’t eat humans.
How strange…
After they ate breakfast, they went to the science center.
On their way there, everyone who had seen the great demon lord greeted her politely.
The little zombie looked up to take a glance at the girl, however, he realized that she did not even turn to look at those people. She did not have a single reaction to their respect towards her and it was as if that was very normal.
Yun Xia was indeed used to such treatments and held hands with the little zombie while her face was devoid of expression.
After she told the people in the science center her purpose for visiting, the lab manager looked at the little zombie in disbelief.
Yan Zhuo did not like to be stared at and just slightly drooped his eyelashes. His two hands held Yun Xia’s fingers and hid behind her.
He looked very fair, soft and cute. As such, the lab manager’s gaze immediately softened and took out a bangle to pass to Yun Xia. “This was used when we were examining zombies previously, however, in the end, we were still not able to find the antidote to the zombie virus…”
She sighed, “The zombie virus is too complicated and with insufficient data, it is very difficult to clear it from the blood system.”
Yun Xia was expressionless during the former part of his speech and it was not until she heard about the function of the bangle that she froze.
“What is this… for?” asked Yun Xia out of uncertainty.
The lab manager said, “It is a mood detector.”
Yun Xia: “…”
What was she saying a while ago?!
A while ago, she really wished that there was a mood detector in this world… and there really was one!
She took the bangle and looked at it curiously before asking the lab manager, “How do we use it?”
The lab manager took a glance at the kid and kindly explained, “There is a light indicator on it. When he is feeling happy, the blue light will light up. If he is angry, the red light will light up.”
Was it that amazing?
Yun Xia unlocked the bangle and said to the kid, “Come here, I will put it on for you.”
Yan Zhuo obediently put out his hand to her.
The bangle was worn on his fair and tender small hands. The little zombie looked down at it.
The light on the bangle did not light up.
The lab manager said, “You can bring him around for a walk. The changes in his body will be monitored and we can use his data for research.”
“Okay.” Yun Xia nodded her head.
She held the little zombie’s hand and dragged him out.
When he was being held by Yun Xia, he was slightly stunned, however, his face quickly became devoid of expression, obediently allowing himself to be dragged out.
The lab manager was shocked.
She didn’t know whether she had seen it wrongly, but a faint blue light flashed on the bangle.
