I Am Hades, Lord of the Underworld!

Chapter 215: Chapter 215: The Six Million-Year Agreement! Return to the Underworld!

"..."

Zeus and Poseidon were momentarily stunned. Wait! What just happened? What is this? What are you doing? No! No! What is this thing?

The two God-Kings watched as Hades casually took away the entire Mount Othrys.

The problem was...

They didn't even have time to react. This was like an entire small world, yet they didn't realize what was happening until it was already done. By the time they thought to say something, it would have been too embarrassing.

"..."

Poseidon and Zeus, apart from blaming themselves for not reacting quickly enough, had no other options. After all, what could they do now? It was already a done deal.

Hades had taken it away, and at this point, saying anything would be meaningless.

"It's time to leave." Hades' voice was calm, as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn't just done something monumental. "Poseidon, Zeus, when shall we meet again?"

"..."

Poseidon didn't answer immediately, as he was lost in thought.

Zeus, after a brief consideration, said, "How about six million years from now?"

"Fine," Hades agreed to Zeus' proposal. For him, the passage of millions of years didn't really matter. Whether it was six million or ten million years, the essence remained unchanged.

Poseidon coldly responded, "Agreed, let's meet again in six million years."

A six million-year agreement! But what would they discuss when they met again? It was obvious: the position of God-King would need to be decided.

Even though Hades and Poseidon were not particularly interested in the position of God-King, could they really just hand it over to Zeus? That was out of the question!

Because of this, the topic of their next meeting was already set. Until then, how things would unfold depended on their preparations and strategies.

Poseidon and Zeus departed simultaneously, while Hades quietly watched them leave. Then, he calmly opened the gates of the Underworld and returned.

The Titan War had finally concluded.

Everything had come to an end. Now, it was time to return to the Underworld and seek peace.

Or perhaps...

For the first time since his birth, Hades was about to experience peace. Of course, there were still many matters to attend to in the Underworld. These could be entrusted to Hypnos, Mephistopheles, or even Baal.

However, they all knew that there were certain things only the supreme Lord Hades could handle.

...

The Underworld!

At the entrance of Yomotsu Hirasaka, as the gates to the Underworld opened, Hades stepped through, greeted by Hypnos, Thanatos, and the other children of Erebus and Nyx—the gods of the Underworld.

There was also Baal leading the seventy-two demon gods, and Mephistopheles among them. Additionally, all the perfected Underworld warriors were present.

All the beings of the Underworld who had the right to be there, including Hestia and the temporal shadow of Rhea, were gathered.

As Hades returned, every one of them respectfully knelt on one knee.

"Welcome back, Lord Hades!!!"

"Welcome back, Lord Hades!!!"

"Welcome back, Lord Hades!!!"

Hades' safe return signified that everything was settled. The Titan War had finally ended, marking the victory of the new gods and, simultaneously, the victory of the Underworld!

Hades merely nodded indifferently and said in a calm voice, "The Titan War has ended. Now, we will have six million years of peace. Go and rest."

"Yes!"

The gods and warriors of the Underworld stood up and departed one by one.

Only Rhea and Hestia remained.

Hades quietly observed the temporal shadow of his mother and his elder sister.

"Haha~~~"

Hestia chuckled and said, "Lord Hades, really, you didn't need me at all, and yet the Titan War has ended. It makes me feel like I'm just useless!"

Though Hestia was making fun of herself, her cheerful demeanor showed she was truly happy.

Unlike Demeter and Hera, Hestia only desired a peaceful life. As long as she had peace, that was enough. As for everything else? It didn't really matter to Hestia.

"Elder sister," Hades said calmly, "There's no need to think about it too much. Just rest well. If the day ever comes when the Underworld requires your participation in war, then the Underworld will be facing destruction. But that day will never come."

Hades' voice was gentle, but within that gentleness was an unshakable confidence and pride.

Hades was fully aware of the fate that led to the end, but like his father, the supreme Titan God-King Cronus, he had absolute confidence that the end would never reach him.

He would transcend the limits of the mythical world, surpass the predetermined fate, and ultimately walk on the path of eternity, becoming an Ancient God, a Creator God, an Absolute God, or even...

Hades had never lacked confidence. As a God-King, if he didn't possess this supreme self-confidence, then he might as well not be a God-King.

"Haha~~~"

Rhea covered her mouth and laughed lightly. "Hades, your confidence is just like His Majesty's. Always in control of everything, believing nothing will ever escape your grasp."

Hades didn't respond to this, instead asking calmly, "Mother, how is life in the Underworld?"

"It's very good!" Rhea smiled. "His Majesty's defeat ends here. With the conclusion of the Titan War, everything has been decided. By giving up love and living only for family, I am truly happy."

Rhea couldn't help but squint her eyes in contentment. She was genuinely happy. Having let go of love, all that remained was her affection for her eldest daughter and son.

For Rhea, who had long been torn and conflicted, this was perhaps the best possible outcome.
