Chapter 31 – Third Day 02.
I noticed that I got Lily's name wrong, not that I was wrong, but in my country, she is called Lilian, so I wrote it that way since I started calling Albus of 'Alvo,' which is also the official name in my mother tongue.

Third Person POV
Hogwarts.
...
...
The room fell into a deadly silence after the teacher's words, and while Snape was thoughtful about it, finding it quite interesting and unexpected, deep down, she didn't believe in those words or that kind of prophecy.
The silence was broken by a Gryffindor student at that moment, "Professor, you must be joking..." He murmured with some fear.
Meanwhile, the teacher did not respond, still seeming frightened, staring intently at the cup. Seeing this, Snape decided to act. Before she could react, Snape grabbed her so quickly that she didn't have time to respond, looking at the cup for a moment before flinging it back with a simple gesture, but it was so forceful that it exploded into a thousand pieces scattered all around the room.
The teacher finally snapped out of her daze seeing the cup shattered into several pieces. Snape saw this, decided to speak while everyone in the room looked at him with their mouths open.
"Come on, Professor, this is nonsense. Me, in a world war on this planet? That's impossible," Snape commented, almost mocking the teacher. While the teacher looked at him still with wide eyes, even with Snape's aggressive action in grabbing the cups, she didn't seem offended, but still looked at him cautiously, fear in her eyes.
She just nodded finally and moved away from Snape to return to the class, while the room erupted in gossip as everyone still looked at Madara, with no one able to disguise it.
"Your ex-friend is scaring me now..." A student next to Lily said with a cautious tone.
"Snape..." Lily didn't know what to make of it, it seemed like an unprecedented absurdity to her and everyone in the room.
Not even the teacher seemed to recover from the shock while she kept silent, seeming to think about what she saw with Snape.
"Hey, you don't believe what she said, do you?" the girl beside her asked with a certain caution, looking up at Snape since she was shorter.
"Do you believe?" Snape asked, turning his gaze while he countered with another question.
"No... that's ridiculous." She admitted, shaking her head no.
Who could believe that a fifth-year student would become the epicenter of a war that would involve the entire planet? They might expect that from you-know-who, but not from a 16-year-old boy.
"See, I didn't think much about it, I realized that this class is useless. It's all nonsense and I'll see if I can change to not wanting to see supposed hypothetical futures..." Snape spoke with some disdain.
The class continued in deadly silence except for the small conversations among the students, until the clock indicated that it finally ended.
"May I accompany you to the common room?" Lucinda asked and Snape shrugged. That indicated to the girl that it was a yes.
Snape soon began to regret it, because the girl suddenly started making conversation about things that were idiotic in his opinion, while he responded in monosyllables.
"Have you been to the lake this year?" She asked.
"Yes." He responded.
"And to Hogsmeade?" She asked again as they walked through the corridors.
"No." He responded.
"How about you go with me next weekend?" She asked hopefully.
He was going to make an excuse, but someone called him at that moment, while trying to calm him down. "Snape!"
Lucinda seemed to grimace when she saw Lily behind them, waiting to talk to Snape, while Snape gave a look not even wanting to know what this girl wanted with him.
"What is it?" Snape asked in a tone that indicated he didn't want to talk.
"I..." Lily seemed still disconcerted by Snape's tone, after all, until a few months ago, he had been chasing her like a kicked dog while she looked at him with disdain every time he tried to approach her, it seemed to be the opposite this time.
"What do you want?" Snape pressed her while she didn't even know what to say with his attitude.
"I want to..." She started speaking again but was interrupted once more.
"Can you stop bothering if you're just going to stutter?" It wasn't Snape who spoke this time, but Lucinda beside him, frustrated with the Gryffindor girl who was ruining her first encounter with the boy she was interested in.
Lily looked a bit frustrated and turned back to Snape. "Snape, can I talk to you for a moment, alone?" She asked.
Snape didn't even want to know what this woman wanted with him, so he shook his head. "No, thank you. Now, if you'll excuse us," he said, leaving Lily embarrassed and resuming walking.
"Please," she practically begged. "Just give me a word."
Snape saw that this girl was annoying him and wouldn't stop, so sighing, he said, "You'll only have one word from me. Speak. We can't go somewhere private, there's nothing to hide." He said in his stern tone.
