Chapter 146: Fugaku and Sage Art
He hears her question, his reaction void of surprise. It's like he's always been aware of her presence.
“I said I knew. Do you believe me, Tsunade-sama?”
From a distance, a beautiful blond-haired woman in a ninja costume and a protector walk towards Fugaku. She smiles and asks, “I don’t believe you. So tell me, what is my future?”
“Hey, are you sure you want to hear it?”
“Is there something wrong with my future?”
He leans against the stone and says, “I don’t dare say anything about the distant future, but I know that you will soon leave with Shizune.
You will gamble, drink, and run away from debtors wherever you go. And you will turn your lovely niece into a caretaker.”
In his understanding, Tsunade will be the fifth Hokage. But now he's not sure if there will be an event at Kannabi Bridge after Obito inherits Madara's will.
Obito’s fate is uncertain, so the Night of the Nine-Tails is also uncertain. And even if it happened, would Minato still die in Obito's presence?
If Minato hadn't died, Tsunade wouldn't have become the fifth Hokage, right? The butterfly effect is terrifying.
“Did you meet Jiraiya when you went to the village?”
“Huh? How do you know that?” Fugaku blurts it out.
Tsunade looks at him with an expression of disbelief. “I’ll just say it... It must have been Jiraiya who told you something, and you guessed the rest, right?”
“Huh?” He is left speechless. “Forget it; you’re right. But what are you doing here with me? You can’t just be here to spy on us, right?”
“I… I’m curious: What really happened? But I remember, Aren’t you the type who goes to those places?”
Fugaku smiles. “That’s a private matter; I won’t tell you.”
“Fine, don’t tell me then!”
“I have something to ask you.”
“I don’t want to tell you anything either!” Tsunade replies, and he freezes in shock.
“Ah, I wanted to ask you about the Sage arts, but I didn’t expect you to be so stubborn. It seems that I need to learn myself!”
“Sage arts?” Tsunade is surprised. “Jiraiya told you about that?”
“Yes, he and I did a mission in the Grass Village; we talked about these things.” Fugaku doesn’t bother to explain, since she believes him, so he goes along with it.
He has to learn the Sage Arts, because if he wants to fare against Otsutsuki,
He doesn’t know what the difference is between the three sannin. Tsunade, in anime, doesn’t know the Sage arts; she only shows the Strength of a Hundred Seal, which allows her to regenerate.
Tsunade, in his memory, didn’t know the Sage arts; she only had the yin seal, which allowed her to regenerate her injury.
But Fugaku doesn’t think that she can’t learn the sage arts. The so-called three sacred places of the three sannin, the two members of Sanin, can use the Sage arts, but the Shikkotsu Forest of Tsunade can't. That is hard to believe.
“What kind of mission?” Tsunade asks, intrigued.
“Hey, do you really want to know?”
Tsunade nods subconsciously. “Come closer, and I’ll tell you!”
With a loud “bang” on the mountain, in Konoha camp, ninjas who are not asleep are startled by the noise and rush towards them.
“You were the one who wanted to know; luckily I was prepared; otherwise, you would have killed me!”
Fugaku watches the stone turn into dust and runs away as if his life depends on it.
Tsunade stares at Fugaku's retreating figure, seething fury!
How dare he act so immature! He is the leader of the Uchiha clan, but he speaks like a spoiled brat! She wanted to hear from him, and she is ready to tell him about sage art.

The next morning arrived, casting an early light on the mountain peak where Itsuki stood, eyeing his clan leader with suspicion.
He couldn't fathom why he had been summoned at such an early hour, but Fugaku's solemn expression discouraged him from asking.
“Itsuki-senpai, do you trust me?” Fugaku suddenly broke the silence, his tone cautious.
Without hesitation, Itsuki responded, “Of course, you saved my life; I trust you.” His loyalty to Fugaku had solidified after being rescued from the Suna ambush.
“What we are going to do next is very secret, and I hope you will keep it to yourself,” Fugaku stated, placing his hands on Itsuki's shoulders with gravity.
Itsuki, intrigued and somewhat nervous, looked at his clan leader with a puzzled expression. "That... clan leader, what’s going on? Just tell me; I’m nervous already here.”
Fugaku didn’t waste any time and produced a carton of milk with a straw. “Drink this.”
Perplexed, Itsuki complied and emptied the carton. “Weren’t you afraid that I would poison you?” Fugaku asked curiously.
Itsuki waved off the concern with a casual smile. “What are you talking about? Besides, you don’t need to poison me to kill me.”
“Hahaaha, true.”
“Did you call me here just to give me this carton of milk?”
Fugaku nodded, activating his Sharingan. Although he couldn’t discern chakra changes as precisely as the Byakugan, he could still observe the general flow.
“Do you feel anything different?” Fugaku asked eagerly.
Itsuki, looking bewildered, checked his body. “No.”
“Did I guess wrong again?” Fugaku scrutinized him, failing to detect any distinctive chakra flow.
Suddenly, Itsuki sensed something amiss as beads of sweat formed on his forehead.
"So, it took about three minutes to take effect?" Fugaku's expression shifted, indicating a sense of peculiarity.
