But now was not the time to be complacent. There were still many more powerful men than him in the Marvel Universe. His strength could only be considered to be somewhere in the middle of all the superheroes.

Afterwards, he went to the Captain’s side again. Now that Captain America had returned to his peak, his training plan would need to change. Naturally, the Captain had no objections toward this as Bruce’s strength had proven to be beyond his imagination.

After giving Captain America his new training plan, the two passed their time in silence. The Captain was not as cold as before, there was even some goodwill in his eyes, which probably came from his respect toward the strong.

Time flew by, and soon a week passed. One particular morning, Hill came to them.

“Bruce, your task has been completed!” Hill said as she looked at Bruce. She was in fact very surprised, Bruce had somehow managed to return the Captain to his peak state in less than two weeks.

The main reason was because the Captain’s self-discipline was very good, but there was a premise to that. It was the training plan that Bruce had made for him.

After this task, she had admired Bruce even more.

“You have done well in this task Bruce, the reward will be sent to you shortly.”

Hearing this, Bruce was secretly relieved. According to the timeline, Loki should soon fall to the Earth, which would deal a heavy blow to S.H.I.E.L.D. It could be said that the whole of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be shaken up by him.

However, Bruce did not care about those matters, all he cared about was if his reward would arrive on time. As long as it did, everything would be good.

“This is my duty,” Bruce replied.

Hill nodded, then looked at the Captain with a smile.

“Captain, Coulson will give you a surprise gift for your return soon.”

The gift, was of course, the Captain’s battlesuit. Bruce already knew about this so he wasn’t surprised at the least.

“I’m an old man already past his prime, I have no more time to develop, but thanks,” the Captain replied, looking very calm.

In fact, anyone would be like this after being asleep for seventy years. The main reason was that everything had changed, and he knew that all too well.

“Well then Captain, have a good rest. Bruce, come with me.” Hill said no more and just looked at Bruce.

The task had been completed, It was time to go back now. Bruce nodded then turned to the Captain, “Captain, we will meet again.”

With that, Bruce walked out of the room after Hill. It was finally time to really go into the plot of The Avengers. For this, Bruce had been preparing for as long as he could remember.

Looking at Bruce’s back, the Captain shouted: “Thank you Bruce!”

Bruce did not bother to turn around, he just waved his hand. There were still many things basically waiting for him.

Soon after, they took a car and returned to the Avengers base.

“Your work has been very good recently, maybe you will be promoted to a level 7 agent soon.” Sitting in shotgun, Hill looked at Bruce through the rearview mirror and said.

Bruce just smiled, opting to remain quiet.

“Okay, the reward has sent. Now, you can rest for a while,” Hill said as she glanced at her phone.

Bruce replied casually, he knew that It was impossible to have a good rest. Sure enough, soon afterwards Hill’s phone rang immediately as the car arrived at the base.

“What’s wrong Coulson? …What? That’s not normal. I’ll come right away.”

They had yet to enter the base, but Hill had gotten Coulson’s call and immediately afterwards her face had changed. After the call, she took a helicopter and left Bruce alone.

Looks at Hill’s back, a smile formed on Bruce’s face. It had finally started.

If he had guessed correctly, he had officially entered the plot of The Avengers.

The phone call must have been about the Tesseract. And since It was about the Tesseract, then It must mean that Loki had come.  This was the beginning of the plot in the original series.

Still, Bruce did not care about that, because S.H.I.E.L.D. would take heavy losses tonight, and Hawkeye would be controlled by Loki.

But this all meant nothing to him. The important thing was, the first New York War.