Lily was a bit disconcerted, but at least she had Snape's word. Snape looked at his current companion, who sensed this and nodded angrily, while turning a fierce gaze back to Lily .
"You'll pay for this, Gryffindor!" Lucinda said angrily as she began to walk away with heavy steps.
"Snape, answer me honestly. What happened to you?" She asked and Snape looked up, not mincing words. "It doesn't matter," he simply said.
Hearing something so terse, Lily let her shoulders drop at that moment, to her, everything seemed uncertain. "Why are you like this?" She asked looking sad, seeing that the boy she knew before had disappeared, and she couldn't help but become a bit emotional about it.
"Evans, what do you want? Can you just stop talking to me?" Snape wanted to cut all ties with this girl; he thought he had done so, but she still approached him.
Lily was a girl who not only Snape mistook, but even herself more so in the opinion of a man who lived as he did, after all, she always protected her housemates and even listened to them more than her childhood friend; she didn't mind sacrificing Snape for her own and her friends' sake.
She was the type of person he would rather not have contact with, so he made it clear when he told her in his eyes that she was a mudblood, though Snape now did not despise Muggles as 99% of those who used that phrase did, after all, Muggles were ahead of wizards in many aspects, and the fools never realized it or how they could benefit from looking differently at Muggles.
Even the wizards who came from Muggle parents didn't seem to use the knowledge of the non-magical world; Snape always said after he opened the newspaper on that bus in the first hours of his life in this world, that the future of this world would be Muggle, and even with the wizards and their spells, technology would have weapons to combat them, after all, how could they use Avada Kedavra, Cruciatus, and Imperius on a combat robot specialized in killing wizards?
Understanding this, Snape used the mudblood phrase on Lily just to push this girl away once and for all, but it seemed she now magically cared about him.
"I want to apologize," she admitted, wanting to get closer to Snape.
"There's no apology. There's nothing left between our friendship that was lost a long time ago, Evans." Snape didn't even call her by her first name anymore, leaving the girl even more downtrodden.
"Now, if you'll excuse me," he said and began to turn away, but Lily didn't let him go just like that, simply shouting at him.
"Snape would never act like this. Who are you and what have you done with him?" she said, finally, as some students in the corridor looked on, surprised.
Snape, who had stopped when he was already turning his back on the girl, paused in silence and started with a small laugh. He then began to laugh louder, leaving Lili a bit dazed as Snape turned around.
"Don't talk nonsense, Evans. I'm not the same as before. Honestly, I want nothing to do with you. So, don't come bothering me again," he said and turned his back again, leaving the girl behind, as tears began to appear in her eyes, without further words, she began to flee, running away crying, while the students watching, especially from Slytherin, smiled at a Mudblood Gryffindor being scorned.
Snape didn't care; after all, he wanted nothing to do with this girl and it was better for them to cut any ties that there were. Meanwhile, he headed to the hall alone, finally arriving after a while and approaching the Gryffindor table.
The looks were intense towards him, especially from Lucius and the older students, Lucius in particular was so angry with Snape that he wanted to attack him right there, but he couldn't, and even something inside him began to fear Snape, even though it was humiliating, everyone knew what happened, that he had been beaten by a half-blood like Snape, even some students angry with Snape still mocked Lucius.
"Keep looking like that, Lucius, and your fiancée will think you don't like women," a seventh-year student didn't miss a chance to mock.
"Shut up!!" Lucius exclaimed, slamming the table angrily at that comment.
"Don't be so touchy Lucius, we can take down a fifth-year student," another said, looking at Snape walking by them uncaringly and going to his usual spot, while Geronimo seemed to shrink with Snape always sitting next to him for some reason, nor did Snape seem oblivious to this, he sat there because it was vacant and Lucinda was calling him to sit by her side further on, but he didn't want to listen to or answer her persistent questions.
Turning back to Lucius, he looked at the colleague who made the last comment. "We can deal with him later. Perhaps I have prepared something to make Snape never dare to touch a pure-blood again," said a student with a sinister smile.
"I would like to see him humiliated," spoke another seventh-year student.
"Don't worry, we will see him without all this current arrogance. You will see Snape like a dog soon!" said the student with a sadistic smile.
