HP X LOTM : Please Call Me Mr. Error.

Chapter 29: Sequence 9 : Marauder.

*SQUEAK* *SQUEAK* *SQUEAK*

The Niffler shivered in fear and his body bulged out arbitrarily creating faint protrusions all along, but to bring them to a halt and prevent Princess Rapunzel from losing control, Loki immediately interfered.

"Listen to me calmly, you're going to be alright as long as you do what I say."

*Squeak*

"Imagine as many circles of lights as you can and stack them one on each other."

The Niffler listened to Loki and did as he requested, causing the faint protrusions to calm down and settle inside the body.

The Niffler instead began to look around everything in a new light.

"What you're seeing right now should be because of cogitation, which you did just now. To come out of it just close your eyes and distract yourself, tell your spirituality that it is alright and that it should end. That will do the trick." Loki urged calmly.

*squeak* *squeak*

The Niffler squeaked and closed its eyes and after a moment opened them again.

Before Loki could speak anything Princess Rapunzel rushed toward him and jumped onto his shoulder.

"Aww…you were scared?"

*Squeak* *Squeak*

"Don't worry, nothing will happen now. You are fine now. Calm down." Loki said scratching the Niffler under its ear to calm him down.

Once the Niffler had calmed down with one final *squeak*, Loki got the Flubberworm Mucus from the right side of the cupboard and began to prepare the Sequence 9: Marauder potion.

"And all that's left is heating it after adding a hundred drops of pure distilled water."

Sucking up a little bit of pure distilled water into the pipette Loki gradually poured a hundred drops into the beaker that now contained a variety of ingredients and was sitting atop a burner.

"Ninety Eight, Ninety Nine, and a Hundred."

With the last drop into the beaker Loki immediately turned on the burner and began to watch with fascination how the individual ingredients all melded together and began to fuse into a greenish satin-like liquid that had glitter sprinkled in it.

*Squeak* *Squeak*

Princess Rapunzel squeaked in fear as she tried to stop Loki from drinking the potion afraid that something would happen to him by pulling on his ears, but Loki persisted.

"Don't worry Princess Rapunzel, nothing will happen to me, remember how I helped you out? I will help myself similarly." Loki said and petted Princess Rapunzel until he was satisfied and placed him down on the counter in front of him.

Looking at the beaker that contained the potion he so greedily desired Loki gulped audibly before making a hasty attempt at grabbing the beaker and gluping the potion in its entirety.

'Arghh…thick.'

'It feels like a slug is sliding down my throat.'

The entire potion in the beaker slipped into Loki's mouth without leaving a drop behind as it followed its way down to his stomach and immediately began to work its magic.

It felt like a wave was passing through his body, like time was ticking differently for each of his cells. A thrum of power echoed and distorted his senses.

The Gray fog converged in his vision and he immediately saw himself in third person, extricated from the body he had transmigrated in to, the body that was now convulsing beneath him.

He could see Princess Rapunzel was worried and screeching to try and get his attention to help him, but everything seemed confusing right now.

A rampant murmuring entered his ears, much like the wails of a banshee, yet he paid attention, capturing a few words that screamed louder than the rest.

"Walburga…Hogwarts…Walburga…Hogwarts…Walburga…Hogwarts…"

But hearing the murmurings of fate extracted a price from Loki, his body rapidly descended into madness and chaos as it started to morph into a rough creature.

'Bollocks! I'm losing control!'

Loki immediately willed his spirituality to return causing his spirit body to snap back into his physical body. Then closing his eyes he imagined the outline of seven light spheres and began to stack them up on each other as if he were building a tower.

The convulsions slowed down at first and then stopped with his body reforming back into normal.

Loki slowly opened his eyes only to find the little Niffler biting his finger to show him his anger.

*Squeak* *Squeak* *Squeak*

"Hehe~ Sorry for the scare. I'm alright now."

*Squeak* *Squeak*

"Sorry, sorry, come on, climb onto my shoulder, I'm going to try something out.

Loki slowly brought his fingers in front of his eyes until the palms face each other.

Focusing on the gap between the tips of index fingers on the two hands, Loki slowly moved them away.

A red colour flared between his fingers and caused Loki to become surprised at how realistic it looked, but he kept at it and slowly widened his vision.

The entire world around him was suddenly swimming with colours.

He then looked at the mirror nearby that showed his reflection.

His limbs were red, his head a dainty purple, his circulator system and organs a bright green, his throat and nervous system a deep blue, his excretory system a shade of orange and his digestive system a pale yellow.

Overall his body was cloaked in a blanket of white that indicated his good health.

Satisfied with the health of his body, Loki looked around.

'What is this place? A gold mine?' Loki wondered since he could now inherently guess the value of all the things around him and everything felt like it was worth more than its weight in gold.

The potion had given him the ability to instinctually guess a close to the precise value of an object.

After looking around the room, Loki's eyes then fell on the little critter who was still a little worried about him.

Noticing his gaze the Niffler *squeaked*.

A white light cloaked him too and showed he was in good health causing Loki to sigh in relief.

"So our bodies are alright huh?" Loki nodded in satisfaction and brought his hand close to Princess Rapunzel.

The Niffler sniffed his fingers a little and then jumped on his hands and ran up to his other shoulder, switching sides.

*Squeak* *Squeak*

"Haha! I know, I know it looked risky, but I promise! I promise that all of it's worked all right for me. I'm fine." Loki nodded.

Loki blinked and looked around the room, especially at the ingredients in the cupboard that all had a colour attached to them.

'Huh, so even in this world Beyonder ingredients have a remnant spirituality attached to them.'

In general, the reds around the room were redder, the blues were bluer and everything felt like it was contrasted by much.

All the pathways around the room felt like they popped out more to Loki. Not because of their colours but because Loki could feel his brain coming up with the best ways he could escape from the room should there be a need to do so.

His vision felt a little more controllable so Loki tried it out to see what was up with it and he spotted himself able to control the amount of light his eyes could use.

It felt like he could see perfectly in the darkness with very little darkness.

His fingers felt more dexterous and his hand felt like they could carry much heavier things only using his fingers.

His strength had increased but that was only a little, he'd still lose in a fight with an adult.

Jumping on his toes Loki could feel how balanced his body felt. Although not as exaggerated as a Sequence 8 clown, Loki felt he could control his body pretty well.

After testing everything about the potion, Loki finally turned to look at the coffin and saw Walburga's spirituality inside it.

His mood immediately turned a little depressed.

Instead of the white colour of a healthy body, Walburga seemed to be covered in a dark hue that represented her sickness.

'What is that? Five, maybe six years at most?' Although this was the first time Loki had been using spirit vision, he instinctively knew how long Walburga had left.

Loki then felt his glabella spasm a little and he knew that it was time to end his adventurous journey with spirit vision.

He closed his eyes and forced his spirituality to converge and end his spirit vision so that he could go back to looking at things normally.

"*sigh* troublesome." Loki whispered as his eyes lay on Walburga's coffin once again.

"I need to figure out what to do with her."

"Especially when one of the wailings I heard when I drank the potion was her name."

"How is she related to my advancement in the Error pathway?"

"And I need to figure out what the deal is with Hogwarts."

"I guess I can study about it until the next couple of months before I get my invitation letter."
