By Xia Chen's estimation, at least 300,000 individuals frequented the area around the Jewel of the East.

However, now there was a Honkai Energy reactor installed atop it.

Although significantly smaller than Schicksal's reactors, this rudimentary device still posed enough threat to infect many with Honkai.

Unconcerned about causing astonishment, Xia Chen communicated with Sirin, "Sirin, assist me."

She granted him permission through the Stigmata, allowing access to her power.

In the following second, Xia Chen arrived at the Jewel of the East, startling many with his sudden appearance.

However, he paid no heed to them. After confirming the location of the Honkai Energy reactor, he immediately teleported there.

But he was just one step too late.

The Honkai Energy reactor exploded instantly. Despite swiftly using his Authority to contain the Honkai Energy, some still escaped, infecting these defenseless individuals with Entropy Sickness.

It seemed unlikely that someone was directly surveilling him, as Sirin's abilities allowed her to transition between reality and Virtual Space. Unless the Herrscher of Dominance could also hide within Virtual Space, surveillance seemed improbable.

Although not entirely impossible, considering the Herrscher of Dominance had retrieved the Gem of Haste from Virtual Space.

Additionally, you were the one who dealt with the creature carrying the Jewel of the East. I acknowledge this as your achievement, but I want to know more details."

Clearly, Schicksal had not yet disclosed information about Honkai Events to the general public.

As a result, Xia Chen's nearly divine power made him a target for the police.

"The knowledge you seek is not within your authority to obtain."

Xia Chen shook his head.

"Poor Herrscher, you truly lack understanding of humanity's complex emotions."

Instead, he activated his communicator.

"Alvitr, have you received the reports? Multiple small-scale incidents disrupting public order have occurred in Shenzhou, mirroring those in Europe - likely the work of the Herrscher of Dominance."

"I request that Schicksal engage with the Shenzhou government to at least ensure their cooperation in capturing the Herrscher."

"Understood."

On the communicator screen, Alvitr's antenna-like hair slightly perked up.

She hadn't expected Xia Chen to contact her again, given their opposing stances. Even Alvitr couldn't fully comprehend how things had deteriorated to this point.

But as Xia Chen stated in his opening remark:

Their shared goal was to combat Honkai.

Through his conversation with Alvitr, Xia Chen learned that his defection from Schicksal was triggered by Ana's suicide.

He still obtained the Authority of the Herrscher of Ice, but during the transfer to World Serpent, he was rescued by Anti-Entropy agents. However, the fate lines of Ana's suicide and Wendy's restricted freedom remained unchanged.

Feeling disillusioned, Xia Chen left Anti-Entropy and returned to Shenzhou.

Perhaps as compensation, Schicksal did not attempt to reclaim Moon Ash.

Thus, Alvitr was genuinely surprised by Xia Chen reaching out to her.

She cautioned, "You... need to be careful. There are many people waiting for your return."

"Understood."

Xia Chen ended the communication and turned towards the dummy.

"I'll soon show you what modern technology truly means."
