I know you are confuse son… I am too when I was writing this letter. Writing this letter to a person who is still in my belly….

Before anything, I want to ask for your Forgiveness. I wasn't there for you all this time. God only knows that I would have given anything in this world to be with you, watch you grow.

But life has a way to make even the mightiest of us feel helpless and weak, let alone me.

However, still I want to asked for your forgiveness, I don't known whether you will ever read this letter, but I want you to know that you mother alway loved you. I know its hard to believe, you grow up without me, while writing this letter I know that I will not live long, I alwayed knew.

You see son, I am not a woman of this time…

Would you believe me if I say that Merlin was my father…

Hahaha… absurd right…

You, if still reading and haven't crunched up the letter and thrown it away then mind hearing my story. I promise its not long, you can say by the letter length.

I am not joking when I say who my father was.

Its a long story, way too long to write in a letter honestly.

But in a gist, I travel from the past to future, I carry something in my blood which I myself am unaware of.

It all was because of one prophecy. Its always some Prophecy… an advice, you should stay away from them, they are a headache….hahah…

 You can tell that I am a old woman, a woman who has been out of her time all her life.

Chase by Vampires for what I carry as their mistress deem to destroy everything regarding this power in our blood.

Half power, other half is what you have to find, that is your destiny. You are the only person in the world who can unite the two halves of the broken power… or at least that the prophecy said.

I was 10 when I leave my house and ran running away. Pleases, times, I stopped at nothing.

My goal was to reach to the closes place to the next rebirth of magic. And then pass on my blood. To give birth to the destine one.

At first I didn't believe it. Who doesn't lose hope when hoards of vampires are chasing you across the globe for a thousand year.

hehe…

But you know what, when I met a person, I felt that it was possible. That man… he saves me from my end. I for the first time believed that its possible to fight against that darkness.

You are named after him, a very powerful person, maybe even more than my father. Never thought I could say this but its true.

He was a very good friend of mine, a little strange but when with him, I felt that as long as he decides anything is possible. Just like father….

And then there is your father. He is a good man, I hope that he had stayed with you and at least you had one parent when growing up.

I know you ahve many question, I know that this letter arise more questions than it answers.

Once again I have to disappoint you in this regards, you have to find answers yourself. Part of the reason is that I too am ignorant of many things.

I am Merlin's Daughter yes, but I am not Merlin himself. Unlike my father, I am but a humble witch. Over the years as I travel through time, both my life and magic have weaken. I am as of right now, not any better than any normal non magical.

I am weak…ignorant… I… can't even help you…. But I want to know you that I love you son…

always have and always will.

"Go find Orion, he can surely help you. Say my name, I am sure he will. He has a nasty habit of impersonating as someone else, just go and look for the boogy man in the underground. That the only lead I can give you about him, he in very famous by the name of Baba Yaga, something that even he isn't aware of.

If you father is there then I don't even have to explain that there is always Albus Dumbledore that you can go to.

What is your destiny is not mine to say… but I want you to know that I am proud of you. Whatever you do and become… as long as you follow your heart, I am proud of you…"

Orion read the letter as he sat there, alone while his younger self and red were down, he only had a recently born Phoenix to accompany to.

The forest was still burning around him, he hardly care, fire was everywhere but as long as the three being around him were safe, he coudn't care if the world burn's over right now.

After reading this, there was no particular emotion on his face. He just remain calm and stayed there. Almost like was waiting for something or someone.

Time pass and there was no reaction, however as time pass, Orion found himself being restless. His entire body was shaking, and he was barely holding himself together anymore.

"So is this what you meant by choosing the lesser evil…" He mutter, his head down. He was clutching the letter in his hand hard.

Honestly, this was nothing to do with the letter at all, he was there when his mothered died, he knew how it happened and now even know why. He already have cried for her. So, no he wasn't feeling like this because of her mother or his own condition right now.

He wasn't the brightest person, but after all his time, he have started to connect the dots, however, even now he sat in one place and waited.

The letter still clench hard in his hand. Though now it was getting a little wet. Drops of water fell on the matter, one after another.

It was no rain…

"You were never here, do you…" It was just a whisper.

The memories he have gotten just a little while ago was of Merlin. It was sealed inside the pendant. It was nothing like the Merlin he knew. Not even close. The memories he got was from a completely different man than he remembered.

That with all the signs he had in front of him. Its not hard to figure it out.

"I was always alone… just ME…!'

"HAHAHAHAHAHA…..

I have to be the first person who pull this level of prank on himself isn't it." He laughs. The letter tearing in his hands due to it was already too wet.

Magical power which was suppressed inside him could no longer be held back.

A powerful wave of magic burst out, it was so powerful that it immediately vanquished the fire around him cause by the Phoenix birth.

It was like a low level unintentional Shinra Tensei.

But that was only the start. More powerful magic pour out of him in waves, due to him putting wards for his young one and two Red,they were safe but those magical wave almost uproot the trees around him.

The magical power was overwhelming.

"That why you like Naruto… I see it… One Puppet controlling another. I get it…

Orion just talk to himself, like he was going crazy. Like his entire life has been a joke.

"No Greater Good… Only Lesser Evil, what it cost, just fool yourself…

A man trying to enjoy life, and deceiving himself. I can't say it better old man…." He said as he brought both his hand towards his face, for some reason his eyes sting right now.

All that fire make his eyes itchy.

Every second passed, his conjecture was proven right. He just stayed, just wanting to quit already. Whatever was left worth quitting now.

He just sat there, remembering how years ago when the orphanage caretaker threw him out.

He feel the same now for some reason. Cold, Lost, Angry, and all alone…

After hours the sun finally rise and Orion who now had dark eyes, look at his younger self with strange eyes.

"So…this is when I have to choose huh… greater good or lesser evil…" Orion muttered to himself.

It was clear that no Merlin will be coming for this this little guy here. His future will be full of trouble and pain as his was.

So, just like another version of him might have made a choice, he now have to made one now.

What should he do ?

He was wondering, when he saw the boy shifting in his position. Obviously waking up.

He close his eyes, clenching his teeth and rubbing his eyes.

And after some time he said.

"Oh you finally woke up…"

"Huh, Gandalf ?"

"Hahaha…. No no I not Gandalf. But you can call me that if you wants too…"
